- Adrian (10/5): Lovely stay, would absolutely recommend! - The beds were comfortable and clean, the communal area has a very good vibe, the location is prime, and the host makes you feel right at home! No issues at all.
- Elaihar (10/5): I had a great stay in Constantine and le Rhumel hostel! It’s perfectly located nearby all the touristy spots and clean! - I had a great stay in Constantine and le Rhumel hostel! It’s perfectly located nearby all the touristy spots and clean!

- Salim-A (9/5): Backpacking experience in Algeria - Great location and friendly owner No lockers (yet) in the rooms
- Albert (7/5): -
- Mynor (10/5): - Amazing new location!
Very clean and supper friendly staff :)
- Adrian (10/5): Nice place - Great location, at the city centre with a view of cable car and bridge. Rumi was a very nice host, this is her latest property and she has lots of plans for it. Room and shower is spacious. Heating in common area is always on, so you will always come back to a cozy home.

- Mechedal (10/5): - As all of my stays in Hostel Le Rhumel, I loved everything for Romy's welcoming to the sad departure. Nothing negative, anly positive vibes !
- Ferhat (9/5): Konforlu eğlenceli iki gün geçirdim - Tam bir ev ortamı. Bahçesi bile var. Personel çok iyi. Metro ile geldikten sonra biraz yürümek gerekiyor. Kışın soğuk, odada ısıtıcı var.
- Akram (1/5): In some places there is always a place for improvement, but with this mentality the stuff has I don’t believe so ( you c - Nothing was as what I paid for , I don’t encourage anyone to try it as it’s super unsafe especially for girls The property is a bad representation of what is it like being in Algeria , in a very bad area of Constantine there is no heating or AC the stuff is so rude and they clearly don’t understand what is the check in and checkout time
Your comfort is not their priority and on top of that they have a weird complex toward couples even if you rent in the mixed room they will ask you to change the room there , if you want to rent there I strongly advise you not to because it will not be so pleasant and Constantine has way more to offer then this .
- Daniel (10/5): - Anfel is very friendly and helpfull!
- Mechedal (10/5): Green Space - Everything is great, from rhe Welcoming to the departure 🙏.
Thank you 😎 Nothing !

- Hatem (10/5): - Excellent location and facilities, very nice staff, highly recommend All was great
- Ziyu (9/5): - Anfel is very nice, thanks to know you!!!
- Khalil (10/5): It was a cozy atmosphere, it felt like a second home. - I had such a wonderful stay here, and I can’t thank the owners enough for their genuine hospitality and professionalism. They truly make you feel at home. The location is unbeatable, being so close to the tram made it incredibly easy to hop over to the Cirta museum, Ahmed Bey palace, restaurants and the famous bridges downtown. Also, do yourself a favor and try the local breakfast for a few extra euros,it’s worth trying.
- Janek (9/5): -
- Bernd (10/5): - Nice and clean place, everything in a very good condition, thanks for all the help. A little bit far from everything, near airport 1km from tram.

- Kelly (2/5): Absolutely worst place ever stayed - I liked that I left early and didn't complete the booking. I do not believe any of the positive reviews about this accommodation. I arrived at night using the transfer that the owner said was the best value (they charged 3x the actual rate). It is located off a dirt road in a derelict half built building. I was truly scared to exit the car. There aren't locks on bedroom doors and no lockers so there is no way to secure your belongings. The place was dirty. Food, hair and dirt in all the beds. Kitchen had cigarettes, food and dishes everywhere. I was booked to stay 3 nights and left after 10hrs it was so bad. Then the harassment from the owner began. Threats and lies for the next 3 days. Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE. Unfortunately, the video is took of won't upload.
- Nafissatou (9/5): - Anfel was very kind and helpful. She spent the day outing with me.
I also liked cooking at the Hostel it makes me feel at home.
I will come back and I recommend it 😘 Do not walk alone in the night as a woman
- Ryuhei (1/5): Very rude hotel - Hot shower The staff gave me incorrect directions to the Roman ruins, neglected to clean the bathroom and blamed me for the flooding, and demanded compensation for the broken key because they didn't teach me how to open it properly. It was a really terrible hotel.
- Stefan (9/5): - Staff is very nice, place is cosy including living room and outdoor area, breakfast is delicious A bit far away from the centre but manageable with the tramway
- Mohamed raouf (7/5): -
- Owen (10/5): - Parfait

- Ainura (8/5): It was safe, quiet, nice place with access to the Tram . - I have extensive travel experience and travel on a budget. I often stay in hostels around the world, even on the outskirts of the city, as long as there's access to public transportation.
The hostel is located on the outskirts, a bit away from residential buildings. There's a large detached house, and the hostel is sort of to the left of the house. This might initially seem inconvenient and unsafe, but it turns out it's not at all.
How to get there: Even if Google Maps shows the hostel's location immediately, many drivers and taxis don't use Google Maps. It might be specific to the region and they need a different explanation. My advice: have roaming data so you can connect the driver with the hostel owner so she can explain the location. Or find someone who speaks English or French who can help explain the location to the driver. Or install an app that works in the region. Or ask the hostel owner to write detailed directions to the hostel in Arabic or French so you can show the driver. Once you've settled in, you can generally get into town on your own without any problems. The tram, which runs almost every 5-10 minutes, is a 10-minute walk from the hostel. I felt comfortable even returning in the evening. No one was annoying and everyone was polite.
The hostel is very small, with 8 people, but cozy. There are just two rooms, one for men and one for women. It has everything you need: hot water, good internet, a small kitchen, a lounge area/room, and a dining area.
I stayed for three nights, and it was quiet and comfortable.
The hostel owner is a woman, so I'd especially like to support women's businesses.
Special thanks to Anfel, the hostel attendant. There's no full-time person at the hostel, but she's always available and speaks English.
- Mart (10/5): - Lovely hostel and great place to meet other travellers in Constantine. The host is very helpful and friendly. Its location is a bit outside the city center, but easily accessible by tram.

- Tiago (10/5): -
- Rachid (10/5): Great stay in a great city -
- laoubi (10/5): -
Lieu super calme
- Havard (9/5): I had a great time there, although it’s a bit far from the center, you cn catch a cheap tram easily - The host is very nice and always there to help you in anyways International and chill vibe
- Kamil (10/5): -
- Lukas Georg (10/5): - Lovely place, lovely host :))
-Relaxed and green area on the outskirts. Taxi to center 1.50-2 euros.
-Really close to airport and 4am checkin was easily arranged.
-Comfy beds with curtains.
-Nice little kitchen with fridge to use for everyone.
Such a nice place!!! Perfect to chill or explore the city!!
- Gzing (8/5): Great owner, pleasure to stay in Algeria’s first hostel - The owner of the hostel was so helpful and kind. Beds were comfy, nice little common room. It’s a little walk to the tram station but it is easy to get into the city centre from there, it is also a few stations away from shared taxi stand and the airport which is convenient!
There was difficulty getting to the property with the taxis but it’s not the hostel’s fault.
- Katiravan (7/5): Good -
- Mohd (9/5): cute and clean house - the house was clean and. walking distance to tramway station, restaurants, cafes and convenience store. the owner is very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank her for helping me with lots of information about the city and public transportation. -
- Roman (10/5): cozy place, fantastic value for money - beautiful place, nicely decorated, an oasis outside of city center, like on the countryside, friendly and very helpful host
fantastic value for the price location might be for some disadvantage, but there are uber-like taxi service and 15 mins walk there is tram stop,
one bathroom might be crowded in the morning when hostel is full
- Mateusz (9/5): Superb - The hostel is a really cozy place, located on the outskirts of Constantine, in close proximity to the airport - which you can reach for little money using an app on your mobile phone. The sisters managing the hostel were friendly - it was pleasure to stay here, they try to keep the facility clean and tidy. The bed in the room was comfortable. Thank you, greetings from Poland The room lacked lockers - important, for travellers with luggage, there was no hot water in the bathroom and there was a problem draining it - also important. The lack of breakfast was not a problem, there are several places nearby where you can have breakfast and a good coffee.
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was fine. Nice owner. Close to the airport.
- Daniel (9/5): Lovely Hostel in Constantine - Fabulous hostel, Romy is an excellent host, very helpful and friendly. The hostel has a comfortable common areas and nice beds, and is in a quiet area of the city. I would recommend if you’re looking for an affordable option in Constantine! Location - it's a bit far from the centre, but there is a tram station about 20 min walk away that will take you there.
- Valentijn (10/5): Exceptional - Romy is a very kind and welcoming host. She gave us tips on where to go and we also celebrated new years eve together. We highly recommend staying at her place! Greetings from The Netherlands!🫶
- Gaffa (10/5): Exceptional - I have never felt so welcomed
I felt like home spending the night with my family.I was on a solo trip on my motorcycle from far away about 1500 km tunisia kairouan.the owner welcomed me and made sure I had everything I need to be comfortable.especially when you find fun people to be around.me and the residents and the owner spent the night talking.
- Badr (9/5): Superb - the host and the guests N/A
- Yuying (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed here for two nights. The host Romy was so nice, who helped me communicate with the taxi driver to tell him the precise address. The room is very comfy with many plants outside and cute little decorations inside. I had a very good conversation with Romy. She is really a good friend. She made my trip in Algeria more beautiful.
- Luciano (10/5): Exceptional - The 1st hostel in Algeria deserves a 5 star review. The owner is talkative, always available, helpful, nice and more. The structure is pretty new, clean and comfortable. I felt home, fareway from home..
- Quinn (1/5): Staff are horrible. - I was robbed by a rideshare app driver, and I paid the owner through PayPal because almost all my remaining funds were stolen. When I explain the situation to the staff, one of the staff members went as far as to say, I was lying, and that she believed the driver who robbed me. The owners continue to harass me demanding that I send the money, even though the money was sent the same day that I left. I sent the proof two separate times. I even gave them more than they deserved to pay for transfer fees. My generosity was not reciprocated by them. This resulted in them, sending an Irish national to harass me and insult me. This individual went so far to insult my mother. This is the type of people that run this hostel. Very mean spirited. I would never recommend this place to anybody.
- Gemma (10/5): A safe and amazing place - The best of the place is the owner. Since we arrived we felt so welcomed, she is so sweet. She is open to help us with anything at any time. All her recommendations were spot on! Definitely recommend it, she makes your stay so easy and so safe. We will definitely come back Although the location seems far but it is really well connected with the tram that is a really cheap and easy option (10’ walk)
- Carmine (10/5): I highly recommend visiting Romeissa's place. You will feel like at home, very difficult to leave! -
- Nick (10/5): Great, cozy little hostel in constantine - I ended up staying here three separate times during my most recent trip in Algeria and really enjoyed staying here every time. The location is around 5 min taxi ride from the airport and a 10 min walk to the tram station which takes you directly into the city centre. The house, itself, is really nice with a covered terrace area and a living room. The rooms are a good size and the mattresses pretty comfy. There are also a few supermarkets and smaller restaurants nearby if you aren't eating in the city.
Romeissa is a lovely person and great host and made the place feel really comfortable. Would honestly recommend anyone who enjoys hostels and in the area to stay here, you won't be dissappointed. Nothing, everything was perfect for me.
