• françoise (9/5): - L'emplacement proche du site archéologique d'Abou simbel et le petit déjeuner très copieux et excellent. La chambre est en mezzanine donc ouverte sur le salon, cuisine. Pas d'intimité. Le couchage sur le canapé est étroit.

• CHU (6/5): 設施不錯只是不知道為什麼廁所可以那麼臭 - 把我們安排住在Tuya hotel，位置方便，位於神廟和市中心中心點，去哪裡都很方便 廁所巨臭，離開時本來說會安排免費嘟嘟車載去巴士站，卻說嘟嘟車司機沒空，要幫我們安排車子300埃鎊一趟（5-10分鐘車程），我們不爽拒絕後才說幫我們安排100埃鎊的嘟嘟車（應該也是高於市價）

Usei bicicleta do hotel para visitar o templo - durante o dia e depois no Night Show - o que foi foi muito prático. Equipe atenciosa, hotel com ótimo restaurante. Gostei de tudo, perfeito.

• Claudia (10/5): Great place in Abu Simbel - Really comfortable and pretty room with a small kitchen. 20 minutes walk from the temples, close to the bus station and many restaurants. Rich breakfast included. "Open" shower like in hostels, but you can manage.
• HODL (10/5): - Le logement est une vrai petite maison. Tous etait proper et comfortable. Un grand plus pour la literie! Le proprietair était la pour nous accueillir avec gentillesse et il pouvait nous organiser les billets pour le spectacle son et lumière le soir. Bref, séjour parfaitement réussi.

• Xing (10/5): Good - This is an excellent, very clean homestay. The location is a bit tricky to find, but after contacting the host on WeChat, they immediately came to open the door and hand us the keys. They were also thoughtful enough to buy us some local snacks. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the temple—just a straight shot down the road. Breakfast is available along the way to the temple. Given that internet signal is generally poor across Egypt, we expected the homestay’s Wi-Fi to be weak too, but it turned out to be the best among several hotels we experienced—smooth enough to stream videos without any issues.
• Patrick (10/5): Relax - En France on appelle ce logement maison de poupée, tout est fonctionnel, propre et calme. J’ai mis 5 étoiles car on sait qu'à Abou Simbel les logements sont chers,ici vous avez un très bon rapport qualité/prix,vous disposez d’un logement assez spacieux comparer à une chambre d’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner se prend à l’hotel Tuya avec un accueil très chaleureux et amica. J’ai passé deux merveilleuses nuits sans un bruit.
• _April17th_ (10/5): Super logement à Abu simbel - Nous y avons passé une nuit et rien à redire, super accueil et disponibilité de Shaban, le logement est propre, spacieux et confortable, rue calme à moins de 15 min à pied des temples d'Abu simbel. Petit déjeuner à prendre au tuya hôtel à quelques minutes à pied. N'hésitez pas à réserver ici si vous souhaitez passez la nuit à abu simbel, encore merci à Shaban. Rien de négatif à signaler.

Tienen un hotel cercano al departamento, donde sirven un desayuno delicioso y completo, también fuimos por la tarde a almorzar al restaurante. Volveríamos 😃

He answered every question I had and went above and beyond to make arrangements for me. One of the best hosts I’ve ever had anywhere. Can’t think of how it could have been better.
• Catherine (10/5): Nice management - This property was managed by another hotel nearby called Tuya hotel. When we arrived, they told me one the sofa bed was broken by the previous guest, they have to repaired it, we can wait or upgrade us to room in Tuya hotel. So we stayed in Tuya actually. The apartment’s location is good, around 10mins. walk to the temple and 15mins. walk to town center & bus station.

• Jorge (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very confortable and wonderfully located. The host was helpful and very friendly. We did everything by foot, including going to the temples. You can use the free shuttle from the airport to the temples to go to the apartment, as it will stop on the way. Perfect!

• Mohammed (10/5): An awesome place and a great host for your Abu Simbel visit - The host was the best host we ever came across. He helped us with everything we needed, including transportation, entrance to the temple, food, a boat ride, and actually everything we needed help for whether big or small. He was very nice and made sure we are not in need of anything, with a smile. Also the apartment was great and clean and space was well utilized. It had everything we needed for a short stay, like water, juice, soap, instant coffee and tea. Also location wise it was very good, and close to the bus station, the hotel where the host works and can provide help when you need it, and the Abu Simbel temple itself. It’s about 20 minutes walk to the temple, but you also can take a tuktuk if you want.

• Faycel (10/5): Hidden Gem in Abu Simbal - Everything ! The location, the owner, everything in this apartment was great. If you will spent the night in Abu Simbal you definitely should stay in this apartment. 10 min by walk from the temple. The breakfast is included and it will in the nearby hotel Tuya which also a good place to take a drink or to eat while waiting for the night show. But the most important thing that you need to know is the kindness of the owner. He was helping us, before, during and after our stay. Thank you so much Nothing

• Iris (8/5): Very good - Fetching us from airport, having breakfast and bringing us back was a great thing. This was worth the higher price we payed. You can easily go by feed to the monument area. Restaurant is nice with good food. Contact was very good und ownwer nice too. the kitchen is not really usible. Missing a lot of stuff for a longer stay.

• Julius (10/5): Nice maisonette close to Abu Simbel - Friendly and responsive host Well-equipped Cute and spacious maisonette with nice decor and privacy The location on the map is wrong so we struggled to find it at first then the host came to pick us up and show the way The correct location is near the Bank of Egypt (follow the main street and when you see the bank of egypt turn right just in front of it) There was some water leaking on the bathroom floor
• Shaun (8/5): Very good - It matched the description well and we were pleased with the details provided like a hair-dryer, tissues, bits of food and plenty of water. The mattress on the bed was a little lumpy, I could feel the springs through the bedding.

• Shyaam (10/5): Convenient place to stay - Very well furnished and comfortable apartment. Per our request, we were provided with a stove and cooking utensils. 1 km from the Abu Simbel temple. We had our car and driver for the overnight stay, so it was easy to make the trip to the temple in the evening for the sound and light show (besides the morning visit ). Market with groceries and vegetables was about a 500 meter walk. • Marius (9/5): Superb - Location, amenities, value for the money and the host. After Luxor and Aswan it was very nice to feel the quiet in Abu Simbel. Nothing really. Just contact the host prior arriving. The adress on booking.com is not that acurate.

We was leaving to Cairo early morning around 05:00 but he did packed us breakfast. He is a very good and a honest man. I recommend who ever comes to Abu simbel to take Al Fouad.
• Fernando (10/5): Almost as good as Abusimbel Temple - Everything Shaaban is an incredible host, he took take of everything transportation from and to airport ( for free), getting tickets, recommended activities, he even get my a tooth brush. And didn't ask for any extra fee. The place also is great anything you need air-conditioned, fridge, stove, wifi, etc. Totally recommend it for your trip. And also when I had to leave early for temple he made a take away breakfast box. Only thing I would say was internet a little slow but enough to see Netflix and send emails. And also nothing near by to do groceries, of course not host fault. And also he recommended places to eat I did in tuya hotel wich is near by and loved the fish you must try it.
• Lola (10/5): Great apartment in Abu Simbel - An impeccably clean and cozy apartment within walking distance of both the Abu Simbel temples and the bus station. The responsive host's thoughtful gesture of providing coffee, tea, and snacks added to the comfort of our stay.
• Nataliia (3/5): Poor - Not worth of money but in Abu Simbel isn't big choice, so decide depending on your preference 1. Wrong location: they put in Booking and Google not correct location. We were choosing the accomodation by location - closer to water, views and we were looking for the place to be quiet at night for being able to sleep- no, in the place, that they put on map is public not functioning toilet only. The house itself is in the active city area and the bed in the house is literally 2 metres from the road, where starting from 4 am all the driving with beeping is happening - good sleep isn't possible 2. If you need the fridge, it's very loud at night 3. Bathroom is not clean. You take shower and water is everywhere, when you start removing water, you discover a lot of dust that you just managed to clean. 4. Kitchen exists but there is not much stuff for using and nothing for being able to clean that you used 5. They invite for breakfast many times pretending that it's kind of included but it's not included, they just want you to have breakfast in their hotel. 6. Bed doesn't have bedsheets for the blankets - for winter is the case. 7. And views from the windows go to the road only.

• Nephinovak (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the experience. There is absolutely anything we didn't like. The owner is very kind. He looked after us the whole time. The place is very cozy and clean and spacious. Perfect for 2 or one person. Highly, highly, AND, highly recommend. Great price. He will take you to a super close and clean and delicious restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He bought us our night show tickets (we paid him for them after but it was nice of him doing it). I could keep going to be honest. He sent someone to pick us up at the bus station in Abu Simbel (Tuk-tuk) free of charge because we took the public bus from Aswan. There was absolutely anything we didn't like. You can 100% trust him and his stuff at the restaurant he will take you.
• Ai (9/5): Superb - Shaaban is being very helpful during our stay. he helped us to arrange a tuk tuk driver to pick us up at the bus staation and arranged the shared van for us to go back to Aswan. the apartment is good for three people. the place is about 15mins walk to the temple. Breakfast at Tuya hotel is included. we had a really good time .

• Dephnny (10/5): A home away from home - The owner Shaaban is a very kind person. He let us drop off our luggage around 11am because our scheduled arrival was at 10:45. But then Egyptair did not only had an 1-hour delay with the flight, but they also left my luggage in Aswan, thus we stayed much longer at the Abu Simbel airport looking for my missing luggage. When we finally arrived at his apartment around 12:00, he greeted us with a smile. The apartment had everything we needed (I did not have my luggage so it was great to find shampoo, soap, shower gell in the bathroom), there were even 2 big bottles of water in the refrigerator. Apart from the good air conditioner, there was also an electrical fan that helped dry out my only clothes overnight so I only wear them again the next day. He treated us, his guests, like friends and tried to offer any help we needed. We were very grateful to be able to stay at his apartment, which is probably the 2nd nearest place to the temples one could stay (the closest is Tuya). It took us around 10-15 minutes to walk to the temples. He also helped us get tickets for the sound and light show, reserve a sunset boat on the Nassar Lake, find a shared bus to go to Aswan... just talk to him when you have any questions. PS Shaaban and a friend of his family talked to Egyptair on my behalf, I think that helped give the airlines company some pressure and resulted in the recovery of my luggage. Nothing
• Marco (9/5): Near Abu Simbel perfect for one night - Localization is perfect as you can walk to Abu Simbel Temple. Shaaban is really nice and great us in person for checking and checkout. He let us use bicycle and helped us to go to the market in town, that was really nice. Need to add a cook stove (there was only a kettle) He might have forgotten to put towels for shower.

• Anna (10/5): Great stay in Abu Simbel - The accomodation is clean and comfortable, greatly located (10min walking from temples). The owner is very welcoming, nice and available, he made everything easy for us, helped us to go back to Aswan. He also owns a restaurant nearby, which is also a nice place. Everything was perfect. The only point is that the accommodation is not correctly located on Booking although the address is right. Do not hesitate to call the owner when arriving :)

Great location in a walking distance to Abu simbel temple and shops. The owner has a hotel with restaurant where you can have meals. He helped us to take a transfer back to Aswan. Drain blockage in shower, bathroom flooded.
