You are expected to socialize with the host and her family during your stay- zero privacy, they do not listen to dietary requirements or allergies :(((( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT ASD FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The gate doesn't lock and fences aren't closed - unsuitable for a small dog to run free :( The service you receive varies depending how the host feels and everything is on her terms!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY EVEN IF YOU DO NOT STAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pool is very small and situated right next to the owners driveway there is no screening :/ its not heated and freezing even in Autumn. The room is very small and the windows are inaccessible. The door cannot be locked from inside and the host AND her husband are part of your stay as you share the area. The breakfast offered was minimal and dietary requirement/allergies uncatered for :( - was told the host had a migraine so sorry! I had to leave on the first night because her husband made me feel very uncomfortable and the bedding was also so smelly :(((((( was told it is my fault :(

• Benjamin (10/5): - Such a comfortable stay in a great location. Owners were absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Nice and relaxing with a big grass area perfect for pets and a pool to cool off. Would definitely stay here again.
• Chit Heng (9/5): Perfect for couple stay. - Great Breakfast is passionately prepared by the owner, as well as adequate breakfast supplies are equipped in the room. The open air living room is great for work and relaxation. Room is very cozy and comfortable. If you drive, there are lots of space parking along the street. Didn't manage to use the pool as it was under maintenance during our stay.
• Emelie (10/5): Sweetest hosts ever and clean, cozy, quiet room - I usually don't leave reviews but I just had to recommend this place. The hosts are sooo kind and will acommodate your every need. They gave me a fully stocked fridge and breakfast and even cooked a hot meal for dinner for me. I had a lot of fun playing darts with Andy as well! The room is equipped with everything you need and the bathroom is luxurious with a big shower. Definitely worth a visit!

• Davin (10/5): Relaxing - We had a fantastic stay at The Mellow Haven on the Gold Coast. The host was wonderful, warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive from start to finish. Communication was excellent and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The private room was comfortable, quiet, and very well set up. The backyard was especially great for our dogs, which made travelling with them completely stress free. Breakfast was above and beyond, generous, thoughtful, and a lovely way to start the day. It genuinely felt more like being a guest in someone’s home than staying in standard accommodation. Highly recommend The Mellow Haven and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Marianna! Nothing

They were kind enough to offer to pick us up from - The property was so cute, had a gorgeous outdoor area and pool. Quiet area to be located and was very peaceful. Had everything we needed in the room, bed was super comfy and lovely doggie Sebastian on the property☺️

• Iman (10/5): A perfect stay with wonderful hosts – highly recommended for anyone, especially if traveling with pets. - We had such a wonderful stay with Marianna and Andrew. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The house had excellent facilities, our car was safe in the carport, and our dog felt very secure and happy here – truly the perfect place for anyone traveling with pets. We also had complete privacy, while at the same time receiving so much care and support. They surprised us with breakfast supplies, kindly collected our laundry from the line, washed our dishes, and even looked after our dog for a whole day (including a walk!) so we could enjoy some time out. We felt so well cared for and can’t recommend this place highly enough. Nothing at all – everything exceeded our expectations.

• Stephanie (10/5): Great one night stay to relax before race day - The hosts were awesome and sweet! They even gave us a card celebrating my husband and I's first 10km run. We were also given an option of a late check out with no added fee which was very helpful as we were able to freshen up and rest for a bit after the race. Hotels would charge extra for that. The place was in great location too and very quiet as well.

Our dog was very happy and enjoyed meeting the very cute Sebastian. The owners are fabulous hosts. They added many thoughtful little touches which we appreciated so much. We slept very well and the street is quiet and peaceful. Bed is very comfy with lots of pillows !

• Liela (10/5): Good location and great to stay with dogs! - Great location not far from the beach and food places. The bedroom had so many pillows which my partner loved! And they had set up a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster and kettle. They stocked all breaky and snacks for us and even made sure they were vegan for our dietary requirements. Our dogs were allowed and there’s a hose outside to shower them off after the beach. The hosts are lovely, so hospitable and friendly. We played games of darts and there was a BBQ we could use. We parked under the car port, met their beautiful little friend dog and there’s a seperate entrance to get into the back. All in all a great stay! Everything was great!
