- Nitima (7/5): lovely experience. - The house was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. Everything was set up beautifully, and the hosts communication was clear, and they were incredibly accommodating, especially with our late-night check‑in. The only downside was that one of the rooms felt quite cold during the night, and there didn’t seem to be any heating available. The heated sheet in that room also didn’t work, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Having a heating option in that room would have made the stay absolutely perfect.

- Mark (8/5): Short but sweet, and on my list of places to stay whilst in Melbourne. - I didn't spend much time in the home as I was attending seminars, but when I came in for overnight rest, it was peaceful, comfortable and private even with two other guest staying there. Amenities were clean, beds were comfortable. The hosts loves a good chat and are very friendly folk. This place will be on my list of stay overs when in Melbourne again.

- Joseph (9/5): Very pleasant and peaceful stay at a homely house in a nice and safe suburb - Booked this place for my uncle who was visiting from the US – he thought it was great! He also liked the genuinely friendly and positive vibe from the host family and other guests. But note that the bathroom is shared with the other rooms, although it wasn't a problem for him. The wifi password didn't work, so it wasn't used. But we had mobile data anyway, so didn't need to ask the host for the correct password.

- Rebecca (10/5): Glad I booked this room - This was my first time ever booking a shared home. Tani and her family are very welcoming, accommodating, and give you the space you need to rest. I enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast before my drive home. I would definitely stay here again.

- Demirian (7/5): Stay OK, but not satisfied with the arrangement - On the booking wasn’t mentioned anything about sharing house, share bathroom or toilet or kitchen or anything else, I thought it was like motel rooms in a home environment, like granny house or separate ensuite rooms. I stayed overnight only, the next day I went to another motel because of that situation.

The carpet was dirty, toilet is untidy and not well maintained. Room is very small but if declutter this area it may be enough for one night stay. Bed was so uncomfortable as it looks so old spring bed. We both experienced neck pain. We could see visible dust on the wall as well. This house is in a beautiful place, they could have maintained it very well for better experience for the customers. I don’t know if they have other better rooms but one we got is not like in the picture. Very disappointing experience and deceptive from what we see in bookings. The man even washed my car windows Fairy lights all night in front of the bedroom window was a bit annoying but by the time I realised it was too late to disturb Tani.(11pm) I’m sure she would have turned them off if I’d asked earlier. Block out blinds were on the window but it was a hot night and we needed the window wide open for fresh air

- Veronica (7/5): Good - Ghitani and Harry were lovely hosts who were friendly at all times. Rowville is a great suburb with lots of facilities nearby. Tani House is large and tidy, with modern amenities. The bathroom is shared, rather than private. The bathroom was not very clean when we first arrived. The bed is a double (rather than queen which is awkward if you are taller) with a double doona which felt too small for the bed. The heating system was not able to be operated in the room because it was central ducting.

- Judith (8/5): Nice stay at Tani family home - This was a comfortable room in their house. I slept upstairs, and the stairs were steep to get up there. Clean toilet and bathroom near the room. The bedroom had a double bed TV and it suited my purposes as I left early for work. The host was very nice and gave me the number to access the key from the box at the front door. Parking was on the property in front of the garage or grass area. Not much. It was very nice and suited my needs.

- Judith (8/5): Nice stay at Tani family home. - It was very comfortable for my needs. Very clean and hosts were very good. They assisted me also before my stay. I will stay there again as its very handy location to my work. Not much - it was comfortable for my needs.

The hosts were very hospitable especially Tani and made us feel welcome. The room was too small for a couple and there were too many items in the room so was very cramped. The bathroom was not really private as it was shared by other guests.
