- Claire (2/5): A Dump!! - The location is very good, having a bus stop in front of the door. The rest is all wrong. We booked this property months ago and due to having only 1 bad review ,I insisted to contact them personally and check about the property since we were travelling with young kids and our 70 year old mother.
When I asked for safety and hygiene of the property I was told not to worry as that bad review was only a no show.
I have trusted the property and paid for our stay.
In-between I have sent messages via booking.com and no one ever replied to me this was another thing that have pushed me to try contact them via WhatsApp.
The day arrived and we followed the address on booking.com , of which we have noticed that is listed wrong on the site - after we tried to enter, as we noticed that we were trying to enter another property by following the address on this platform the owner of this house was furious and angry to us and she told us, that we have to go further down the road opposite this property- we were 9 of us trying to find the property by foot with all luggage after a long journey.
The person in charge of this property have sent via WhatsApp no the address different from the booking.com and never said that the one on booking.com was wrong so I kept the one I had on my booking- he sent it late at night the day before we travelled and explained also that there was a leak in one of the bedrooms but not to worry as this has been solved.
When we finally arrived we found that no lights in the common area to go up 2 floors of stairs since no lift, and when I reported he said this is not their responsibility, something that should be listed on their property.We had to go up with luggage in the dark and this made it very difficult for our mother.
Then we have realised that ceiling in one bedroom was still dripping in a bucket in the middle of the bedroom were we had to sleep 4 pax.
When I reported he said it's ok safe😞.
