• Anne (8/5): Excellent place for last night on the Camino - Only a short walk off the Camino and a good location for the last night before walking into Santiago. We very much enjoyed the communal dinner, fabulous food and company Furniture and fittings are a little tired and need some maintenance
• Sandra (8/5): Our Stay - Just off the Camino by about 300 metres and easy to find. Evening meal was good but you pay a premium. We did not have breakfast so we cannot comment. Beds were comfortable. Although we did not make an issue out of it. The room we paid for was one that allegedly had a bath. The pictures that booking.com sent were nothing like the room we were given, neither did it have the bath that we thought would come with the room, this added to our disappointment. There was a pool which we used but it really was murky and the water needed to be clean.

Ist überteuert, kein Aufzug, Koffer müssen selbst getragen werden (ich habe einer ca. 70-jährigen Frau geholfen). Die Badausstattung ist alt, gebraucht und verschlissen. Dinner 35 € ist okay, aber nichts für Allergiker oder Veganer. Roastbeef mit Fritten für Veganer nur Fritten.

Das Menü zum Abendessen war umfangreich und sehr gut gekocht, guter Wein dazu. Ich würde unbedingt empfehlen, bei einem Besuch dieses Angebot wahrzunehmen! Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits vom Weg nach Santiago, der Umweg ist aber nur wenige 100m und mit Google Maps leicht zu finden gewesen. Lohnt sich.

• Elizabeth (5/5): Great property, has potential but missed the mark. - We had the dinner and that was the hi-lite of our stay! We were not impressed with the facilities at all. (Nice swimming pool). Felt like it needed a major facelift, old furniture, felt dirty & it has so much potential. Felt like it was just thrown together with old furniture. If they hired someone to come in and do an overhaul they could charge more money and it would be a fabulous place to stay. The gal from Portugal that works there was great, super friendly and helpful. Room felt old & dirty. Curtains you could see right thru them. We were on ground floor in a side building and the window doesn’t have a screen and there were cats outside fighting so we shut the window bc they were making loud cat fight noises & we were afraid they may come in window. Also afraid critters may climb in. It was blazing hot. No ac or fan to cool it down. New sheets & pillows a must, again, felt dirty and old.
• Krista (5/5): Gloomy - Beautiful architecture. A nice and quiet place for my last night of the camino. After 2 weeks of hostels it was good spot to rest and shower. Staff were not very helpful, youre not allowed to use any of the kitchen or dining amenities if not paying for the set dinner. I asked to use the kettle to make tea and they were really unhappy. Wouldn't provide a plate or any utensils for me to eat my grocery food off of.

Da keine Restaurants in der Nähe sind, gab es die Möglichkeit, gegen Aufpreis ein sehr leckeres und großzügiges Abendessen vor Ort zu bestellen. Der Tisch wurde für alle Gäste gemeinsam gedeckt. Die Zimmer waren sehr bequem und gut ausgestattet (Fön, elektrischer Schuhtrockner). Alles war wunderbar.

• Marie-Josée (5/5): Déception pour le souper mais peut-être circonstanciel - Situé à 500m du chemin, il ne reste que 11 km à faire pour atteindre Santiago et c’est ce que je cherchais. Très belle piscine. Les commentaires parlaient d’un souper de pèlerins très apprécié et je voulais l’expérimenter avant mon arrivée. Salle de bain moderne. Ma chambre était minuscule. on pouvait à peine circuler dans la chambre. L’électricité faisait peur. Le souper de pèlerins a été une grande déception. Seulement deux employés inexpérimentés qui ont été rapidement débordés. Certaines personnes avaient des allergies et il y a eu des mélanges. J’ose croire que ce n’est pas comme ça habituellement car les commentaires étaient bons. Le wifi était non fonctionnel.

• Raelynne (10/5): Was one of the many highlights of our trip - I loved everything about this guesthouse. As we were about to finish our Camino, it was a wonderful place to interact with fellow pilgrims . Our hostess was Rita and nothing was too much trouble for her. There was around 20 people staying and she managed everyone’s needs and requests without any problem, made sure we were all comfortable and they also provided a lovely very large meal. Highly recommend this guesthouse if you are in the area Nothing

• Silvia (8/5): Buena estancia - La tranquilidad del lugar, la comodidad de la piscina y el entorno, es un sitio muy adecuado para descansar y estar a gusto. El empleado que tenían en la casa hacía de todo (desde arreglar cosas, hacer las habitaciones, recepcionar nuevos huéspedes, cuidado y mantenimiento de la piscina, preparar y servir la cena, etc., y a veces todo a la vez), y siempre estaba disponible para cualquier necesidad y siempre con una sonrisa. Me parece desproporcionado pagar 14€/persona por un desayuno buffet que dista mucho de ese precio: 4 quesos y embutidos, bollería industrial, etc. Aún mayor estafa me parece cobrar 30€/persona (bebidas no incluidas en el precio) por una cena que consistía en un queso frito, unas croquetas de bolsa fritas, unos (4) langostinos fritos, y un "entrecot" con patatas fritas y verduras de bolsa (estando en una tierra como esta, y pagando ese precio, uno se podría esperar mejor calidad). Además, en nuestra habitación, se salía el agua de la ducha, lo que era la única incomodidad de nuestro alojamiento, un 10 en todo lo demás.

• Nathalie (9/5): Wunderschön - Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Anwesen hat einen besonderen Charme und der Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Öffnungszeiten der Poolbenutzung waren etwas kurz (bis 21 Uhr), das ist im Sommer etwas schade. Der Kaffee am Morgen war eher Standard.

Ilmeisesti omistaja kävi kuitenkin uskottelemassa, että allasta voi käyttää. Illallinen ei ollut hintansa arvoinen (30 eur). Sama työntekijä joutui hoitamaan uima-altaan puhdistuksen, illallisen valmistuksen ja asiakaspalvelun.

Had drinks by the pool and a great swim to cool off. Great communal dinner & breakfast. Lovely cosy beautiful hotel. Will stay again next Camino. Also I had left some clothing behind when packing for my last days walk into Santiago. Contacted the hotel and the staff were very helpful not only with communication but also promptly organising for my items to be sent on. Outstanding customer service from great staff in a beautiful hotel.
