Les dames qui servent le petit déjeuner sont d'une extrême gentillesse et la finca a un potentiel énorme...mais...c'est un lieu qui regroupe des hébergements sans accueil. On se croirait dans un bateau fantôme sans capitaine..des hébergements au confort succinct.. pas adaptés au quotidien.. Une décoration campagnarde épurée qui correspond au lieu mais sans confort,( hormis la literie) Les photos de présentation ne donnent absolument pas une idée précises des lieux .Il n'y a dans la maison aucun détail pour permettre de passer des vacances confortables : manque de vaisselle et d'ustensiles pour cuisiner tout juste de quoi camper.. un banc ancien faisant office de banquette et totalement inconfortable avec un coussin d'assise et des coussins pour le dossier très mous et pas adaptés. Dans la douche pas d'étagère pour poser les produits,manque d'un sèche serviette car salle d'eau très humide,1 rouleau de papier wc mis à disposition et complètement humide,murs salle d'eau couverts de salpêtre .. dommage car la rénovation de cette salle d'eau est sympa mais pas aboutie dans le détail et la fonctionnalité .Dans la chambre taie d'oreiller mise directement sur le coussin sans protection( ce n' est pas hygiénique et les protections d'oreillers coûtent 3€ chez ikea..)le protection du matelas n'est pas changée entre chaque client elle n'était pas très propre,pas de torchon dans la cuisine pour s'essuyer les mains et la vaisselle ( il en faut deux )pas de meuble de rangement pour la vaisselle alors qu'il y a la place sous l'évier.Rangement pour vêtements dans la chambre pour y mettre "des mini vêtements..".Odeur d'égout dans cuisine et salle d'eau, odeur d'humidité et cheminée dans la pièce à vivre ( les chauffages électriques ne sont pas adaptés aux volumes de la maison pourquoi lorsque vous avez installé la climatisation ne pas avoir mis un appareil réversible chauffage/ climatisation..),table salle à manger collée sous l' escalier impossible de s'y assoir.
• Armstrong (9/5): Charming & peaceful - Beautiful setting, lovingly restored old olive mill. So peaceful and quiet. Every morning we had a fresh and tasty breakfast on the porch of our little casa. The swimming pool is also a joy with stunning views. The electricity was off one morning until 2pm but this was a municipal thing, not the fault of the owners. The shower did not always keep it's heat well for the duration of your shower. Tour buses park nearby to come and see the mill and walk right by your casa and patio, which is a shame given how peaceful it is otherwise.

Le logement Casa Del Escondite aurait pu parfaitement correspondre à nos attentes sans la présence d’une forte odeur d’humidité, voire d’eau stagnante, qui a nettement altéré notre séjour. Je regrette que, malgré mes messages adressés à la propriétaire et l’information transmise au personnel sur place, aucune prise de contact ni solution n’ait été proposée pour la fin de notre séjour.

• Maximilian (9/5): Super schön und ruhig! - Super schön Finca, abgelegen vom Trubel der Großstädte. Der Host Kate war super freundlich, hat Tipps für Wanderungen geschickt und täglich Frühstück vorbeigebracht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist ein Steinhaus, deswegen sind die Wände etwas feucht. Aber alles in allem was es perfekt!

• jeltsje (10/5): Heerlijk rust - Zo mooi, zo stil , hartstikke schoon . Prachtig Het zwembad heeft een beetje liefdevolle verzorging nodig na de lange regenval. En een lekker zittend zitje buiten zou fijn zijn geweest. Maar eerlijk gezegd; maakt het niet uit, want het was heerlijk allemaal.

• Sabine (7/5): Toller Aufenthalt nach Anfangsschwierigkeiten - Wir hatten die Villa Guarda bekommen. Sehr grosszügig, sauber, gut ausgestattet, toller Ausblick. Als wir ankamen wussten wir nicht in welchem Haus wir sind. Den Code hatten wir zu spät bekommen. Zum Glück kam eine Art Hausmeister der uns helfen konnte. Allerdings ging das alles viel zu lange Dann wurden wir in einer kleinen Wohnung (schlecht ausgestattet und kein Freisitz) im Haupthaus untergebracht, was gar nicht den beiden Villas wie auf der Webseite oder bei booking.de so abgebildet war. Als wir uns beschwert haben konnten wir in eines der Häuser (Villa) wechseln. Dort war alles prima.

El personal muy atento, la limpieza, la paz que se respira en el lugar, el desayuno de 10, lo bien cuidado del jardín y la piscina, la casa grande y espaciosa. Por poner algún pero no añadiría alguna mesita de noche en las habitaciones para poder colocar nuestras cosas y el frigorífico que se queda pequeño sobre todo en la Villa de 3 dormitorios que solemos ocupar 6 personas.

• Guille (10/5): Maravillosa estancia en un paraje increible - El sitio es espectacular. Cumplió nuestras expectativas al 100 x 100. Un sitio donde desconectar en un paraje asombroso. El desayuno también nos encantó y el propietario está muy atento a las dudas que nos fueron surgiendo. Por último, valoramos muchísimo la chimenea, las tardes y noches hicieron de nuestra estancia algo mágico. Muchísimas gracias por todo y sin duda repetiremos!
• Pablo (9/5): Perfecto para un retiro en pareja. - La casa es muy acogedora y romántica. Tiene el espacio adecuado para dos personas y todo está muy cuidado y decorado con mucho gusto. Las vistas son impresionantes, desde la cama se ve el Pantano del Zahara. Para llegar a Zahara hay que dar un paseito de menos de 10 minutos, pero es muy agradable. Había aparcamiento disponible en la misma puerta. El sofá es bastante rústico y no es muy cómodo para estar sentado varias horas. La chimenea no tiene rejilla de protección lo cual puede ser un peligro. La planta de arriba tendría que tener un sistema de extracción de humo para que no huela tanto. Son detalles para que el anfitrion tenga en cuenta para posibles mejoras, pero el alojamiento está muy bien.
• Gabriel (10/5): Un lugar para desconectar - La tranquilidad del lugar, se calentaba bastante rápido gracias a la chimenea y aparatos eléctricos. Desconexión y relax. El sofá, nada acogedor ni cómodo. No podías estar mucho tiempo sentado o tumbado puesto que era imposible de soportar. Faltaban utensilios de cocina como platos hondos
• Mel (5/5): - Es un lugar bonito y con encanto con lo indispensable como bienvenida: botella de agua y cápsulas de café e infusiones . No sentí el arropo que se debe tener cuando te hospedas en cualquier alojamiento.Los detalles cuentan ...la leña era ridícula para dos noches y lo peor es que tuve que buscarla yo por mi cuenta porque no había nadie hasta que fue mi salida del alojamiento que el supuesto saco de leña que cuesta 5 € son cuatro tronquitos finos y uno más grande ( no era un saco sino una caja de plástico).

• Ines (1/5): - Wir haben uns am Tag der Anreise eine andere Unterkunft suchen müssen, da das Geschäftsmodell der Finca darin besteht, die Kunden ein Haus buchen zu lassen und dann kurzfristig zu sagen, dass es Buchungsprobleme gäbe. Es wird dann ein provisorisch eingerichtetes Appartement angeboten ohne Balkon oder Terrasse. Man bekommt einen Rabatt von 20% angeboten.Wie man auf Google Maps lesen kann, ist das sehr vielen Kunden ähnlich ergangen. Auf Maps hat sich die Finca entfernt und ist nur noch unter Finca Molina erwähnt. Angeblich vorübergehend geschlossen. Seltsam, dass man auf Booking weiterhin buchen kann.

• Emilio (1/5): ¿Fallo informático? - El trato y la comunicación con la empleada fue muy bueno en todo momento y el entorno es maravilloso. No puedo valorar realmente la villa, ya que nunca llegamos a hospedarnos en ella. El mismo día de nuestra llegada, alrededor de las 13:30, recibimos una llamada de una empleada informándonos de que, debido a un “fallo informático”, habían sobrevendido el alojamiento y no podríamos alojarnos en el espacio que habíamos reservado. Como alternativas, nos ofrecieron: 1. Cancelar sin coste. 2. Alojarnos en otra habitación “similar” (aunque de similar solo tenía la ubicación) con un 20% de descuento. 3. Aceptar esa habitación alternativa sin descuento, incluyendo además un desayuno o aperitivo en el olivar como compensación. Al estar ya de camino y tratarse de una escapada especial por nuestro aniversario, decidimos seguir adelante y aceptar el descuento. Sin embargo, al llegar, la decepción fue enorme: la habitación no se parecía en nada a la villa que habíamos reservado. Ya en las fotos que nos enviaron se notaba una clara diferencia a peor, pero verlo en persona fue desalentador, hasta el punto de plantearnos marcharnos sin pasar la noche. Tras varios mensajes y llamadas con la empleada —quien en todo momento fue amable y atenta—, conseguimos finalmente un 50% de descuento, desayunos incluidos y una botella de vino de cortesía. Con ese ajuste, consideramos que el precio se acercaba más a lo que realmente ofrecía el alojamiento, y decidimos quedarnos, aunque la experiencia estaba lejos de lo esperado. En un principio pensamos que lo ocurrido había sido un error puntual. Sin embargo, nuestra sorpresa fue mayúscula al comprobar en las reseñas de Google y Booking que esta situación se repite con frecuencia desde hace tiempo. Esto nos hace dudar de si realmente se trata de un fallo informático o de una práctica deliberada que juega con la ilusión de los viajeros, avisando a última hora cuando ya es difícil encontrar alternativas. ACTUALIZACIÓN: Tras 15 días desde que nos alojamos allí, no nos han reembolsado el dinero y lo hemos tenido que gestionar a través de Booking.

• Damian (9/5): - Położenie blisko miasta Zahara ( spacerem kilkanaście minut), willa zachowana w stylu retro, miła obsługa i dobre śniadania. Ja wiem że wokoło jest sama natura ale robaków w środku było zbyt dużo, wynajmowaliśmy wille Casa del Guarda która jest położona przy wjeździe do posesji i przy naszych drzwiach zatrzymywały się samochody aby rozpakować bagaże co sprawiło że trudno było zaznać prywatności.
• Hannah (1/5): Achtung: wer die "Villa" bucht läuft Gefahr stattdessen in einem kleinen dunklen Apartment zu landen - Schöne Aussicht, leckeres Frühstück, Pool, gute Lage zum Wandern. Zahara de la Sierra ist in ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten eine der beiden "Villen" gebucht (Villa Escondite mit 1 Schlafzimmer). Bei unserer Ankunft stellte sich heraus, dass dieses freistehende Ferienhaus zwar existiert, jedoch bereits belegt war. Wir wurden stattdessen in einem schlecht ausgestatteten Apartment in einem Haupthaus der Finca untergebracht: viel kleiner, dunkel, ohne eigenen Außensitzbereich, ohne jegliche bequeme Sitz- oder Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Wechsel der Unterkunft wurde uns vorher nicht angekündigt. Die Managerin war nur per WhatsApp zu erreichen. Sie teilte uns mit der Wechsel sei auf einen "Systemfehler" zurückzuführen und bot uns eine Stornierung der Buchung oder einen Rabatt in Höhe von 20% an (in unseren Augen keine angemessene Kompensation für den viel geringeren Leistungsumfang). Ähnliche Erfahrungen werden seit mindestens Mai 2025 von diversen Gästen in den Rezensionen (Google & Booking.com) beschrieben. Es gibt auf der Finca zwei Villen und drei Apartments, jedoch sind aktuell nur die Villen auf der Website und über Booking sichtbar/buchbar. Die Apartments werden offensichtlich durch Buchungen der Villen belegt, ohne dass Gäste zuvor in Kenntnis gesetzt werden, was sie eventuell buchen. Die betroffenen Gäste haben bei Ankunft vor Ort wenig bis keine Möglichkeiten noch am selben Tage eine adäquaten Alternative für die gebuchte Leistung zu finden. Während unseres Aufenthaltes konnten wir beobachten, dass die größere Villa (mit 3 Schlafzimmern) durchgehend belegt war, auf der Website und Booking.com aber dennoch für mindestens zwei Nächte buchbar war. Wer diese zwei Nächte gebucht hätte, wäre also auch in einem Apartment anstatt in der gebuchten Villa gelandet. Schade, denn die Villen scheinen hübsch zu sein, so wie der Rest der Finca mit dem Pool-Bereich, schönen Aussichten, leckerem Frühstück und die Lage ist auch toll. Bewerbt die Apartments doch einfach korrekt und lasst sie für einen geringeren Preis buchen!

• Cristina (9/5): Muy recomendable - La ubicación esta muy bien, está cerca del centro de Zahara de la Sierra a unos 3 min en coche y 10 min andando. Tiene aparcamiento gratuito, lo que hace que te despreocupes del coche. No pudimos quedarnos en el alojamiento que reservamos por un fallo informático de la plataforma pero los responsables de la finca se pusieron en contacto y nos dieron otro con características similares y con un descuento ya que era un apartamento y no una casa. Nos hemos quedado con ganas de alojarnos en una de sus casas así que volveremos. El desayuno es variado y te lo adaptan a tu gustos e intolerancias. En nuestro caso el apartamento cuenta con lo necesitaro (a falta de microondas y artículos de aseo que si que tenía la casa). Las vistas son increíbles, la piscina la tuvimos para nosotras solas y destaco la comodidad de la cama, para quedarte ahí todo el día. Al estar en la sierra tienes que tener en cuenta que hay hormigas e insectos pero es lo normal.

• Pondman (8/5): - Het is authentiek en sfeervol. Ontbijt is lekker. En personeel heel vriendelijk! Leuk ook om even te zien hoe de olijfolie wordt gemaakt! Het zit hem in verwachtingenmanagement. Wij boekten de 'villa met 1 slaapkamer'. In de beschrijving staat dat je een villa van 90 m2 krijgt. Met een woonkamer, openhaard, etc. Alleen, we kregen in werkelijkheid een soort appartment van misschien 40 m2. De foto's die je op booking ziet, komen dan ook niet helemaal overeen. Dat zou mijn tip zijn: schets een beter beeld van wat je echt krijgt. Nu waren we toch teleurgesteld, terwijl als we hadden geweten dat we dit kregen, waren we heel blij geweest.

We were told we could have two cribs for our two babies, but the day of arrival only one was available, which was uncomfortable and not at all ideal. However, the next day they were able to provide one.

We are hoping to come back one day. - We loved the location - just a short walk away from everything could want and need but still you get to enjoy the peacefulness of the campo. We got the pool to ourselves most of the time and the apartment itself is beautiful. To top it off the communication with Raquelle was great and the people on site were lovely too. We also enjoyed the vegetation breakfast we requested. There was nothing not to like! In the one bed villa we had no tv (not sure about the other villas) but we actually enjoyed not having one :)
• Marga (9/5): Entorno espectacular - La atención del personal de 10 . El espacio donde esta ubicado y las vistas desde la ventana espectaculares. Quizá le faltaría algún mueble tipo mesita de noche en el dormitorio y en el baño alguna percha para poder colgar las toallas.

• Alba (9/5): Gracias por estos días de paz - La decoración y estética de la casa es preciosa y hacen que te sientas cómodo, relajado, tranquilo y en paz. El desayuno era completo y saludable al igual que equilibrado y respetaron nuestras preferencias. Raquelle nos ayudó en todo lo que le pedimos y la piscina es muy grande y espaciosa para todos los huéspedes. No puedo decir que no me gustara nada, pero si que es verdad que al estar en la sierra hay muchos insectos y cenar en la terraza se hace difícil estar fuera por las abejas y en la cocina hay que ir con mucho cuidado con las hormigas. También creemos que habría que renovar las hamacas de la piscinas pero son cosas que no nos han impedido disfrutar al máximo de la estancia.

La casita que alquilamos era simplemente perfecta, justo al lado del molino pero con mucha intimidad. La terraza para el desayuno ideal con vistas al lago y la verdad que todo muy bien. La piscina y el desayuno perfectos también. Cerca del pueblo y con aparcamiento gratuito en la puerta, no le saco un pero

• Estelle (9/5): Séjour dépaysant et plein de charme avec une vue exceptionnelle ! - La vue, le charme de la maison aménagée avec goût et respect du lieu, la qualité de la literie, le petit-déjeuner et bien sûr notre hôte Raquel des plus attentionnées. La chaleur dans les chambres difficile à supporter même avec les ventilateurs et surtout dans la chambre des enfants qui n’avait qu’une prise de courant fonctionnelle utilisée pour la caméra bébé et donc où il n’était pas possible de brancher un ventilateur. Un petit manque de propreté du sol dans la pièce à vivre un peu gênant avec un bébé qui se déplace en rampant mais nous restons malgré cela ravi de notre séjour dans cet établissement merveilleux.

• Juliette (9/5): Lovely Andalusian holidays - Location, atmosphere, pool. Support from Raquelle to bring the necessary for our 6 nights stay (1 pan, hangers, breakfast bowl, salad bowl). Having to request items that should be there for a comfortable 6 nights stay. There is no door to ensuite bathroom. The fridge is small. Way to switch on/off lights/fan in ensuite bedroom is not straightforward. The sitting area and dining area are a bit small, only comfortable for 4 adults.
• Annerieke (9/5): Definitely recommended! - It’s an absolute gem in Andalusia. Great view over the dam/lake. Location and little house is like on the photos. Great pool. Good customer service, quick responses on what’s app. Including breakfast; one of us is Gluten free and that was no problem.
• Ewa (7/5): Cosy and charming but with problems. - The house is beautiful and very cosy - but please see below. Breakfast was beautifully served and large enough for two people. There is an olive oil manufacture and a bar but we had to find them ourselves. I liked the bathroom and the cosmetics. The location is good, close to Ronda and beautiful mountains (but you need a car). We had a problem with key pick up. I wasn't able to communicate with the host, but finally we were able to get in. But the main problem was that the house is leaning on a hill, and the back wall is partially covered underground. As a result, unfortunately, the back wall was damp and mouldy, and on our second day we weren't able to stay in the house as we intended, but we had to go for a trip because the smell of the mould was very strong (it was raining so perhaps this made it worse). Some smaller problems: no electric kettle; the fireplace is cute but causes the smoke to go in the house. No info on how to get to the pool, and the sunbeds there are very worn down.
• Vivian (7/5): A quite and beautiful place to stay - Close to the nature and the view is simply stunning. The design of the place is very nice. Breakfast is included which is great. The swimming pool is a nice touch. This is not exactly what we didn’t like but more about what can be improved. The concept of the place is great. It has so much potential but much more to be done. For example, the furniture and setting / amenities of the room need more thought into it. There are no small tables and place near the bed to put our luggage and things at all. The design of the bathroom is a bit weird - the shower curtain can’t really block the water from getting to the whole bathroom so it’s quite messy. The communication could also be improved. There’s no instructions for where the swimming pool is. It’s actually on the other side of the property and the entrance is slightly hidden. For our breakfast, we asked for 10am but they forgot it and it only came 40 mins late. Again, none of these are big issues. Just because we really liked the place and hope they can improve :)

• Daniel (9/5): Superb - This is a beautiful place with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the reservoir. Zahara is a lovely little town (though a little sleepy in April). The light in the windows in the morning was spectacular and the house was very comfortable. The fact that the pool was a short walk away through another building made it feel a little less accessible for the kids.
• Helene (5/5): Passable - Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Very close to Zahara de la Sierra. Very authentic. Spacious room. Nice kitchen. Lovely breakfast. Terrible stench of sewer coming from the bathroom and kitchen drain. Had to ask for the code to the key boks several times. The sunbeds at the pool were very old and it hurt lying on them because the frame of the sunbed was out of steel and poking up in the back. The sink in the bathroom was very wobbely. There was only one toiletpaper roll and we ran out - could not find any extras nor was there anyone to ask for a re-supply. We only saw the lady doing breakfast in the morning.
• Nguyen (7/5): Nice views, rooms not the same like in the photos - Nice view looking down to the lake and in the morning when the sun comes up. Decent breakfast. Close to Zahara town. Hot shower. There are different 3 bedroom villas. Ours doesn’t look anything like in the photos. The third bedroom is actually in the large living room area separated with a curtain so no privacy. We didn’t really mind as we travelled as a family, and the facilities work fine. But we would much prefer to have a heads up if the rooms ain’t anything like what the photos show.

• Benjamin (9/5): A beautifully presented home in an incredible location. - We loved the location! There is amazing scenery and nature on the doorstep, and it was a short walk to the lovely town of Zahara. It was the perfect base for some day trips to Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas also. The home was beautiful and quiet (note there are often tour buses that come to visit the olive farm, but this wasn't a problem for us), and we will remember our stay for a long time! We felt there could have been a few more facilities in the house, such as salt and pepper, some more bowls and cooking utensils. On cooler days, the house got quite cold, but there are extra blankets provided. We decided not to use the open fire, as there wasn't much ventilation from the smoke.

The authentic environment creates a sense of belonging and takes back to tbe past. Very comfortable and nice house. And the views are just amazing. You are among green green olive grows. Superb nice! And we enjoyed also the nearby pueblo and hiking routs around. Muchas gracias a la senora que nos trajo un buen desayuno cada manana. It was a bit too cold in winter, there is just one tiny radiator and fireplace which was not so convenient, as the smoke was not circulated properly. Otherwise everything was great
