• Muir (2/5): Love the location. Staff are lovely. Economy cabins. BAD - I love the location bloody awsome spot. We've had a powered site there before and really enjoyed the stay. Good to see the pool was in use as it was getting redone last time we stopped. Staff are always lovely helpful people. Those economy cabins are bad. For $220 per night. We just came from a whole apartment on the Gold Coast for $300 per night. Never again would I stay in one of those. Bad.

• Jan (3/5): Never again - The setting is lovely, well kept and attractive Our cabin was old and shabby. We arrived on a 29 degree afternoon to no air conditioning, only 2 grubby fans. Nothing was mentioned about the lack of aircon, no screen on door and badly fitted screens on windows. Also we were sandwiched between 2 other cabins,connecting walls,and the sound transference was extreme.

Easy to walk out the gates to the estuary and beach. Loved there was a bar onsite and food van. Great coffee there! The kookaburras and rosellas were very friendly and loved visiting the front deck. Would’ve loved a small bbq on the deck however there were bbq facilities around to use.

• Louis (7/5): Passing through - The cabin was spacious. The bed was comfortable. For a family it would be excellent with tennis courts, pool, huge trampoline and access to the inlet for swimming and fishing. The beach is nearby. There's a coffee van for breakfast options and the free shuttle bus for the local tavern picks up at reception. The cabins are in an open area which is very green and you can chat with other guests on their balconies. I was only there for 1 night, so don't take too much notice of this review. There are no screen doors and no air conditioning in the cabins, so insects get in. There were lots the night I stayed. The amenities are very basic - eg no tissues. The bathroom is quite old.

Really comfortable bed , clean , staff were delightful and exceptional value for money for one night. The cabin was very old and although comfortable it could do with many updates of bathroom, veranda and paint.

It was clean and welcoming and I was so happy to see a small carton of milk in the fridge for a nice cuppa on arrival! We only stayed one night, but during the night the bathroom had 100s of ants and in the morning they were gone but we had a number of small cockroach-type things instead

The price was affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am disabled and though our cabin had a ramp there was no handrail which was disappointing. The outside of the cabin looked dirty and could use a wash down and a coat of paint. It looked grotty. The kitchen was dated and the fridge was tiny. The table and chairs were old and wobbly and need replacing.

It was overall good value for money. The pool was lovely and the onside coffee van was great. The window screens didn't seal so insects got in, the curtains weren't wide enough to cover the window and the plastic chairs could have cushions

Hot shower with good water pressure The Cabin was in huge disrepair. Not updated probably since they were put there 40 years ago. The fridge had dog hair and dirt inside it. The tiles in the shower were cracked and lifted with no grout. The door and door frames had water damage. The inside of the kettle was black. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed since the last people stayed in it. The fridge was too small for a family staying the weekend. The outdoor table was broken. The photos on booking.com were not of the cabin we stayed in. False advertising. Not clean at all

• Stefanie (7/5): Cheap overnight stay - This was a great cheap place for a short overnight stay on our way to Sydney. The staff were very accommodating for a late check in. The room was basic and older looking but that didn't worry us as it had everything we needed. It has amazing water pressure for the shower - so good!! The bed was comfortable. Lovely location. As we drove around the camp ground, the facilities around seemed good and kids were playing on the jumping pillow. Closed all the windows to make sure bugs didn't come in as some of the fly screens had gaps.

• Andrew (8/5): Excellent location and affordable family holiday. - This gorgeous holiday park is close to the river and beach. We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was basic, but met our needs. It was also affordable- something I am finding increasingly more difficult to find for family holidays. The park is spacious. Really hoping that when planned upgrades occur, they can maintain that sense of space. Being a little bit secluded allowed for lots of great family time. The wifi was limited, but not a major factor. The bunk beds could be upgraded.
