Guest Reviews
- Lauren (4/5): Disappointing place in a good location - Location was good and quiet. Property itself was ok and the beds were comfy. There was no blind or curtain in the living room, which after reading previous reviews has obviously been like that for a long time and the owners have chosen not to do anything about it which is disappointing.
It made the room feel cold and the lack of privacy was a concern.
Overall the place showed a lack of care and love, and the bare minimum was provided.
There was one coffee pod for a three night stay so we couldn't even use the coffee machine.
The door code also malfunctioned and locked us out. We tried contacting the hosts via phone and left a voicemail which they never returned. Thankfully after a few minutes we tried again and we got in but the lack of contact was disappointing.
No other amenities available.
- Mark (8/5): Good value & nice - Nice two bedroom house, big yard, off street parking, has ducted aircon, plenty of space inside the house & outside if you have kids. Set up nicely with extras ~ books, toys . Comfy bed, pillows not great though. Short walk to a great coffee shop & ten minutes max to the Glen. The kitchen bin was tiny , like a little office bin~ weird, no top sheet on the bed~ weird again & the door code is ten numbers long, so you need to screen shot the check in details to remember it .

- Gan (8/5): Overall ok but kettle was rusty. - Quite clean including bedsheets. Big space big yard. Kettle was rusty n needs to be changed. There was a cupboard with mop n broom n smells bad. Agree with previous reviews that there should be curtains in living room.

- Dino (1/5): -
- Christine (7/5): Expected more for price - No breakfast. The t.v and house was nice No top sheet . Only earl grey teabags not nornal ones. Very minimalist. No milk had to go and shop when tired from travelling.
- Ting (9/5): Superb -
- Angie (10/5): Cozy and comfortable home! - The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in GlenWaverley for the school holidays. The home was immaculate and the beds were super comfortable. It felt safe and it was easy to access using the keycode provided. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. The bedrooms are tucked away at the back of the house and you couldn't hear a pin drop in the evenings.
The accomodation was more spacious than the the photos showed. The open space in the couryard and backyard are ideal for any one with young children to play outdoors.
We would definitely consider staying here again in the future as it ticked a lot of boxes! It had everything we needed for a short stay including all appliances and a full kitchen with gas cooktops. The cleanliness was oustanding. A few suggestions for the hosts: Please consider hanging up some blinds for the sliding door (not only for a sense of privacy but also to help adjust the natural light in the open plan living room/ dining area). I would also suggest a foldable clothes rack that can be used to hang small garments in the courtyrad or the laundry for convenience. A sugar jar would be great - we couldn't find any sugar in the kitchen or near the tea jars/ coffee machine.
- Timothy (8/5): Convenient for our needs, although shops a 30min walk away. Has all that you need to a comfortable stay. Secure yard. - Clean, good facilities, comfortable beds, as described. Secure yard, room to park our vehicle. Good lighting inside & out. Plenty of power points for charging. No curtains for lounge room privacy to next door.
TV remote needs new batteries.
TV free to air didn’t work very well, reception not great.
Needs face washers
Indoor clothes drying rack would be good
Couldn’t find any pegs for clothes line.
Toilet handle door plate fell off
Kitchen cupboards slam, would benefit from small rubber stoppers stuck to the bottom inside of the doors to stop the noise.
Remove the broken table from the back yard, looked terrible.
- Janelle (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would book again without hesitation. - In Melbourne to attend an event at Oakleigh. House was perfectly located with a 20 min drive to the event and less than 5 minutes to the local shops, restaurants etc.
Lovely quiet area, driveway parking available. House came equipped with everything we needed for our trip.
Excellent communication from owners, very helpful & accommodating.
- Yuehao (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (9/5): Feel just like home - Spacious, clean, good location and lots of amenities None
- Ian (7/5): Spoiled by initial condition - Spacious, mostly well appointed (except no curtain/blind in living room, no baking dishes for oven) UNIT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED SINCE LAST OCCUPIER. Checkin was from 3pm, we arrived at 4pm. Contacted owner, returned at 5:30, still being cleaned, not finihed till 6pm.
Bed linen consisted only of fitted sheet, doona cover, pillow cover, no top sheet,
- Junyi (9/5): Superb -
- Gada (9/5): Superb - It was clean and bright I didn’t like that they didn’t have coffee sugar and milk.
- Franca (8/5): It was a comfortable house and great location - Location/cleanliness/comfortable beds Would have been great to have coffee and sugar provided, not just a few coffee pods. A table outside would have been great also.
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (10/5): Clean and peaceful, great experience - Perfectly presented, beds were amazing
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent hosts, amazing facilities Nothing
