• Ivan (10/5): Savršeno za miran san nakon svih uzbuđenja po Napulju. - Smeštaj je pravi spomenik kulture, u centru dešavanja, i u smeštaju je mirno iako je u blizini restorana i kafića. Stepenice su visoke, ali svestan sam da je reč o gradnji od pre nekoliko vekova.

• Schoenenberger (7/5): - Endroit calme malgré sa localisation très centrale. Avec beaucoup de cachet. Il ne faut pas négliger les 4 étages et le fait que l'on se trouve dans une rue piétonne. Un taxi ne peut pas vous déposer. Pour nous de n'était pas un problème. La cuisine n'est pas équipée pour 4 personnes pour cuisiner. Un torchon pour nettoyer et sécher les ustensiles et du produit vaisselle seraient utiles.

• EMMANUEL (10/5): Un logement plein de charme - L'emplacement est exceptionnel au coeur du quartier historique. C'est un ancien palais avec beaucoup de charme ! Nous étions dans la suite à 2 chambres : 1 avec un lit double, l'autre avec 2 lits simples. La déco a du charme, les plafonds sont hauts. Le logement est très calme et il y a 2 climatisation s.

• Liane (7/5): Central Naples stay - Space in apartment was good; middle of historic centre, bars and restaurants close by; quick, polite response from the owner when we arrived in Naples; easy check-in and able to leave bags straight away; comfortable beds; bright apartment; views to the street. Iron and ironing board provided, hairdryer too and small soaps. Needs some tlc. In particular, some furniture needs to be replaced - dining room chairs (see pics), armchair in bedroom also. No door handle on dishwasher, left in drawer and could easily have been replaced. Hoover was blocked and bags didn't fit so unusable. Very steep stairs up to 4th floor- although this is mentioned. No soundproofing from apartment above. Smelly main bathroom and 2nd bathroom toilet stopped filling on last day but sure it would've been fixed quickly if we had reported it.

• Steph (3/5): Not ideal - Located right in the heart of the vibrant old town, in a quaint enclosed quadrangle. Quirky bathroom and nice old fashioned features in the room The bedsheets were poorly fitting and came off every night. We agreed that no housekeeping was to occur during our stay, however one morning while we were in the midst of an intimate moment someone tried to enter the room. On telling the owner we had a brief apology for the interruption. The morning of our departure, 20 minutes before the checkout time, the staff again came to the door and came in, attempting to remove the laundry while our luggage and items were still on the bed. It left us feeling completely violated by the experience of staying here.

• Michael (3/5): - La posizione è fantastica, il palazzo stesso è imponente. Al piano seminterrato si trova l'Ospedale delle Bambole, una tappa imperdibile per i bambini (e gli adulti). Le stoviglie negli armadi non sono state pulite al nostro arrivo. Dei tre giorni che abbiamo trascorso lì, il riscaldamento non ha funzionato per due giorni (Il custode ci ha detto che il proprietario ne era a conoscenza fin dall'inizio.). Non era possibile usare una delle docce perché l'acqua finiva subito sul pavimento. Ciò che ci ha infastidito di più è che il custode è entrato nell'appartamento tre volte senza preavviso e senza suonare il campanello. Ho segnalato tutto questo al proprietario, sperando invano di ottenere un risarcimento o uno sconto per questi evidenti e gravi difetti. La terrazza sul tetto pubblicizzata su booking.com non era utilizzabile.

• Brigita (10/5): Beautiful old school Italian chambers! - Great location! I felt like I was living in the heart of Naples! The room itself is an old school, but I loved it! The building itself, amazing! Beautiful courtyard and ceiling in the courtyard a piece of art itself. I didn’t mind, but bare in mind the building is on a busy street and it felt like it never goes sleep! I loved it

• Felicity (8/5): A fairytale made real. - Amazing location right in the heart of everything. Stunning building, across from an amazing cafe. The atmosphere was worth every € paid. The apartment is large and comfortable and the historic building is like stepping into a fairytale . A quick fix of the shower is necessary. If you are in anyway mobility impaired this is not the stay for you . You do have to lug suitcases up and down an ancient stone staircase … it was no problem for us but please consider if it will be for you.

Il n'y a que 2 chaises, 2 fourchettes, 3 tasses à thé..., donc parfait pour 2, c'est moins évident de cuisiner si vous réservez pour 4. Bruit direct de la cage d'escalier quand quelqu'un monte ou descend.

It would be better to try and clean the bathroom better ( the toilet for example ) and change the shower phone cause it was broken. Maybe also to put an extra garbage disposal cause the only one was in the bathroom.

• Sylvie (8/5): Merveilleux emplacement, bel édifice avec terrasse, ne pas avoir peur des escaliers (90 marches!). - L'emplacement était génial, en plein centre historique, et au calme malgré tout car un peu en retrait dans le bâtiment. Somptueuse terrasse sur le toit. Le propriétaire très réactif pour changer quelque chose de cassé si besoin. L'équipement de la cuisine est minimal. Il n'y a pas de théière, pas de four, à peine un verre par personne, 4 tasses à thé au total, idem pour les tasses à café.

• Lorenzo (1/5): Meglio evitare sporco e poco professionale - La posizione e le dimensioni dell'appartamento Non è stato possibile lavarsi visto che non funzionava l'acqua calda, i lenzuoli del letto erano sporchi e bucati, il pavimento risultava polveroso, le stoviglie e gli utensili di cucina erano sporchi. Infine, l'assistenza è solo online quindi se avrete problemi non si presenterà nessuno.

Llegar a la habitación pareció un scape room pero gracias a las intrucciones con video incluido, se hizo facil. Las camas eran realmente comodas y la habitacion estaba muy limpia. La ducha estaba un poco sucia y se inundaba inmediatamente abrias el agua :(

The property had damage on the ceiling, broken windows, rotten wood, toilet seats broken, dirty dishes and cupboards. The bathroom floor and shower head were disgusting.
• Melissa (5/5): It was a unique opportunity to stay in an historic building. - The hotel is in a very old historic building and the facade of the building is quite stunning. The bed was comfortable with good pillows. The location was amazing - right in the Centre of the historic area. Lots of restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance. Lots of things to see close by. The room could have been cleaner and the shower didn’t drain very well. No staff available on site to assist.

• susan (5/5): Great location but apartment needs a bit of maintenance - The apartment was very spacious and the location was excellent for a 1st time stay in Naples I felt the property hadn't been cleaned properly, the shower was dirty, the chairs in the dining area needed scrubbed too and the doors were covered in fingerprints, glasses in the cupboard hadn't been cleaned properly either. The shower was terrible and needs replaced and something done to fix the water pressure, it ran hot then cold, hard then barely there, it wasn't pleasant and my son (12) actively avoided using it. I am not an overly fussy person at all and would normally never complain but I felt I had to let people know that they might be disappointed due to the lack of upkeep

• Jodie (9/5): Lovely apartment. Would stay here again. - The location is great, it’s lively, there is some noise at night. This didn’t bother us but it may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of space. Love the doors that overlook the street. Naples isn’t for everyone but I really enjoyed it and this location was great to step out and wander the shops/cafes etc. Would stay again. Host was also responsive and helpful. The shower had a little discolouration, everything generally very clean but if there was room for improvement would say that’s it.

The owner was responsive to questions. Finding the location was difficult, even with the video provided by the owner. We didn't realize that there would be a flight and a half of stairs that we would need to carry our heavy bags up/ down to access to the room. We felt a little unsafe in the area at night.

• Judith (7/5): Great Location but Service Needs Improvement - We recently stayed at Palazzo Marigliano (at Memini room) located right on Spaccanapoli in the heart of Naples' historic center. The location was absolutely perfect—very central and ideal for exploring Naples on foot. Despite being in such a busy area, our room was surprisingly quiet as it faced the inner courtyard. The concierge, Giampaolo, was extremely friendly and helpful, which made our arrival very pleasant. However, there were some issues with the room and overall service that detracted from our stay. Unfortunately, we found cobwebs on the ceiling and lint on the walls of our room. Additionally, the drains in both the sink and shower were clogged. In the common area, we noticed that the coffee machine had not been descaled or emptied upon our arrival, and there were no coffee capsules available. The tray where the machine was placed was also dirty. We reported these issues to the hotel management via WhatsApp, as there is no staff on-site, and also requested two extra pillows. The next day, the drainage issue was resolved, and the coffee capsules were restocked, but we received no response or acknowledgment from the management about our other concerns. Our request for additional pillows was ignored, and the cobwebs remained on the ceiling throughout our stay. This lack of communication and attention to detail was disappointing. While the location and Giampaolo’s kindness were highlights, the overall service left much to be desired. With better housekeeping and more attentive management, this hotel could offer a much better experience.
• Julien (7/5): Good - The location in Naples is great, the building is beauiful. We didn't meet any host, but the communication by messages was nice and efficient. We missed a table and a couple of chairs! we missed a kettle with the minimum tea&coffee, and we missed the daylight

The host is amazing and made check in very easy with his instructions, considering the busy street we still found the place pretty easily. The shower is pretty small. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are pregnant or a larger person.

• Amanda (8/5): Beautiful apartment right in the centre of the old town. Fabulous roof terrace, and - Loved the apartment. Beautiful style. Spacious and comfortable. The roof terrace is amazing and so welcome after a day of sight seeing. Great location right in the heart of the Centro historico, with great restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s a historic palazzo which is absolutely beautiful, however, as a consequence there isn’t a lift so it’s a lot of steps up to the apartment, but we were prepared for that.

Fascinated by the ‘feel at home’ vibe, fully equipped bathrooms and kitchen and with ready to use beach accessories. The apartment is close to the beach, train station, center, in the middle of restaurants. The host is very kind, funny and with tips and tricks for an affordable holiday. I would like to come again to Edo Apartment, to have breakfast every morning on one of the two balconies (which btw has piano background music from a very talented neighbor)

It was a little difficult to find, even with the video that described the location, but we did find it. At one point the wifi stopped working but they came and fixed it. Would have loved it if it had a small fridge.

• Fiona (8/5): Perfect for fit people wanting something different and a real historic sense of place in old Naples. - The Benedetto Croce apartment was on the top floor of the Palazzo with lovely views from all 3 windows across the rooftops to the Bay of Naples and Sorrento in the distance. The apartment was stylishly furnished with both antique and modern furniture and it was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was effective. The location, in the heart of the historic centre, was within walking distance of the central station, ferries and historic sights, for those who don't mind a 15-20 minute walk. Although the pedestrian street below the apartment is busy into the evening, the windows are double-glazed and no noise disturbed us. There's a small supermarket, a pizza takeout and lots of eateries close by. Enrico was very helpful sorting out a small issue with one of the keys. Overall, staying in this traditional apartment really added to our sense of place and enhanced our excellent stay in Naples. There were one or two small pieces of kitchen equipment that we suggested to Enrico might be added for the benefit of future guests (e.g. a small sharp knife for cutting tomatoes and fruit). There were about 80 stone steps up to the apartment, some of them quite steep. We are fit and only had small suitcases so it wasn't an issue, but prospective guests should take note - there's no lift! Palazzo Marigliano is described as "Serviced Apartments" - in our view this description is inaccurate and should be removed - there's no lift service, no concierge service, no cleaning service during your stay, no breakfast service and no laundry service. Ours was a regular holiday apartment, but stylish and in a palazzo.
• Doireann (9/5): Superb - Good location in the historic center away from the seediest areas close to the station. Spacious. Air conditioning worked very well. Having a kitchen was very convenient for a relaxing stay, especially with kids who like to eat breakfast in their pajamas. Check in was very straightforward. There was no dish soap, and the paper towels had almost run out. These are minor inconveniences, but it is nice not to have to stock up on these things, especially in a short stay (yes, we really did use the kitchen). Also, by the way: there is only one apartment in the Palazzo Marigliano apartments with access to a roof terrace. The property website is very clear about this, but the booking.com reviews can be a bit misleading on this point.

• Sam (7/5): Nice stay in historical district - close to central station - Close to central station and I liked the plaza area that the room was located in. The bed was nice and comfy and the room was spacious. There was a small fridge that could hold a couple drinks and access to a kettle and coffee machine. The stairs to carry our luggage up were a little annoying but we were warned of this before booking. Be aware that taxis will not drive up to the gate of the plaza so you will have to take your luggage through the busy cobblestone street.
