Guest Reviews
- Valeria (7/5): - Appartamento molto carino pulito, ottima posizione per i mezzi pubblici Essendo vicino alla stazione purtroppo il palazzo era fatiscente sporco poco sicuro frequentato da personaggi un po' ai limiti
- Brandy (5/5): -
- Jakub (7/5): Ubytování ciste, splňovalo to co jsme očekávali.
Skvělé přivítání a milá majitelka. Jediné co mi scházelo je, že nebyl k dispozici žádný šampon ani sprchový gel. V kuchyni je kávovar, ale žádné kapsle. A trochu mi vadil plesnivý sprchový závěs.
Ale to jsou jen maličkosti, které se dají ihned vyřešit.

- Jennifer (8/5): Had a great visit to Rome thanks Cristina for your hospitality - The apartment was Clean, comfortable had everything we needed. Was close to transport which made it easy to get to all the main attractions as well as to and from the airport The building and outside is very rundown and needs some attention.
- Soumya (8/5): Comfortable - It was clean and near Roma termini. It has lift for 5 levels and few series of steps. The surroundings were not clean and looked unsafe to me.
- Rianne (10/5): Absolutely wonderful!! - Very spacious and clean, had amenities which were all super clean. The staff were all so lovely and helpful!!! Nothing it was all good
- Dean (3/5): Poor - Strangers buzzing door multiple times on multiple nights. So I unplugged the phone. Then I saw the strangers from the camera sitting on the stairs inside the building morning with nowhere to go.
- Eric (9/5): Wonderful. Couldn’t fit in everything, but saw all we wanted to, and more. - Location
Close to station, shops, supermarkets, places to eat The area outside is a bit dingy (people loitering). Once inside all is great.
- Longtalker (7/5): Nice flat, but a hell to get to it - Very mixed feelings for this stay. The Host - both the one with whom I communicated on WhatsApp - as well as the lady who met me on the spot to give me the keys, were both very nice. The apartment itself - strictly on the inside, with no mention of what you need to go through to get there - is actually entirely in order: spotlessly clean, and well equipped. That you have a view on both sides of the building, with plenty of sunlight is certainly very nice. The flat is certainly not without its charm! The only really bad thing about this property is that which most other reviews already mention: the sort of people you get to encounter every single time you come home in the evening, and the sort of activities they are used to from their home countries.
Despite its convenience due to the proximity to the train station, the area has in recent years become very dodgy. This very much applies to the building itself also. Basically, nothing looks or sounds as if you are in a civilised European country. This is obviously no fault of the owners, but is a larger European level problem, that relates to unsustainable acceptance of unintegrated (unintegratable?) migrants, which the Termini area has become emblematic of.
I think not even once have I walked to or from the flat without feeling seriously uncomfortable once in the proximity of the building (and I'm a single fit male!). Once inside the building, I initially felt quite unsafe also even locked into the flat, and wondered if any of the goings-on I could hear from the floor neighbours would spill over into the oasis of the flat. I soon realized the floor neighbors (Banghladeshis) were in fact entirely safe and unthreatening , but there's certainly constant loud voice speaking and door-slamming.
A second, more minor complaint has to do with the water temperature in the shower, which constantly fluctuates and means throughout the course of a shower you get multiple chances both to scold and to freeze yourself with the water, if temperature is at a constant setting.
I'm afraid I couldn't recommend this to people who are not very used to severely "multicultural" (euphemism intended) areas, and who know how to respond to verbal and gaze aggression.
- Angel (8/5): Great value for our trip! Christina and Rita were wonderful! Clean comfortable place to stay. - Very very clean!! Affordable and a great value. Loved the private floor with no other units. The lift only goes to the 5th floor and you must carry your luggage up 1 floor by stairs. The neighborhood feels a bit unsafe and I was asked for sexual favors twice!
- Anonymous (8/5): We had a great stay. The unit is newly renovated, clean and accessible. All of our needs were met here and would highly - Staff were so friendly, accessible and accommodating. Check in was easy and they were kind enough to let us leave our bags there while they got the room ready. Washing machine included and that’s super convenient. Location is accessible to the metro so it’s easy to get around. Cristina is a wonderful host. No safety issues around the property, especially if you’re already from a metropolitan city.
The area and building however were really old and poorly maintained. Our room was at the top floor and there seemed to be people living on the roof area (?) who were speaking loudly, making spitting noises that you could clearly hear from the unit. Again nothing unsafe but the location was uncomfortable and starkly different after spending a whole day in the rest of the city. Spending time outside of the room isn’t wasnt pleasant so we just tried to spend time inside or in different neighbourhoods!
- Elizabeth (10/5): It was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again if/when we come back. - Cristina our host was amazing. More than happy to help, checked up on us regularly to make sure everything was OK, which and she was happy to recommend places to go.
Location was right by the Termini station. At first there are what look like a lot of transient people around but no one ever bothers you, they just go about their business and you go about yours. If you are not up for walking great distances it was very handy for the bus. All you had to do was search google maps for wherever you wanted to go and it would tell you the bus to get from the Termini. Also you knew on the way back that the Termini was the last stop so you didn't need to worry about keeping an eye on where to get off.
Obviously you are here to explore Rome but the Termini has great basilica's and ruins to see as well. In fact one of the most amazing we saw of the whole trip was Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore which is literally a 5 min walk from the apartment. There are several supermarkets around, the best one we found was opposite the Basilica. Termini also has some great shops and there are some lovely little places to eat around the back of the apartment should you fancy a rest day. The lift! I am not good with small spaces and that thing was tiny and it looked old...very old! But it worked absolutely fine and I am sure all lifts in apartments in Rome are similar if not the same.
I would've liked to have seen a visitors book where people who had visited before could write their experiences of Rome in, or what bus they found that went here or there, or the best restaurant they had visited... things like that.
- Natalia (8/5): Very nice stay - The aparment is very cozy and well equiped. The location is perfect, nearby train station, bus transfers to the airport, metro station. There is a spacious balcony with a great view over neibourghood buildings. The host waited for us at the apartment to give us the key, the contact with the owners was very good. There was no door between the bedrooms. The elevator was interesting, it went only to 5th floor and to 6th floor where the apartment was we had to go by stairs.
- Päivikki (9/5): Superb - Location. From here, it's easy to go anywhere you want in Rome. The apartment is in the 6th floor, so even though the location is pretty central, there is no street noise.
Excellent communication! Cristina gave us good directions well in advance and really made us feel welcome during our stay.
- Irakli (8/5): Very good -
- Aggelos (4/5): Disappointing - Good distance from popular points of interest 3 out of 5 days elevators brkon down (apartment on 5th flour)
In the entrance I found various people not residents. Even a couple having paid sex...
In general I felt unsafe entering the building
- Petra (9/5): Very pleasant place. - The apartment is new, spacious, well equipped, has good kitchen for basic cooking. We felt very well there and didn't miss anything. There is a small balcony. We appreciated that there was salt, sugar, coffee and tea in disposition. It is close to the center. Good communication with the owner. The only thing I can think of is that it was a bit noisy in the evening.
