Un très bon rapport qualité prix La douche qui était littéralement dans les toilettes sans rideau et avec vraiment peu d’espace donc tout était trempé Avis mitigé sur le petit déjeuner : c’était bon et fait maison mais nous nous attendions à un petit déjeuner traditionnel complet donc un peu déçues mais nous avons quand même apprécié. L’accès à l’hôtel en revanche est vraiment très compliqué.. ne vous aventurez pas si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise avec les chemins de terre très pentus 😅

Parking is either parallel to the hill or you can drive up the stone path to the parking lot above the accommodation. I recommend asking the host to guide you to the parking lot.

Breakfast nice taken in the garden. It's a 15 min walk to the castle and a few mins to the Gorica Bridge and river plenty of eateries 5 mins walk away. There are some steps but no problem unless you've mobility issues. Had a very relaxing stay. Such great hospitality.

• Madsen (9/5): Beautiful view - The hostess was so friendly and even though she struggled with speaking English, Google translate came to the rescue. She wanted to tell a little about the history of her place and she let us know some places we could go see. We also had help getting our luggage up to the rooms. We enjoyed the simple but filling breakfast that was included with the room. The view over the hillsides while eating breakfast was absolutely lovely. The room was very clean and there were some modern touches. It was bright and stayed cool. We did not have a view with our room but two steps out of our door was a couch and just outside the door were small bistro tables and chairs to be able to enjoy the view. It was hard to find the place at first. Maybe if we had kept our eyes peeled a little more, we would have seen the small signs. We were in a rental car and it said there was on-site parking. We expected to be able to drive right up to the place but that was not to be. We did get a spot at the bottom of the stairs and that is where the car stayed for the two nights we were there. There is a long flight of stairs to get up to the villa so if you have any knee or hip problems, beware that there are 50+ steps.

Vale a pena se estiver procurando al - A hospitalidade e suporte dos anfitriões para nos atendermos durante a estadia foram excepcionais. Café da manhã preparado pela anfitriã foi reconfortante. Banheiro sem separação para banho (box), com o vaso muito perto. Logo, ao tomar banho, todo o ambiente fica molhado. Não tem acesso para carro, havendo a necessidade de carregar as malas por muitos degraus. Um pouco de falta de privacidade com outros hóspedes, visto que passavam próximos a nossa janela para chegar ao quarto deles.

Вид из сада и из номера просто потрясающий, видно горы, город, очень красиво. Близко к центру города, вам нужно всего лишь спуститься вниз, это занимает 2 минуты.Крепость тоже недалеко. Завтрак был вкусный. Хозяйка даже познакомила нас со своими внуками. Все очень душевно и гостеприимно. Если будем ещё раз в Берате, то снова здесь остановимся!
• Mohamed (10/5): Estancia excepcional en el corazón de Berat con un trato inmejorable - Una de las mejores villas donde he estado nunca. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y todo muy cuidado. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro de Berat, y además resulta muy cómodo para aparcar si viajas en coche. Lo mejor de todo fue Adela: te hace sentir la cercanía con el pueblo desde el primer momento, es muy amable y atenta. Además, prepara un desayuno local espectacular, hecho con cariño, como si fuera para sus propios hijos. Recomendado 100%.

• scott (9/5): Charming and peaceful - We stayed two nights, and truly loved our experience! It started with a bit of an adventure, completely my fault, as I didn’t follow the host’s directions at first (lesson learned 😊). Be sure to park at the bottom and take the 100 steps up. Once we did it the right way, everything was smooth! The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset and in the evening. It’s about 100 steps down into the city and, of course, back up. That’s part of the charm and adds to the experience. We always felt very safe, and our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, even assisting us with our luggage. One added bonus: if you exit through the upper outdoor garage, it’s just a 15–20 minute walk to the entrance of the castle, which made exploring even more enjoyable. A quick note, if mobility is a concern, the stairs could be challenging. But if you’re up for a little climb, the views, location, and hospitality make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable stay! 🌄✨

Ils sont très serviables ils nous ont conseillées orientées pour aller vers le château avec un raccourci. La salle de bain peu pratique sans rideau de douche. Attention pour accéder au logement, beaucoup d’escaliers mais ça a son charme 😊

We arrived in the middle of the night, and were warmly welcomed. We tasted home made raki, very good. The rooms are simply furnished, clean. Very good location few minutes walk to the castle or town centre. All was fine and we enjoyed our stay in Berat very much.

Adele ist unheimlich nett und sehr hilfsbereit, sie spricht auch etwas Deutsch. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und einfach ausgestattet, für den Preis wirklich toll. Familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Kommunikation lief sehr unkompliziert.

The homemade breakfast was delicious including the fig jam. Our room was very clean and comfortable. (A quick note: you'll need to master the shower technique to keep the bathroom toilet and floor from getting soaked ;)) Above all, what truly made our stay special was the warmth and kindness of our host, Adela. Meeting her made us love Albania even more! The location is perfect, being close to the Old Town, the castle, and the bridge. We would absolutely love to stay there again if we have the chance.

Traumhafter Ausblick beim Frühstück. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Schloss und 10 min in die Altstadt Ich würde empfehlen unten beim Kreisverkehr zu parken, da die Straße nach oben eine Herausforderung ist. Achtung: ca 100 Meter Fußweg über Stufen. Diese sind gut machbar, jedoch für Personen mit Schwierigkeiten beim Gehen würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

• NOELIA (10/5): Alojamiento ideal para visitar Berat - Alojamiento de gestión familiar en muy buen ubicación para visitar la ciudad de Berat. Habitaciones reformadas, nuevas, limpias y cómodas. Buena comunicación con la propietaria, que tras la reserva nos indicó la mejor ubicación para dejar el coche y cómo acceder hasta el alojamiento. Asimismo estuvo dispuesta a atendernos y ayudarnos en todas nuestras necesidades. Por la mañana nos preparó un rico desayuno casero que pudimos degustar en la terracita con muy buena temperatura y vistas, así como mucha tranquilidad. Ubicación ideal para visitar Berat. El único punto negativo, que solo considero lo sea para personas con movilidad limitada, es que es necesario subir unas escaleras para llegar al alojamiento. Pero en realidad, este punto negativo (común a muchos alojamientos en Berat por su orografía) le confiere a la vez parte de su encanto.

Zudem war der Check-In sehr easy und die Zimmer sauber. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist selbstgemacht mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten und der Ausblick dabei super! Mit einem normalen Auto ist die Auffahrt zum oberen Parkplatz möglich, jedoch etwas holprig - mit meinem Geländewagen war’s aber kein Problem.

Extremamente prestativa, estava sempre pronta a atender toda e qualquer dúvida ou necessidade. Sua simpatia é superlativa. E o café da manhã que ela mesma prepara, servido em mesas localizadas num jardim com vista espetacular? Uma delícia! O acesso é através de uma escadaria que não tira o fôlego de ninguém (tenho 72 anos de idade). As acomodações são ótimas. Super recomendamos. Você vai adorar. Não há reparos a fazer. Ótimo estabelecimento. Ótima localização. Vista de tirar o fôlego. Anfitriã inesquecível.

The room was super clean, with a scenic view on the mountains. You can get to the old town by foot in 5 minutes max, and to the castle in 10 minutes. A home-made and delicious breakfast.

My stay turned out well. Steps are the big issue. If you miss the sign, you get into trouble. The staff carried bags to the room and were so helpful to make things right. Berat has lots of steps in general.
• Cassandra (9/5): - Emplacement idéal au cœur de la ville de berat, très bon accueil, chambre spacieuse et confortable, et bon petit dejeuner. Frigo un peu petit et seul parking public à proximité dispose de 3 places (de notre côté nous avons pu nous garer sur la dernière place restante)
• Luis (10/5): - Lo mejor sin duda Edis! Nos vino a buscar donde habíamos dejado el coche en cuanto le avisamos que habíamos llegado, y por si fuera poco nos lo aparco. Cómo llegamos un poco tarde nos ofreció cenar en el jardín del alojamiento. Casualidades de la vida, ese día tenía cena familiar en el alojamiento, así que nos puso una mesita con vistas de toda la ciudad y nos compartió su propia comida. Tanto él como Adela estuvieron atentos para hacernos la estancia lo mejor posible. El alojamiento tiene unas vistas preciosas y está ubicado a 5 min andando del centro. El lugar más auténtico de todos los que nos quedamos en Albania. Un 10!! Nada.
• Sindre (10/5): Flott hotell med fantastisk vertskap - Fantastisk vert som gjorde vårt opphold perfekt. Ligger fint til med gangavstand til borgen og bykjernen. Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet til andre😊
• Juliette (10/5): - Super rapport qualité prix. Situé sur les premières hauteurs de Berat, la vue est époustouflante. Place de parking gratuite sur place accessible par une montée parsemée de cailloux. Depuis la maison, un grand escalier est accessible pour rejoindre le centre ville en 5 minutes. Les hôtes sont plus qu’accueillant et seront vous faire passer un agréable séjour !
• Viviane (10/5): Gastfreundlich, nett, wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt! - Es war sauber, die Lage war richtig gut, alles zentral gegeben. Besonders die Gastfreundlichkeit möchten wir hervor heben. Es gab gleich ein Wasser, das Früstück war selbst gemacht und super lecker! Jeder Zeit wieder! Nichts
• Laura (9/5): Highly recommended - Hotel Villa Edis is a great place to stay during your holiday in Berat. It is located very close to the city center, as well as the castle. It is runed with love by family. Every morning they prepare delicious breakfast to start the day. Room is comfortable, it has a great fire and AC.
• Jakob (10/5): - Nette Gastgeberin, die sehr bemüht ist, Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben hat und uns mit Wasser und Obst begrüßt hat. Zimmer geräumig, super Blick aus dem Garten, schön zum Hinsetzen. Ein Duschvorhang wäre eine sinnvolle Ergänzung im Badezimmer.

• Albert (9/5): Muy cómodo y confortable. La anfitriona procura que disfrutes de tu estancia. Muy recomendable. - Habitación limpia, cómoda y funcional. Tenía un espacio común (balcón, ...) muy tranquilo y agradable, con vistas muy buenas al río y montaña. No estábamos en el 'casco antiguo', pero en menos de 2 minutos se llega. La dueña es super-amable, intentando en todo momento que estemos cómodos y disfrutemos de nuestra estancia. Muy recomendable!!!

• Monika K_K (7/5): Dobra baza na krótki pobyt przejazdem przez Berat - Bardzo miła właścicielka i jej mąż – świetny kontakt poprzez tłumacza online. Pokój i łazienka były czyste. Zostaliśmy fantastycznie powitani kawą, wodą i arbuzem, co było bardzo miłym gestem. Ponieważ mieliśmy wymeldowanie o godzinie 7:00, a śniadanie serwowane jest od 8:00, poprosiliśmy o śniadanie na wynos, które właścicielka z przyjemnością dla nas przygotowała. W pokoju była wystarczająca liczba kontaktów, a w łazience dostępna suszarka oraz kosmetyki, co zdecydowanie podniosło komfort pobytu. Widok bardzo ładny, choć nie na tą starą część miasta. Pokój był bardzo ciasny. Miejsce parkingowe nie znajdowało się bezpośrednio przy budynku, lecz wzdłuż stromej ulicy, w pewnym oddaleniu. Drugie miejsce parkingowe było bliżej, jednak wyłącznie dla samochodów typu crossover lub SUV, a takiego nie mieliśmy. Dojście do budynku z miejsca parkingowego prowadzi po stromych, kamiennych schodach - dołączam zdjęcie kawałka tych schodów, co zdecydowanie nie jest odpowiednie dla osób z problemami z poruszaniem się. Rozumiem, że to historyczne miasto, ale uważam, że taka informacja powinna znaleźć się w opisie obiektu. Z tego powodu nie wnieśliśmy naszej 20-kilogramowej walizki, na którą i tak nie byłoby zbyt wiele miejsca w pokoju. Dodatkowo okno pokoju wychodziło na wewnętrzne przejście, którym przechodził właściciel i inne osoby z apartamentu, co obniżało komfort odsłaniania okna - również zdjęcie dołączone. Trudno pisać o minusach, zwłaszcza przy tak miłych właścicielach, jednak uważam, że obiektywna opinia jest podstawą przy wyborze noclegu.
