• Isaac (10/5): Great place for a solo traveler, I would definitely stay here again - Host was very friendly and responsive; even gave me a drink upon arrival! Property was very clean and tidy. Very good wifi - I took a few business calls and had no issues. It’s a little far from old town, about a 20 minute walk, however there is a bus that runs into old town and the host provided great instructions on utilizing the bus and which bus stop was best. You could also Uber.

• Meredith (10/5): Beautiful location and a superb host. - The location is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood away from all the tourists of old town. I loved the terrace and sat outside for coffee (which the host provided!) every morning, and watched the sunset every night. The host Maria and her brother are so kind and thoughtful. Maria thought of everything I would need and was always just a text message away. Bed is so comfortable, AC is cold, shower has great pressure —- all the things you need in your little home away from. I would absolutely stay here again! There are several steps which can get tiring, but this is everywhere in Croatia!

• Jonette (9/5): Don’t hesitate on this one: it’s superb! - This place is fantastic! From the warm welcome and helpful tips/ info about the area, to the spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated/ designed room with private facilities; you couldn’t ask for more. There is a kettle and a small fridge, a comfy bed, wonderful surrounds, and a phenomenal view of the sea from the sun lounger on the balcony! A late check out and free bag storage were an added bonus. Absolutely superb. There’s nothing didn’t like: it was absolutely wonderful. Just by way of comment for others looking to book: lots of steps to access (which is made clear at booking, and did not bother me in the slightest), 20 min walk into old town (but easy bus access if prefer not to walk), and some back neighbour noise on occasion: pleasant noise, nothing unsavoury, but just to be aware of if you were looking for absolute downtime quiet. I can’t imagine however that there’s possibly anything better: it ticked all the boxes for me!

• Matthew (10/5): If you’re looking to explore Dubrovnik on a solo venture - I definitely recommend - The room was very clean and well presented throughout, with added touches such as tea and coffee, I was even handed a free beer upon arrival! For a solo trip specifically, the location was spot on. Outside the busy old town, yet only a 15 min walk or 5min bus ride away (the bus stop being 1min away), also within reach of Lapad and its beaches. Finally - Maria is a fantastic host, extremely welcoming and friendly, and genuinely cares about your stay and is an excellent communicator. There was nothing about my stay that I didn’t like.

• Dovilė (10/5): Great, cosy spot with warm and welcoming hosts. - The location was great as you have a nice view from the terrace and onlyneed 5 minutes to reach the nearest beach. At the same time it is far enough away from touristy and crowded streets. The host was very accommodating and gave helpful tips to get around the city. Would definitely come back!

• Linda (9/5): Fun in a Serious Job Room - The tiny but cute & well-appointed apartment. The welcoming & hospitable landlady, Maria. The location, a short walk from the old town. The view of the sea. The numerous steps to reach the apartment, which were awkward to get my bag up when I was tired on arrival & caused me some anxiety when I had to leave to catch an early flight & carry my bags down in the middle of the night. However Maria met me at the steps & helped me with my bag when I arrived & there was some lighting when I was leaving in the dark, so it was ok. There were no cooking facilities apart from the kettle.
• Darya (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is the nicest and the most helpful person you ever met. Very friendly, welcoming, amazing communication, lots of tips on what to do, where to eat etc. The place is exactly as pictured. No one else used the "shared terrace" while I was there which was an additional bonus. A walk to the old town is about 25 minutes. There's a bus stop for the bus going to the old town near the apartment, as well as the bus that goes to the main bus station (but this one is not operating on Sundays).

The apartment has a big terrace, where you can sit and enjoy the view! The location is very good between the Old Town of Dubrovnik and the Port. Maria, the host, is very friendly and helpful. She contacted me for confirmation one day before I checked in, just to make sure everything would be fine. My bus arrived about 1.5 hours later than it was scheduled. Maria waited for me until late night. The best room I have ever had during my trip to Croatia this time. Clean and comfy. Things in the room are pretty new.The AC was already on when I arrived, perfect temperature. Super cute cats.

So this is individual airbnb-type room rent, managed by another intermediate platform. They sometimes provide wrong information, and send too many reminders etc. Probably better to directly reach out to the host via phone or whatsapp.

The building is very well located in a close walking distance to the old town of Dubrovnik. Great value for money! Maria, the host, is super nice and helpful, giving all the tips, hints, and advices on how to enjoy the stay the most. When it's super warm outside, she'll always rescue you with a bottle of water ;) It felt like home - and when I'm back to Dubrovnik, I'll definately choose this accomodation once again! Everything was perfect and even exceeded my expectations :) Fully recommended!

She took time to explain everything about the room, the location and recommended me sights to see and restaurants suited to my taste :) can't get more personal than that! The accomodation had a terrace with an amazing view. The room was perfect for a solo traveller and had everything I could need. It was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was great. There was also a kettle to make tea or coffee. Its about a 20-25min walk to the old town depending on your speed. Quite straightforward to get to the Old Town. You can take a uber to the accomodation from the bus terminal, just ensure the driver drops you off at the correct street. • Jd (10/5): Amazing place with the nicest host! - I was welcomed by the friendliest host ever, whom offered me with an ice cold Cedevita after a long and hot day of travelling. She provided me with the best recommendations around the city. My room was ready for check in earlier than expected, and it was clean, comfortable and made me feel at home. Beautiful view from the terrace. On check out, the host offered to let me store my luggage at her house, while I was out exploring Dubrovnik until later the afternoon. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

The room was perfectly clean, it was very comfortable and pleasant. It was quiet and peaceful, I slept well. The hostess Maria was wonderful, she met me, told me about the sights, offered me a soft drink, and was in touch via WhatsApp. Thank you very much for such concern! Everything was wonderful.

When I arrived, Maria welcomed me with the warmest smile and the freshest thirst-quenching drink. She helped me with my luggage, introduced her lovely city to me and recommended some places I could visit given my short stay in Dubrovnik, which was way too short and frankly did not do this place justice. She was super welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. The room is exactly as described and it had everything I needed. It's only 20 min away from the Old Town and in a very calm location. The room was very clean and the bathroom/shower was really fresh. The AC was good and it was convenient with a small fridge in the room. I wish my stay in Dubrovnik was longer than just over the weekend and when I come back, I will definetely contact Maria and stay here again. • Dawid (10/5): Exceptional - Localization within walking distance of all major attractions like Old Town, Gruz Port, lots of beaches around Lapad... and if someone does not like walking, there was also a bus station nearby. Room was little, but comfy with all appliences working well. The large tarrace for seaside was a great addition, even tough part of the view was blocked by other buildings. Overall it fullfiled all expectations for such reasonable price 10 stars for super friendly and very helpfull hostess that gave many usefull tips for the stay. Mattress on bed a little too soft.

I had the best sleep here. Nice view from the terrace. A shop not far away where you can get some food. Not far from the old city, you can take bus no.4 or simply walk here from the old city if you are strong enough haha. Highly recommend this place.

• Aleksandra (10/5): Fantastic room for solo traveler - Matea is a wonderful and kind host. She made me feel right at home and looked after me in the best possible way. I was given a lot of useful information and tips about the local area, Old Town, Lokrum Island and Lapad beach. She also gave me a list of all the recommended places to get something to eat depending on the type of place/area/budget. The room was great, clean and in great condition. The location is good, close proximity to the Old Town as well as the beaches of Lapad. I only wish I could stay longer! Thank you Matea and I hope we meet again one day. ♥️

The bed was SO comfy Small detail for people like me who need to sleep in complete darkness and I acknowledge henceforth it's my problem: a dark curtain on the door would have been helpful I managed just grabbing a thick sheet and hanging it in the door :😀

• Meesh_elle (10/5): A real family welcome in the most stunning location. - You're not greeted by staff here, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming family. I loved the opportunity to meet and spend time with Croatians and find more about what life is really like there. The two sisters could not have been more helpful or kind and I really enjoyed my glass of orange juice and chat in the shade when I arrived! The room is quite private, set in the gardens of the family house, and has its own air conditioning. Everything was spotless and well thought out. The location is in a quiet residential area and there are beautiful views over Dubrovnik. The only warning I have is that it's a long uphill walk back from the old town or really anywhere - I didn't mind this at all as that's just how Dubrovnik is, but it wouldn't be ideal for someone who had mobility or health issues.

There is a small refrigerator with freezer, kettle, plates, mugs and cutlery as well as cotton sticks and pads for your disposal. The terrace has a beautiful sea/city view. Location is also great. It’s 25 minutes walk from the city center, 20 minutes walk from the port and just 10 minutes walk from my favorite beach in Dubrovnik. Shops and bakery are just 5 minutes walking distance. The host is a very nice and helpful lady. I highly recommend to stay here and will definitely book again.

They welcomed me with open arms and Maria was extremely careful to give me suggestions and recommendations and we communicated throughout my trip! the room is fantastic , minimal and modern and very clean! I cannot rate this room high enough especially if you are traveling solo or as a couple! Maria and her sister were the best hosts I could have wished for! thank you again for everything and I cannot wait to be back!

• Maria (10/5): Very clean room, absolutely lovely hosts <3 - Everything was very clean, there is a much needed AC and the owners are literally the nicest people ever! They’re so accommodating, helpful, just such a decent family! You need to climb a million stairs every time you’re coming back from the old town if you’re going by foot but I think that’s the case with every place in Dubrovnik
