• Brianne (10/5): - The property is BEAUTIFUL! Each room is so thoughtfully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. Nea was super welcoming and showed us around the house when we arrived and made us a lovely breakfast out on the terrace! Location is great - parking lot only a short walk and old town is just over the bridge! We would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Berat!

When we had an issue, the hosts fixed it immediately. Limited storage space and the bathroom design meant the services stayed quite wet. When we had a shower, water went everywhere.

Måtte betale kontant og fikk ikke kvittering. Kalt i frokost rommet. Ikke noe ble fikset på rommet på dag nummer to. Ikke fjernet søppel ,selv om vi måtte kaste toalettpapir i søppelkassen.

• Linda (10/5): Two great nights in Gorica. - Looking over the river to Berat, this hotel is a quirky gem in the stunning setting of Gorica. Great hosts and faultless hospitality made our stay here wonderful.
• jekaterina (7/5): - The guesthouse was situated in a very beautiful and traditional area — full of charm and character. Breakfast was served on the second-floor balcony with lovely views over Berat. It was nice to experience a traditional Albanian breakfast in such an authentic setting. Considering the price, it was overall good value for money. The room was extremely small. Although it was advertised as 16 m², the queen room we received was closer to 8–10 m², leaving almost no space to move around. There was no option to have breakfast indoors, which became a bit inconvenient due to the weather and the presence of bees, so we had to eat quickly.

Todo estuvo muy bien!, solo un minimo comentario es que el cesto de basura del baño de nuestras habitacion estaba con desechos de algun huesped anterior. Entendemos que son cosas que pueden pasar. Eso no minima la excelente valoracion que damos al lugar.

• piotr.waw (9/5): 10/10! - Great location! But if you came to Berat by your car in the evening, just take first free parking spot (Camping parking overnight only 400 lek). Hosts are extra-helpfull and very kind. Room nr 3 has windows overlooking the terrace where breakfast was served, but for me it was not a problem. Good breakfast, freshly made with good quality products.

Easier to pay €5 and park nearby

Non c'è posteggio libero nelle vicinanze, solo a pagamento ma senza possibilità di raggiungere la struttura con la macchina. La stanza era molto piccola e il bagno minuscolo, il che va bene per una sola notte, ma per più notti può risultare molto scomodo.

The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The beds were super comfortable, the room spotless, and they were simply adorable. They even helped us park the car and brought us burnt coffee to keep away the wasps. Everything was perfect from start to finish – thank you so much!

• Amanda (9/5): - Lovely guest house. The location is great with lots of places to eat nearby. The walk up from the main carpark is difficult with cases but worth it! This is a unique property with lots of examples of the artists work. The balcony is an added bonus as well. It was lovely to have breakfast however as this is served just outside the bedroom doors it can be a little noisy for light sleepers from 7am.

Værelset var rent og pænt, og der er flot udsigt til byen fra balkonen på 1. Sal. Vi endte med at forlænge opholdet med 2 dage.

• Jean (8/5): Très bon séjour à Berat et très bien accueilli dans cette charmante Guest House ! - L’endroit est très chouette, on a l’impression de loger dans une ancienne maison ottomane. Le petit déjeuner est très bon ! Tout le petit quartier aux alentours est très beau et on y trouve moins de touristes que dans Berat même. L’isolation du fait de l’ancienneté de la maison n’est pas au top et lors du petit déjeuner, vous entendez les autres clients devant votre porte. Mais ce n’est pas du à la faute des responsables de l’établissement.

Maar als er 3 koppels overnachten en rond dezelfde tijd of langer blijven zitten dan moet je wachten voor het ontbijt.

L'accueil est chaleureux Une toute petite fenêtre dans une chambre assez close. C'est sonore d'une chambre à l'autre. Le balcon pour le petit déjeuner est très exigu et la jeune femme a dû presser les premiers pour qu'on puisse prendre notre tour, c'était gênant... Enfin le chemin d'accès est en pente raide, il est très étroit et c'est difficile de se garer

The location is stunning, with a gorgeous view and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was served on a charming little balcony, which made mornings feel extra special. With only four rooms, the whole place feels intimate, quiet, and personal — more like a warm home than a hotel. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for authenticity, comfort, and beauty all in one.

• Jörg (8/5): - Sehr schönes traditionell eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Tolle Skulpturen des Besitzers im ganzen Haus. Kleines, aber sehr gemütliches Familienzimmer. Super Frühstück mit Blick auf Berat. Leider hatte das Zimmer nur ein Fenster in einen schmalen Durchgang. Altes Gemäuer, daher relativ kühl.
• Eddy (10/5): In het huisje van een kunstenaar. - Dit was een prachtig en mooi gelegen huisje van een verdienstelijke beeldhouwer. Alles was kraaknet. Bijzonder rustig en stil en een vervluffend ontbijt met liefde gemaakt. De eigenaar had dichtbij een parkeerplaatsje vrij gehouden voor ons. Je kan er niet met de auto komen of parkeren. Op zich niet zo erg, maar het zou handig zijn mocht dit vermed worden, want in dit smalle straatje weer helemaal achteruit naar beneden is geen walk in the park.

• Judith (10/5): - Wat een geweldig familiehuis. We werden door het echtpaar verwelkomt en gelijk rondgeleid door het mooie trappenhuis en de eetruimte boven. We kregen uitgebreid uitleg over de zelfgemaakte kunstwerken die overal hingen. Heel bijzonder. De kamer was klein maar fijn, het ontbijt met liefde gemaakt. De locatie van het huis kan niet beter: het heeft prachtig uitzicht over de oude stad (terwijl je zelf ook in een oud gedeelte verblijft) en alles te belopen via de oude steegjes.

I really enjoyed staying there however I need to say that the wooden furniture makes a lot of noise. It’s quite tough if you have a light sleep. From downstairs, you can hear all the footsteps.

• Emma (8/5): Fabulous guesthouse - Boutique guesthouse under the shade of the mountain, which was fantastic during the summer heat. Fabulous breakfast spread, although eggs were served cold, I didn't mind. We were the only ones there, so we had the balcony to ourselves to enjoy the beautiful view of the town and watch the sunset. Staff were all lovely and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Free parking which is appreciated. The lady helped us with directions and met us there to escort us to the hotel. Worth noting the parking is actually situated at base of the Gorica foot bridge, to get to the guesthouse is a 5 minute walk up a cobblestone street. Might not be suitable if you have mobility issues or big luggage.

• Lizzie (10/5): Warm helpful hosts and an incredible breakfast! - The stay here was amazing. The family are so attentive and will go above and beyond to help you with your stay. They tried to arrange a taxi for us to a local vineyard and said it was too expensive so offered to drive us themselves. I asked if we could pay for some washing to be done and the daughter offered to do it free of charge. The breakfast was exceptional - a huge spread of freshly prepared local breakfast dishes with a great view up in the balcony. We would recommend everybody to stay here. Nothing.

And the breakfast was exceptional. So considerate & nice. They even came down upon arrival and helped me back to the hotel and made sure I had parking. They truly felt like family and communication was easy I would definitely stay there next time I visit Berat
