• Shirine (3/5): - The host made check-in very easy and was helpful with getting us settled. The apartment had good amenities, including a hairdryer, cutlery, and other basic essentials, which made our stay more convenient. The location was definitely a highlight. it’s very central with easy access to public transport, making it simple to get around London. We were “upgraded” to a bigger apartment, but it was located directly behind a shop on the main street. As two young women traveling alone, this didn’t feel very safe, especially since the second door separating the apartment from the shop couldn’t be locked. There were also cleanliness issues; stains on the bedding and towels, and the floors were dirty with trash left behind from previous guests (used tissues and a water bottle). Communication became a little difficult during our stay, as the host didn’t respond at all when we asked about leaving our luggage after check-out. The apartment mostly had UK plugs, with only two USB outlets, so we had to buy an adapter. One morning, two people tried to open the outside door and were banging on it, which was unsettling. Additionally, one of the showers was difficult to use. The temperature was hard to regulate, the showerhead leaked from multiple places, and the water pressure was pretty low (though the second shower worked fine). Overall, while the location and initial check-in process were positive, the cleanliness issues, safety concerns, and lack of communication outweighed the benefits for us. Although the apartment is relatively affordable, there are other places in London that offer better value for money. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Shower was horrible, burn one second then freeze you the next, absolutely tiny and the doors to the shower were broken. Dust and hair all over the place. There were no coffee cups, and tbh If there were, I would not use them as everything was covered in dust.

Al llegar al apartamento descubrimos que la misma llave metálica abría tanto nuestra habitación como la de otras inquilinas, a las que incluso despertamos sin querer. Esto nos hizo sentir muy inseguros durante toda la estancia, ya que cualquier persona con otra llave podía acceder a nuestras pertenencias. Considero que es un aspecto muy grave y que el alojamiento debería solucionarlo cuanto antes. Le escribí preguntando y preocupado por este tema nada mas llegar a la estancia, 4 días mas tarde seguimos sin respuesta.

Quando finalmente sono riuscita ad entrare, ho sentito una puzza terribile. Poi ho trovato capelli nel lavandino della cucina, la doccia sporchissima, il resto del bagno non ne parliamo... Non c'è neppure un armadio. Non ho avuto neppure il coraggio di aprire la valigia. Sono scappata e ho trovato un albergo in zona. Non dovrebbe essere su Booking un appartamento del genere.

The apartment will benefit a fix to the mechanism to the bathroom door. Having a microwave will be very beneficial as one can easily pop in food to eat rather warming it.

• Diego (8/5): Relación calidad precio correcta - Muy buena ubicación, muy cerca (incluso caminando) , de los puntos turísticos más relevantes de Londres. El anfitrión Sem, estuvo pendiente de ayudarnos para lograr ubicar nuestro equipaje ya que llegamos horas antes de la hora del check in. No tiene ascensor, no es que sea problema, pero esta bien que quede reflejado porque si llevas maletas grandes o hay alguna limitación es bueno saberlo, en nuestro caso era un segundo, aunque lo dicho, a nosotros no nos generó problema.
• Carla (10/5): 100% recomendable - Apartamento muy cómodo a 5 minutos a pie de Elephant and castle. Buen contacto con el anfitrión, le pedí un microondas porque mi apartamento no tenía y viajaba con una niña y al día siguiente me lo trajo. Cama muy cómoda. Por poner alguna pega, una de las puertas de la ducha se desmontaba al abrir, y habia poco flujo de agua, pero nada grave.
• Jorge (6/5): - La ubicación. En general, en entorno y el estudio son agradables y, para lo que es Londres centro, es difícil encontrar algo mejor de precio. SImplemente puntos a mejorar por si le sirven al propietario. Había cierta dejadez con los equipamientos: no había gel o champú (pese a estar instalado el dosificador), sólo había una sartén (ni un cazo, ni una olla), el secador del baño no funcionaba pero había otro por ahí... La presión del grifo del baño es bastante baja. Tampoco ha habido una atención fluida en ciertas ocasiones; preguntamos dónde dejar las llaves y no se nos contestó. No son cosas graves, pero sí creo que deberían estar más cuidadas teniendo en cuenta que son más de cien libras la noche.

• richard (7/5): it was good and good value - the location was great and near lots of different public transport locations. the kitchen was well equipped and everything worked well the bathroom door was very flimsy and difficult to open and close , we were attacked by insects every night we were there but couldn’t find where they were coming from

• Daniela (8/5): Estuvo bien - El lugar era amplio y bastante agradable Las camas muy blandas, no indicaba que era en un segundo piso, por lo que no es recomendable para ir con maletas grandes.
• Noemi (5/5): Mancanza di pulizia - La posizione è sicuramente uno dei pochi punti forti di questa struttura. Il primo giorno abbiamo camminato verso il centro mentre gli altri due abbiamo preso il bus. La pulizia dell'alloggio era decisamente scarsa. A partire dal divano letto per il quale non è stato neanche aperto perché pieno di polvere e sporcizia, inoltre le coperte messe a disposizione per il divano letto non erano sufficienti (c'era un lenzuolo abbastanza pulito e un copri materasso che ci siamo rifiutati di usare visto le macchie presenti e nessuna coperta). Il letto matrimoniale invece risultava pulito. Aprendo le persiane interne invece abbiamo trovato ricordi di precedenti affittuari (come avanzi di patatine fritte) oltre che una quantità esagerata di polvere. Le stoviglie e i piatti non li abbiamo utilizzati, quindi non posso affermare nulla. Invece nel bagno non era presente il phone. Insomma nel complesso tutto con scarsa pulizia, visto che ci dovevamo stare solo per dormire ci siamo adattati ma sinceramente ha deluso le mie aspettative. Questo è un commento di persone non fissate con la pulizia e con spirito di adattamento probabilmente altri al posto nostro avrebbero cercato un altro luogo dove dormire.

• M (1/5): False advertising. Disgusting place. Do not book. - Nothing Nothing good about this place. The apartment looked nothing like the photos. There was no air conditioning, even though the listing showed an A/C icon. It was over 30°C inside, and when I called the owner, he just said, “Yes, it is very hot.” After pushing him, he eventually dropped off a fan. Still boiling hot and impossible to sleep. The place was filthy - dust and grime all over the floor, under the bed, on the carpet, and in the bathroom. The toilet barely flushed and stank. The shower is raised and slippery, making it hard and dangerous to get in and out. Towels were disgusting, the soap was already used, and there was no liquid shower soap or shampoo. The cups were mouldy. The cooking area was tiny, dirty, and useless. The door locks were flimsy and didn’t feel secure at all. This place was a complete rip-off. Dirty, smelly, sweaty, unsafe. Absolute joke. Never again. Total scam.

The bed was comfortable but „sofa bed” was very bad, we weren’t able to set it up properly, it was falling down on one side. The owner was very responsive when we called him, but we sent some messages before the stay and there was no response at all. So it’s definitely better to call.

• Josip (2/5): Will not book it again. - Simple takeover of the keys at the entrance, the host shared the code of the box with the key in advance. The apartment was very cold, and the heater that was in was not enough to heat it during my stay (2 nights). I have mainly booked an apartment because it has a coffee machine (Nespresso) in pictures. Unfortunately, there was no coffee machine, which for me is a huge NO. Why lie to your customers?? The whole apartment is not clean, but the shower is a special story. Hair collection from the last five or even more visitors.Disgusting!
• Scott (8/5): Great location for Ministry of Sound - we had a lovely stay - Clear instructions on the joining email - which meant it was nice and simple to get into the studio. The studio flat was a good size, and for us going to the Ministry of Sound, the location was perfect (5 minute walk). I think we lucked in on the car parking, as that was just around the corner about a 30 second walk (although £12 / hr). We needed to eat, and there was a lovely Brazilian restaurant underneath the studio apartment. The bed was very comfortable too. As the bedroom windows were on the road side, the traffic noise was a bit loud for us (however we're used to zero noise as we live in the countryside!) Apart from that we were very satisfied - it was perfect for the night out we had
• Esme (4/5): UNPROFFESSIONAL RUDE DO NOT RECOMMEND. - My stay was okay. I left a very special and sentimental ring after communication with the owner of property he initially said one day I could collect I was unable to and since then he completely ignored me and then when finally spoken with him he was extremely unprofessional RUDE and did nothing or offered nothing for LOSING my sentimental ring which really upset me. As a good will gesture I would have appreciated some sort of something but NOTHING was offered and be blamed me completely. I would not recommend staying here as the staff/owner is not professional and does not handle situation well after me spending over £100. This is my honest experience and review.

Lots of toilet roll which is important 😆 Slightly dusty in places and sadly could not get the tv to pick up channels not a problem as we listened to music. • Aliki (4/5): SERIOUS ISSUE WITH CLEANLINESS. VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION - THE LOCATION IS REALLY CONVENIENT HAVING 2 UNDERGROUND STATIONS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. VERY CLOSE (20MIN WALKING) TO WESTMINSTER BRIDGE . CLEANLINESS IS OBVIOUSLY AN UNKNOWN WORD TO THE PROPERTY OWNERS/ MANAGERS. THE TOILET SEAT HAD URINE STAINS, THE SHOWER DRAIN WAS CLOGGED AND I HAD TO UNCLOG IT IN ORDER TO SHOWER. THE FLOOR WAS FULL OF DUST, HAIR ETC, WHILE NAILS WERE LEFT ON THE SMALL TABLE ATTACHED TO THE BED. THE ENTRANCE AND CORRIDOR/STAIRS WERE FULL OF LEAVES AND OTHER TRASH. THE DOOR HANDLE WAS BROKEN. I HAD TO CLEAN THE WHOLE ROOM WITH DISINFECTANT MYSELF.

• Thomson (6/5): Given that it's half the price of any local hotel, you can't expect 5 star. Great, quiet location. - Location is great. Felt safe wandering about at night on my own. Close to central London with plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Was located right on the tube line but it was really quiet at night. Not a lot of noise from others in the building either. Man, that shower is something else! I had to cover myself in bodywash first, then turn the water on and quickly rinse off before the water changed from scalding hot to freezing cold - and given that it was only a dribble of water that wasn't a great experience. I think maybe a bit more detail on the cleaning would have helped. I had to clean the one glass I used during my stay before I used it as it had marks from where others had drunk from it at the top. Otherwise, sheets and bed were clean. Room was cosy. All was good.

• Whitby (7/5): Good - The key was not in the locker, and I called the owner several times without a response. It was already 11 PM when he finally got back to me. He apologized for not placing the key in the locker and offered an alternative apartment in the same building that had a key available.
• Akb (6/5): Return visitor, as I like the convenience, but only do this if you have minimal luggage. - The location is good (close to Georges Circus amd Elephant and Castle). The studios here are mostly well setup with appliances, etc. Ensuite was small but functional. Having a decent kitchenette is useful for a quick meal or heating up takeaway. Would help to have a hook or two for hanging clothes. The shower was not clean - please ask cleaner to move the mat when cleaning! No instructions for Wifi or TV and really unclear how to access. Being up two floors with narrow stairs takes a bit of doing if you have luggage. However, the convenience makes it a viable option.
• Alexander (2/5): With multiple broken lamps, a damaged door, no cooperative contact and shallow promises ( no pics of the studio we were - The location The studio was a total mess. Apart from the fact that the studio we were assigned to was never seen or part of the shown pictures on booking, the Appartement was a mess. Multiple lights were broken , including the only light in the bathroom. Therefore the bathroom could only be used while the sun was up. The host was not cooperative, did not want to deal with our problems and came by once to deposit a little lamp in front of our Appartement (while we weren’t home). The door frame was also damaged and was almost ripped away from the door while opening it. The experience in this flat was nothing but dreadful, can’t recommend.

Nicely decorated The shower is either freezing cold or scorching hot. My daughter couldn’t get in. Tried altering tap by a milimeter to change but went from one extreme to another was annoying.

• Wael (9/5): Superb - Even though the studio is small, it's designed in a very clever way and functions fantastically. I'm a big human, and I was able to manoeuvre smoothly enough. Great location and cost. An extra helpful and pleasant team. The walls are a little thin but that's London buildings for you. Nothing too annoying though.
