• Hannah (10/5): Comfy and clean and well serviced daily - Fantastic 9 night stay. 15 min walk to beach and bars and shops. Rooms are spacious and well laid out and facilitated with everything to feel home from home. Staff are helpful and the vibe in this small resort is very peaceful A little more items for occasional food prep on the kitchen would help. Eg large bowl for salad, more glasses options. But all in very enjoyable and easy stay.

• Matthew (10/5): If you want a smaller, quieter oasis, with spacious rooms and your own kitchen, a well maintained pool with nice staff, - Cheerful, helpful staff. Very clean rooms, well tended grounds and pool, away from the crowds, it feels like the team here care for their property and customers. The pool furniture is very good quality and there was always space and availability of a lounger and parasols when it gets hot. Very much appreciated and used was the membership of the Beach House Club by the beach. This too is very well maintained and has great facilities including good showers and loungers with shade if needed. It is also close to the supermarket which is useful, as the Palm resort is a fair walk (in the heat of the day) from the centre of shopping. There are basic provisions for sale in the hotel lobby if needed. If there was a small bar offering cool drinks that would make it perfect. Otherwise, we were very impressed with the place.

• Deana (10/5): Awesome stay! - The acccomodations were exceptional. We stayed in the 2bedroom suite, and everything from the kitchen, to the bedroom, to the bathroom was perfect. The staff went above and beyond with everything and made our vacation wonderful. We felt spoiled yet integrated (like locals) as it was nestled inside of a gorgeous neighborhood, and a quick walk to restaurants, beaches, wine store and coffee shops. Location was perfect.

• Tanya (10/5): Fantastic, fabulous, beautiful, peaceful. - The location excellent, central, peaceful, the facilities was like being home from home, I would totally recommend it as a group holiday with my friends, the pickup (taxi) very Very friendly service, transport excellent plentiful. The sea at your finger tips, when I return next time I will hire a car. There isn't anything not to like, it's what you make of your time, I will return.

• Shabbir (4/5): Disappointing - The lady Amanda at the front desk is very Rude. She needs to change her attitude towards the customers. I believe hotel falls under the hospitality industry and the staff need to present themselves and behave in a polite manner. The apartment don't accept Diners Cards which they didnt ask us before swiping it. They swiped our Diners Card and then refunded the amount back. Which we still haven't received. For their mistake we were asked to wait and wait and wait to enter the room. Because they hadn't received the money which was their mistake. I requested her to let us enter the room and charge the card simultaneously. She instead attended other guests and we were made to wait and wait just wait. She was too Rude. Pls think twice before you go there.

Wash the shower curtains Explain the hot water for shower being solar. Had to have a cold shower on first day which I don't like. The pictures show a menu but no clear direction of how to get food if you are new.
• Tobi (7/5): Accurate Photos, Overall Decent Stay - Found and booked this place after I checked out of a VRBO booking in the area that I did not like. Walked to the property to ask questions and the staff was able to accomodate my stay, store my luggage and allowed a slightly early check in once room was available. Staff answered all my questions and were helpful I like the simple design and color of the room. Bed was spacious, unit was very spacious with a built walk-in closet that made it easy to store luggage out of sight. Information and basic necessicites were provided. Felt like parts of the room could have been cleaned a bit better, mostly the bathroom and kitchen sink. Wish more things like oil, seasonings, bug spray and cleaning products were provided. I had stayed in 3 other accomodations/properies during my stay in Barbados were those things were present. Didn't love the fact that the pool towels are $5 USD a day and laundry is $20 per load feels like they were attempting to nickle and dime in those areas.

ALSO BE CAREFUL IN DUTY FRE - Peaceful location with friendly birds that visited our balcony each day. Sometimes green monkeys but we did not see any. No on site food or drinks bar. Unbelievable TV functions. I just wanted to see a daily news programme.

• Rikia (8/5): Nice apartment and good location - The apartment was modern and clean; and location was very good. My preference is to have a shower head that can be removed as it’s more practical in a shower; especially with small children.
• Julie (8/5): Very good - The area was quiet and away from the noise of traffic. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and spotlessly clean en-suite facilities. There is a particularly handy area equipped with a modern shower , toilet, and drink making facilities, ideal for people with late flights. It means you can book out of your room and relax around the pool for the day until you need to set off for the airport. There was no private space with this particular apartment. We used the pool area which was ok as we only stayed 2 days.

• Denise (10/5): Exceptional - I loved this quaint hotel. It is very lush and secluded. The accommodations were clean and comfortable The staff is very accommodating. I didn't utilize the beach access card as a free beach was up the street a little. If you do use it at least it's refundable.

• Cathy (8/5): Wanted to eat more in apartment but not enough kitchen tools. Everything else was lovely. We’ve returned 5 times so far - The apartment was the right size, pool was clean.and fun. Rick ate fish cakes at your Thursday reception, then felt sick afterwards. Not enough kitchen gadgets…, missing oven-mitts, scissors, a chef knife, a bowl for salads, mug’s,, strainer for spaghetti, oven broiler pan. A friend who stayed at your resort said she was not happy there were so little kitchen tools and said she wouldn’t go there again.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and kind. Air con is required in the lounging space as well as the bedroom and it would benefit from on site catering/bar.

As there are no hospitality conveniences on site we had to bring in daily rations from nearest supermarket, over a mile away. Too remote being set at the back of Sunset Crest.

It is about 10 minutes walk to Holetown and the beach which was fine and there are plenty of buses to take you elsewhere on the island from there.

It’s in great condition and super comfortable. The pool is lovely and location of the hotel ideal - very walkable to Holetown, Sandy Lane and Paynes Bay beaches plus plenty of restaurants and a large supermarket. Nothing!
• Joanne (7/5): Stylish and spacious apartment away from the beach, shops and restaurants - Our apartment was stylish and spacious and the kitchenette was well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful and because it’s not a big resort we got to know the other guests The hotel is in the middle of a residential area so if you don’t have a rental car it’s a 15 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. I also didn’t like that pool towels and the crib cost extra

• Susan (10/5): Exceptional - It was set back from the hustle and bustle, so quiet and peaceful. And just a short walk to the beach, restaurants bars and shops. Such as Massy Supermarket for one. The pool was kept to a high standard and never got busy, always lounges available. The surroundings are so pretty and again kept to a high standard. I will come again with my husband next time. Just 2 small things, I would have liked a second hand towel for my son as we only had one between us, which we did not share. and a roasting dish to cook a chicken.

• Sunset (8/5): Gem of a Stay in Tropical Apartments - Location of apartments very good for busses and supermarket 15 mins walk- if you don’t have a car. Nice pool area and room available for check out day with showers which was very helpful. Apartments well equipped and housekeeping team friendly and great standard. Reception on hand for any queries /info - all in all a lovely place to stay. Nothing really - I guess a small bar/cafe would be good but it’s a small complex - ideal as a base if you don’t want hotel experience and prefer self catering.

• Oliver (10/5): Great location and very nice apartments for reasonable price. - The Palms Resort was just what we were looking for! The rooms were nice and clean and very comfortable. They had everything you need for a wonderful stay. We had 2 rooms between the family of 4. The ladies at reception were very obliging and made sure the rooms were close to each other. One of the rooms had a problem with the A/C and we were immediately moved to a different room - still close by. The pool and pool deck were perfect! very clean and plenty of loungers. Nothing really - no complaints from me!

We were not able to sit outside on the porch once in 3 weeks due to the secondary heat in our area which we believe was as a result of the laundry room next door. View from bedroom was poor and unappealing
• Adepeju (7/5): Homely apartment, adequate cooking utensils, wifi, netflix, usb charging ports & a/conditioning - The apartment was very clean and very homely. The staff were patient, attentive, helpful and smiled. The Swimming pool was not in service.
• Lisa (7/5): Adequate base but not great. Staff lovely though. - Staff were lovely. Bed soft. Decent space. Was given an alternative pool pass but only offered this after complaining ($50usd deposit). Pool was closed most days (unfortunate circumstances that was no one’s fault). AC was initially faulty - But repaired the same day. Generally grubby / run down but 3 stars so expected, I guess. Cooker was also a bit dodgy.

• Kristin (5/5): Passable - The room was nicely decorated, and the location was great. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. There was a death at the hotel due to a guest drowning in the pool 3 days before we arrived. There was a notice in an email attachment that I overlooked. So i found out the news from the receptionist when i checked in. This cause for concern about safety at the facility. The pool was closed off with caution tape, but I thought perhaps it was not appropriate to carry on business as usual in light of someone losing their life there so recently. I had a non refundable room, so there was no option to cancel. However, the staff was kind and friendly and highly professional.

• Astra (8/5): Very good - I liked the size, location and style of the property, I would stay again. The pool was nice and the room was comfortable. I felt safe and at home. The AC needs to be cleaned. The Wi-Fi dropped a few times.
