- Laura (6/5): - We visited for a wedding at Werribee. The location was good for the wedding plus close to a shopping complex ie woolworths. The house was large enough for 7 people. The house is weathered. There is paint peeling off walls, the heating system needs an electrician to fix the panel as the system does not work all the time plus there are a few loose electrical sockets around the house incl next to the stove. Mugs had chips which was not nice to drink out of. The ironing board cover was so thin, when I ironed, the ironing board left marks on our clothes. The 2 seater lounge is broken. Outside - backyard was not looked after with large weeds growing everywhere plus dirty outside furniture. Some of the utensils were dirty and had to be washed. Cooking pans are scratched and not usable.

- Lynnette (9/5): - The location was great and quite. Very roomy and relax

- Lakshmi (5/5): Given that it’s a short term stay and on top with we being away for most part of the day, our presence in the house was - Location and neighbourhood. Cleanliness and non-availability of basic/essential amenities.
Risky living condition posed by loose electrical switches(when trying to unplug the kettle or toaster in kitchen, the socket is also loose and coming off). There is a broken bath fittings leading to injury.
Kitchen utensils in highly deplorable condition.
Rooms infested with roaches and lots of cob webs with small spiders in kids room.

- THAO P DANG (9/5): Overall, this is a warm, comfortable, and lovely home, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Portland. - Great stay – comfortable house in a perfect location
We stayed here as a group of five and really enjoyed our time. The house has 2 toilets and 1 bathroom, which was very convenient for our group. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with all the essential amenities provided.
The dining room and living area are spacious, cosy, and spotless, making it easy for everyone to relax together. The house is also right in the centre of Portland, close to many beautiful attractions and scenic spots, which made sightseeing very convenient. For a 3-bedroom home, the price is very reasonable. The water it can feel slightly soft or slippery, but it didn’t affect our stay. One thing to note is that the shower area is not fully enclosed, so water can splash out onto the bathroom floor. We needed to use the broom to sweep the water after showering; otherwise, the water spreads across the bathroom.
- Erin (10/5): Lovely stay for families! - The location was perfect for us as we didn’t need to be in the city and were super close to our family friend’s home which made visiting easy. The tourist attractions we were drawn to were also closer than if we were located closer to the city. Although the city is an easy drive or trip via public transport.
All those items you would normally have to buy or bring with you were provided, so for us not having to go out and purchase laundry powder, dish washing liquid, bathroom supplies, baking paper/alfoil/cling wrap, condiments etc was a massive win.
The kids appreciated Netflix and the comfy recliners for relaxing at the end of our busy days.
The home is an easy walk to grocery shops, and many options for eating out/shopping within a few minutes drive. The equipment you’d need to cook meals is available as well.
We found it to be a safe, friendly neighbourhood with a lot of playgrounds and picnic amenities available.
It was nice to have off street parking and the use of the garage.
I think you could go out of your way to find things you don’t like about this home but you’d be nitpicking! It was all we needed and more. The hosts were wonderful with their communication making sure we had clear instructions for check in, in advance of our arrival and without prompting. The beds weren’t very comfortable, this is a personal preference though, and the ensuite shower head needs to be held otherwise sprays everywhere which isn’t convenient. I think these things are minor.
- Ruby (8/5): - Great location, easy to access and property was spacious and comfortable House had a damp smell throughout
- Bruno (9/5): No fuss stay at competitively priced home that can easily accomodate 8 adults or large family with c - 4 bedrooms have easily accomodated 7 adults. All necessary facilities, like a washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen applicance, bathrooms were there. This is very competitively priced property and we were aware that it will be furnished in a modest style and we did not expect glitz and polish. Yet, all we needed for a 5 day stay was there.
- Jason (10/5): Perfect fit for our needs. - The house was every thing we were looking for, facilities were great , plenty of room for our family of 5, very clean beds were very comfortable , was in a perfect location to where we needed for our trip.

- G (10/5): Excellent communication with host, provided everything we needed for a smooth check in. It’s a beautiful, cosy home and - Located in a new estate, quiet area. House looks well maintained, beautiful, big and spacious and everything was stocked (kitchen, laundry, bathroom etc). Loved everything about it What’s not to like?!

- Mt Gambier (9/5): - Our second stay. Amazing facilities, location great for what we needed and near walking track to take our dog after work. We lived being able to have our fur baby. But spotlessly clean but we were more than happy. The garage made coming home secure and comfortable. Climate control was exceptional. Everything was great. Not queen size beds, only double. So my 6 foot plus guys couldn't fully stretch out because of the bed ends..
- Mt Gambier (10/5): - The house had everything we needed. Awesome that we could have our pug stay with us. Central heating made the house cosy and warm. Private and quiet. Great location. Walking track near by. Owners were very helpful and answered any queries we had quickly. Stayed 11 nights. Have booked in the future to stay again for another week. Having bed ends, prevented my tall boys (over 190cm, 6 for 3) to stretch out in bed. Otherwise great.

- Chanel (1/5): Do not stay here!!! - Nothing! I didn't even stay here due to the host's negligence and failure to maintain the property and the owner is now ignoring me as I have rightfully requested compensation for out of costs that I have endured Everything. House has water damage and black mold. Do not stay here!!! The property is not maintained at all either. Paint peeling from walls, cracks, bad smell
- XIAOFENG (10/5): - 房间多,适合多口家庭。房东人好。
- Xiaofeng (10/5): good choice in Pointcook! - The house is large and clean, with four bedrooms, quite suitable for big families. The heating is good, which makes all rooms warm in winter, and the landlord is friendly and polite! Good choice in Pointcook! no
- Mohammad (9/5): Good value for money and location - Good location Queen Beds were not ideal for 2 people
- Janna (9/5): Superb -
- Alam (7/5): Relaxing stay - Location, size of the property, good for family. The bin was already full. Cleanliness could have been better. Hair found on the bunk beds and as a result kids could not use the bunk bed. Security features were not good as Keys not available for back door and front security door. Exhaust fan required in the shared toilet. Also no check out instructions available at the property.
- Nicole (8/5): Could have been perfect. - We loved the house. The location was perfect as was the amount of rooms.
Plenty of space.
Large living area and bedrooms. Loved having two bathrooms. From first step onto property the house was in need of maintenance.
Rubbish in the gardens, green waste up against the front fence, and a terribly overgrown pathway which led us to inside. The house was dirty. Floors were sticky. Walls in bathrooms dirty around the toilet. Behind the oven hotplates on splashback was very dirty, the vents all through the house were full of dust and cobwebs and the walls looked like they had tape pulled off them where trims were leaving torn walls. Opened foods left in cupboards and fridge.
The dishes in the cupboards were dirty, but a run through the dishwasher fixed that. The washing machine was full of mold and the washing line is going to break soon.
The beds were needing some maintenance. One bed fell when you sat on the top edge, one bed you rolled out of if two people shared the bed, one bed was held together with a ratchet strap and one was a small (very small) bunk bed that wasn't suitable for my /teen adult children and the rail wasn't secured on. This wasn't advertised as a bunk bed.
Overall the beds were all in need of replacement.
Front door was hard to close as it seems the hinges are coming loose. Handles on cupboards falling off.
It was obvious that this house has someone who cares decorate it and put in the effort however it seems the cleaning has been bare basics and the yard maintenance needs to be improved. It has a lovely outside area however it is overgrown with big weeds.
Overall I could have loved this place and would have given it 10/10 if it was clean and gardens were attended to. Would love to stay again if this can all be resolved.
- Nadine (9/5): As above. - Our stay was super easy and the host was very responsive. The property was very clean and tidy and we felt at home it was very comfortable and spacious.
- Monait (8/5): Comfortably spacious stay. Clean but not spotless. - The house was spacious and comfortable. It was just what we needed as a sort of home away from home at such short notice. The fully equipped kitchen and the bathrooms were great. The host was very responsive as unfortunately there was an internet outage for the majority of our stay which the host helped with suggestions of ways to try fixing in case it might’ve been a problem with the modem, but later found it was an outage on the Telstra website. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. There were only two notable downsides. First was the amount of dust and spider webs throughout the property. At first glance, the main areas and bathrooms all looked clean. However if you looked closer you can see several areas covered in dust. And the backyard, while it looked beautiful with all the flowers and knick-knacks, there seemed to be spiderwebs in every corner.
Second was the white bed frame. There must have been a hole in the base board as when I sat on the top left corner of the bed, it dipped unexpectedly and drastically the whole opposite corner of the bed lifted up with ease. It seemed fine on the rest of the bed so it wasn’t a huge problem for us. Though if an elderly person were to sit in the same spot, it may not be so easy for them to get back up on their own.
- Matenda (10/5): No regrets stay - It's a nice quiet place to chill. The owner responds well. Good communication. Instructions were clear. Loved it. Main bathroom didn't have shower gel that's all. OtherwisThthe stay was excellent.
- Richard (9/5): The perfect solution for our complex needs. - The whole experience was positive.
