• Christina (10/5): Eine tolle Unterkunft - Die Unterkunft war sauber undgepflegt und von den Besitzern sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. In der gesamten Unterkunft befanden sich viele Lichterketten und Dekoelemente was die Unterkunft sehr einladend gestaltete. Die Sauna trug ebenfalls dazu bei. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet und es befand sich Tee und Kaffee bereits vor Ort. Ein Supermarkt war zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Bei Fragen hatten wir jederzeit eine Ansprechpartner. Es war insgesamt ein perfekter Aufenthalt.
• Sebastian (10/5): Perfect winter dream home with phenomenal location, sauna, hot tub (extra cost) and amazing host. - Perfectly equipped, everything is there, highlight is the hot tub (at extra cost) in the garden. Perfect place to stay in Rovanimie. Hot tub comes at extra 150€, BUT absolutely worth it. Its a lot of hassle for the owner to get the wood fired hot tub started - price is absolutely fair and I really enjoyed maintaining the fire afterwards. Really fun and brilliant briefing by the owners family how to switch it back on the next days. Real Finland feeling. Size, location, communication with owner. Support.
• Raluca (10/5): Exceptional property in beautiful surroundings - This is an exceptional property, large, plenty of rooms available, clean, very well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is plenty of space around the property for children to play in the snow. Taxis to City Centre are €20 and to SCV or airport are €40. The hosts were very generous with plenty of freebies in the house, for ex chocolates, gummies, biscuits, local Glog drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this property to anyone.

El trato, la comunicación y la amabilidad de la dueña han sido también excepcionales. Y a nuestra llegada encontramos varios detalles de bienvenida como fruta, galletitas y chocolatitos de navidad. Gracias por todo, nuestra familia se ha sentido como en casa, y hemos podido crear recuerdos maravillosos: con la nieve de fondo en cada estancia de la casa, cocinando en la hoguera, nuestro pequeño disfrutando con el trineo cada día a la puerta de casa…ha sido sin duda experiencia única e inolvidable!

• Charleigh (9/5): Winter wonderland, fairy lit, log cabin in the Arctic Circle. - The Location is about 10 minutes drive outside of the city centre, and about 10 minutes drive in the opposit direction to santa claus village, so it was well placed. It felt seclueded, yet everything was easy to reach with our hire car (however im sure an UBER or BOLT taxi would do the job just al well). The cabin is tucked into a snowy woods with plenty of space around it. It was very clean and very user friendly with an easy to use manual. It had a lovely large dining table area in the kitchen, and a very large lounger; this was an open plan space yet at the same time in felt very snuggly and much like a log cabin, It was decorated beautilfully with lots of natural wood, furs, christmas tree and so many fairy lights throughout the house. It advertised a wood burning hot tub in the garden, and a fire pit. However when we asked how to use it we were told it was an additional 180 Euros and that the hot tub would take 5 hours to fill up. we didnt bother with this then, as we assumed it was in with the price. Also we couldnt use the fire pit and their was only 1 single log in the log storage area on the porch behind, which was a shame, and it could have done with the wood being topped up - however this is just a VERY minor negative.

The host is very kind, welcoming us with some fruits, nice Scandinavian cookies & Christmas drinks. The house well equipped with all necessary facilities. We loved every corner of the house, including the yard and surrounding scenery. The house is near to Lappi Areena. We had watched an exciting Ice Hocky match during our stay. • Dries (10/5): 10/10 - We had a fantastic time in this cottage! The location is really excellent - quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature, yet close enough to everything you need. A perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. The cottage itself exceeded all our expectations. Very cozy and even nicer than the pictures show - a real hidden gem. Upon arrival we were immediately immersed in an atmospheric Christmas atmosphere, which made the stay even more magical. This is also a great place for families. The cottage is child-friendly and the children had a great time sledding in the area. An absolute highlight was the hot tub. Lovely relaxing in the warm water while watching the clear starry sky - and we even got to admire the northern lights from the hot tub. An unforgettable experience! Finally, the landlord deserves all the praise. Hugely friendly, helpful and always available for questions or tips. It was clear that hospitality is a priority here.
