• Gideon (10/5): We loved everything about our stay, and were genuinely sad to check out. - The million dollar view of the city is absolutely spectacular, especially from the vantage point of the Infinity pool. The bed was sooooo comfy,. Host is pleasant and accommodating. Honestly, everything about the property almost felt too good to be true, like we were just dreaming. But fortunately, it wasn't a dream — it was a dream come true! If we could give an 11/10, we would. Given how amazing everything was, we had to dig hard to come to with anything that wasn't completely perfect. That said, the amazingly comfortable bed was a little low to the ground for someone my height (6'5"). Again... Don't let that stop you! You'd be missing out for sure.

• Sebastian (10/5): Loved it. Could not help but be attached to the apartment from day 1 :-) - The private room really exceeded our expectations. The location was spectacular and really provided a panoramic mountain view. The patio was clean and had a nice pool in there..I wish we used it but the weather wasn’t as it’s best but I can imagine how amazing it would be when the weather is warm. The apartment was very clean and organised. The facilities such as the bathroom was again very clean and everything was working properly, the bed was so super comfortable along with the ambience of the surroundings that made it easier to sleep. Location and the security system made us feel safe throughout. All in all we had such a good experience in Vista Bliss Retreat-Private Room..and I wished we stayed there longer. Felix and his team has been very accommodating and most of the part understanding with our flexibility. If you like luxury and affluence for any time of break..then I strongly recommend this. I will be visiting again when I am back in LA. It’s definitely non applicable.

• Rob (1/5): Not at all what we thought it would be - We liked that it was in the Hollywood Hills. We got to see really cool houses driving up, location was nice and convenient. We were really disappointed with our stay. Based on the photos and description, we expected a quiet, private retreat with access to a beautiful, heated pool. Instead, it turned out to be the most unpleasant part of our trip. When we arrived, it took nearly two hours to get the internet working. The TV remote didn’t work properly, and once we finally got something to play, the TV shut off on its own. After a long day of travel, we were hoping to relax—but instead we spent our time troubleshooting. The listing gave the impression that the space would be private, but that was not the case. On the first night, a woman and two young children were staying in one of the other rooms. She even walked by and looked directly into our room, making us feel uncomfortable. Later, she and another guest were smoking weed and cigarettes by the pool, which we had to pass to get to our car. Because of that, we didn’t feel comfortable using the pool or enjoying the outdoor space at all. Sleeping was also difficult. There were only two pillows, the bed was extremely firm, and the room was uncomfortably hot. We had paid for two nights but couldn’t wait to leave. On the second night, a different couple had checked into the other room—something that was never mentioned in the listing. This stay fell far short of what was advertised. The lack of privacy, poor communication about shared spaces, and general discomfort made it a place we would not recommend or return to.

• Mathias (10/5): Superbe séjour - La vue juste incroyable pour le prix ! Nous avons vraiment adoré. Endroit très safe et à quelques minutes de Hollywood bld.. La piscine est parfaite Je recommande +++ Petit point faible pas mal de bruit le soir avec un piano juste au dessus de la chambre quand vous avez passé une grosse journée et vous souhaitez vous reposé c’est compliqué. Le frigo fait beaucoup de bruit.
• Späthi (7/5): Unbezahlbarer Blick aber hellhörig und einsichtig. - Die Lage ist einfach ein Traum! Der Blick in die Hollywood Hills und auf die Stadt ist absolut unbezahlbar! Das Zimmer ist recht groß und mit einer Couch, einer Kaffeemaschine ausreichend ausgestattet. Es war leider sehr hellhörig. Der Pool und auch das Badezimmer waren zwar sauber, könnten aber auch eine Renovierung vertragen. Die anderen Gäste und die Anwohner waren zum Glück sehr freundlich, denn sie gingen direkt an unserem Zimmer vorbei und Türen grenzen an die anderen Zimmer. Dennoch hat der Blick alles wieder gut gemacht! :o)

• Adam (9/5): It is all about the view! Simply incredible - It is all about the view! Simply incredible. The room we stayed in was fine. Nothing fancy if that is what you’re looking for. We needed something and it was brought to us in short order. If there is anything at all, the shower was meh.

It would have been nice if the heat was on before we arrived. The room was cold, and it took awhile for the heater to make it comfortable. Need to replace burnt-out light bulbs on the nightstand lamps. Locking the room door from the inside should have instructions posted (tip: lift the handle up and turn the lock). The carted TV was inconvenient, so we never used it. It'd be better mounted on the wall.
• Bernard (7/5): Good - Great location with a wonderful view over LA. Comfortable and clean room. This is a guest room with independent access in a house on the hills overlooking LA. When we arrived there was no-one to meet us. After calling and a wait someone appeared and let us in. That was the only time we met someone there during our three day stay.

The room was not cleaned,  1, Those coffee cups were not washed.  2, I found stranger's hairs in bathroom and in the bed and pillows...! I wondered if they didn't even change the bed sheets. 3, Furnitures were covered in dust totally, so I wiped them by kitchen paper. (They didn't set even Kleenex in the room. )  At the patio,  1, Sofa and table were also dirty, looked like they were never cleaned.  2, There was a monitoring camera, I understand it because of the pool, but that camera also can monitor inside of our room if we didn't close curtain. 3, Heating the pool costs 100 $.  4, They turned off the outdoor light around 11:30 PM, just like it's time to go bed.  5. I got a bit cut my feet by the edge of pool, better not bring kids to this pool.  AS for the noise of piano playing some customers mentioned, that is true, it started and was not beautiful piano play, I can say that it was uncomfortable noise. I wonder why they open their window during that piano play time.

• Louisa (10/5): Breathtaking view - Vista Bliss Retreat Privat Room is a wonderfull accommodation with a breathtaking view over LA. Its a 5 minute drive down to Sunset Blvd. and yet it is very quit and calm. We loved sitting outside and just enjoying the view. The check-in was easy.

Perfect Location: Just a 10 minute walk to the best part of the Sunset strip, starting at Chateau Marmont. Did I mention the amazing views yet? Felix, the owner, was really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended! Nothing.
• Johannes (10/5): Fantastic, relaxed get-away with a movie-feel - The location of this place is absolutely perfect. Not only because of the amazing view, but also as it is super close to Hollywood Boulevard - we went to see Dune Pt 2 in the Chinese Theater, only an 8 minute drive! There is also plenty of food and other things a short drive away. But at the same time, the place itself is in a quiet area, with barely any traffic. The host has been fantastic, really great in handling a few packages we had. Seriously appreciated. There were other guests we've seen but haven't interacted with. The room is spacey and very nicely furnished, everything beautiful and high quality. A great shower, huge windows to enjoy the view outside and a great, big bed - large enough to get list in. Then the patio with the pool - the pictures say it well enough... There is some nice seating, enjoyable in the morning sun. The sun rise is wonderful, sunset is behind the mountain so a bit less to see ;-) The 'worst' was that the glass shower door doesn't stay closed but it's not a problem as the water doesn't spat out. And there aren't any breakfast places in walking distance - you'll have to get in the car or use delivery. The room has a fridge and coffee machine but nothing for tea drinkers (sadly) and no microwave or toaster.

• Ju-hae (10/5): Away from DT hustle, stay at a oasis on the hill. - The view is just indescribable! The house is located on the uphill of the Beverly Hills and we could look down the whole L.A. from the balcony. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night here and we wished we could stay longer and even would use the pool. The room was decorated with nice design lamps and sofa. The bed!!! The bed was such a comfy bed - I would say the best bed I have ever slept in. Even the house owner was staying together because of the separate entrance we didn't feel much. Felix responded always very fast and friendly. Communication was really good. I recommend here really a lot. (Thank you Felix !!) We had a car so it was possible to reach. Without a car, it is impossible to come and go from here. On the day we stayed the weather was quite cold and the room. We used the AC to warm up the room. So I wished to have a kettle. But at the end the view and the owner's kindness forgave all the small points..
