• Carolina (9/5): A Wonderful stay. Highly recommended - We had an exceptional stay at Modern and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The apartment is beautifully decorated, extremely cozy, and absolutely spotless. It truly has every amenity you could think of—hair dryers in each bathroom, toiletries, a washing machine, and thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water. There are also convenient shops just a couple of blocks away, perfect for picking up groceries if you want to cook. We were aware of the stairs beforehand, so they weren’t an issue for us—and for anyone familiar with the Amalfi Coast, this climb is only about a third of what you’d normally expect! A very special mention goes to Hamdi, the host’s assistant. He is warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. Even with the language barrier, he made everything clear and ensured we were fully settled and comfortable. He met us when we arrived and when we left, helping with our luggage both times, and he was available whenever needed. Truly outstanding hospitality. The location is excellent—just steps from the Osmanbey Metro station and a short walk from the trendy Nişantaşı district, full of cafés, restaurants, and boutiques. The only small suggestion I would make is to provide a simple local map to help guests get oriented more quickly. We were two women traveling together and felt completely safe at all times. Everyone we encountered in the neighborhood was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. One tip for future travelers: the nearby bank’s ATMs charge a steep $25 commission fee. You might want to bring some cash for small purchases or use ATMs at the metro instead, which we were told offer better rates. Credit cards are widely accepted, but the exchange rate isn’t always ideal. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this apartment without hesitation. A wonderful experience from start to finish! This was not an issue for us, but there is no elevator in the building and we were helped to bring the bags up and down. But if you have mobility problems, it may be an issue.

Beautiful home away from home :) - Truly amazing apartment, with a very nice location (walking distance from metro station, main road where it’s easy to get a taxi, shopping area, big shopping mall (10min walking), lots of places to eat). The apartment itself is very new, clean, spacious, beautiful in all the details and looks exactly like on the pictures. We were quite impressed with all the amenities available, felt like we’re staying in 5 star hotel. Yalcin (the host) is very nice and helpful, it feels like he actually cares a lot about his guests and their stay in his apartment. I would honestly rate this place even more than 10/10, we loved our stay here and wish to come back in the future. Thank you so much! Everything was beyond expectations.
