Dr Pat (7/5): Old Colonial Style hotel for those who likes to staycation - The old school style of the hotel, however we think it is a bit too old Although the location is central, it is quite far from the underground train station, needs to walk about 1.7km to reach, not so accessible to restaurants or pubs, the street behind looks vibrant, but the restaurants food are very normal

r. (10/5): A great luxury hotel to stay in, in Wuhan! - Terrific hotel in a great location. Staff was very helpful in all matters. Our rooms overlooked the river so we saw the amazing evening light show. I'd happily stay there any time. They provide the best breakfast buffet I've ever had. It may be an upcharge on your room (check with the front desk) but I assure you it is well worth it! Chinese and Western food, very well-made!

Wan (9/5): Unique experience beside river - Magnificent view of the Yangtze River (Changjiang) from my room, which was part of my lovely memory of the city of Wuhan. The room was spacious and cozy. Staff was very hospitable and caring. The river bank park is just next to the hotel, which is definitely worth a visit for the many aspects of local life and river view. Need a bit of walk to / from subway, but it didn't matter as taxi fare was cheap.
Jeffrey (8/5): excellent location and wonderful staff. - location was perfect. staff was excellent. There was no ATM which for international travelers was a big issue. Knowing that Covid put a big strain on expenses I hope they can address the cleanliness of the rooms. To be a 5 star rugs should be replaced with tile. The furniture should be cleaned to remove stains. The carpet and chairs in our room had many ugly stains which is something I wouldn’t expect for 5 star.

Chris_the_cool_cat (9/5): Best location to discover Wuhan - The location is outstanding along the Yangtze river, in the old British/French/Russian concessions of Wuhan. There is a nice pedestrian area nearby, with a lot of cafes and small shops. From the hotel it is easy to travel by taxi to the main attractions. If possible, pick a room with a view on the river side, the night light show is fantastic. The breakfast is really offering a lot of choice, for all tastes. The swimming pool was still closed... Sorry but the COVID-19 restrictions are gone, this needs to be corrected promptly. The decoration of the room starts to be old fashioned. A refresh would be necessary.
