• Simon (4/5): Host remained in this private rental....not really for us. - The property was a quiet and our room was of a good size The property was close to the metro and IFEMA, where I was working for the week, which was the main reason for staying there. The property is immaculately clean The host remained within the property and used the living space throughout our stay. Had we been aware that we would not have the property entirely to ourselves, we would not have booked this house. It was not made clear in the property's listing that the host would also be in the house with us, sleeping in the room across the hallway from us. Whilst I am sure some folk would be quite happy with this type of arrangement, it had not been our expectation and as such we found the experience just plain 'creepy'. It may have been improved had the host actually introduced himself when we arrived, provided some form of instruction on how things worked in the house, what was available for us to use (e.g. tea and coffee making facilities) however we were greeted upon arrival by Hugo (who we subsequently guessed was simply managing access to the house) and Alex remained in his upstairs room. During our stay the host pretty much kept himself to himself and did not really interract with us, on the occassions we did meet he was using the living space or kitchen, which simply reinforced our feeling that we were intruding on his space and this was not a space available for us.
• Maria (10/5): Great place - Smart, cozy private house with exceptional design in very quiet neighborhood, but just 2 stops by metro from city center. There are also free parking places on the street next to property. Everything was good.
