• Darnae (8/5): This was a little bit of a different stay compared to the standard hotel or hostel. We Loved it. - The view from the balcony/Kitchen was lovely and tranquil, the apartment was clean and furnished well. There are five flights of stairs to get to this apartment which wasn't an issue for me Make the outdoor area a little bit neater but this really didn't impact my stay

• Pollyanna (8/5): Felt like our own appartment in Hanoi - It was very relaxed, open, bohemian style living, we could come and go as we pleased, and had the facilities to cook and relax like it was our own home, very relaxed environment, great location, and lovely balcony to relax It looked slightly different to the pictures, but we still loved it!

• Alex (2/5): It's not what it looks like - The host was very responsive! I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Several key details were not disclosed beforehand, making for an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. Firstly, I had to climb five flights of stairs, which was never mentioned in the booking information. To make matters worse, there was no lighting, making it particularly hazardous to navigate at night. The cleanliness of the place was far from acceptable—nothing resembled the pictures provided online. The bathroom being located outside was another unpleasant surprise that had not been mentioned. Having to step out into the heat every time I needed to use the toilet was incredibly inconvenient.

The pictures are outdated. No room for soap and it was provided in a mug. Too little of toilet paper. Super slow wi-fi. Free laundry at the ground floor but it kept throwing errors and failed to finish

• Tahlee (10/5): Exceptional - Felt like home in a new city, everything was pretty much walking distance from the location, and although you are right near the main strip, it was very quiet.

• John (7/5): good value for money. spacious and clean - very convenient location, close to all attractions, food stalls and shops the apartment itself is very spacious. the bedroom is more than big enough, has good clean linen and a comfortable bed, and a working air-con. the kitchen area is on the outside terrace, which is fine. it has a cooking plate , fridge and worktop - although with so many food options just downstairs i didn't need them. it also has a kettle, which was much appreciated. i used the bath each day, which is a real luxury. the water is lovely and hot. the host is very lovely. she went out of her way to come meet me to give me a small gift overall, it's very good value for money. spacious and clean the bathroom has no walk in shower. the shower hose on the bath has no wall fitting nor shower curtain, so it's not too convenient to use (but you can bath instead) the bathroom has no wash hand basin for shaving, brushing teeth etc - so you have to use the kitchen sink. is located on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. quite a mission if you have heavy bags.

• Natasa (1/5): Disappointed, notthing like in the pictures - Almost nothing, despite being in the center The accommodation doesn’t look like anything on the photos. It’s on the 5th floor but only thin wooden steps go there. The bathroom and the “kitchen” is outside on the balcony the only thing that could be considered being inside is the bed, which has two walls and two window doors. The smell is not nice, everything is pretty old and not taken care of. It’s the opposite of what we expected, we needed to change into another place.
