• Wendy (10/5): Casual quiet cottage in a natural setting. - We stayed in 'The Captain's Cottage' which was small but had everything needed for a comfortable stay including a front deck with BBQ, and lounge chair. It overlooked 2 dams with waterlilies which was really peaceful. Sunny was very easy going and his accommodation is great value. It's just a short drive to supermarkets etc Nothing.

A bit out of town, but we were expecting that. Netflix was a bonus. Very clean on the surface, but if you look closely (like in the lamp shades), some cleaning has been neglected.

• Julie (10/5): Great property on beautiful grounds close to the beach, so the best of country and sea. - This is a beautiful property with a huge garden, dam and even a fire pit. It is only 15 minutes from the beach. Sunny was very welcoming and his dog is adorable! There was room for all our extended family and dog in the cottage. We had everything that we could want in the 2 bedroomed house. We had a wonderful long weekend, and would definitely love to stay again.

• Zofia (9/5): Perfect homely stay. - Really lovely place tucked away from the main road. We loved how tranquil our stay was, and so cosy. The bed was super comfy and had a great nights sleep. We stayed in ‘The Cottage’ and having aircon in both the bedroom and kitchen was a big bonus. Weren’t expecting the bedroom and kitchen to be separate so walking from one to the other after dark was a little difficult as we didn’t want too much light to attract the insects! Worked well though as then we didn’t get all the cooking smells in the room. Needed to google the oven/hob manual as the writing/symbols had nearly disappeared. Nothing a quick google search couldn’t solve for us but an updated photo of the appliance would be great for those without phones to clarify. Overall a perfect stay and just what we needed!

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was unreal. Waking up to a gorgeous view and the birds singing is everything one needs to have a restful stay, and this place has it. Thank you Sunny for being a great bloke and having a true paradise for people to come and enjoy. Can’t wait to be back!! I miss the doggies already!

I would have liked some communication about arrival and how to get into the property on the day I was due instead of having to wait and find out when I got there.

• Julia (10/5): Indeed a piece of paradise - It really is a piece of paradise. Sunny is an awesome host. So friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and well equipped. The view from the veranda was a highlight. I sat there for sone time just watching some wild living kangaroos hopping by and enjoy the grass in the beautiful garden. Another highlight were some fresh picked mangos from the garden - and of course Sunny’s dog, such a friendly soul too. When you want a place to slow down and enjoy the nature you should absolutely book the place ☺️

The interior feels like home. We were sitting on the terrace, just enjoying the silence and the nature. Sonny knows how to treat his guests. On our departure, we got freshly harvested mangoes. And finally, we saw kangaroos.

• Graeme (8/5): We often go to Agnes for Lunch...but first time in a long time we stayed over night - The 2 bedroom house was very nice and plenty of room, it was great size, nice kitchen..every thing was in new condition. with the rain over Christmas it was very lush green. presentation very impressed. quite confused about the property...as when we pulled up we honestly thought we drove up to a farm house...garage door up car being worked on??.. we were thinking we had this place to our selves..no..that is not the case..its a shared area the owners were really nice, but it was very different to what we are used to...were closed all the windows and blinds to have privacy, turned on the Air con to cool everything down as no aircons in bedrooms and the fans are very noisy. it was a lovely bathroom but the shower is so tiny and Im not a small person...

Notre logement était charmant avec très belle terrasse vue sur le jardin où l’on peut apercevoir des kangourous. C’est un peu loin du centre mais c’est le prix de la tranquillité. Faites vos courses au IGA et Bottle Mart à 3 km. Merci à notre hôte Sunny pour son excellent accueil.

So viel Grün, Kängurus die durch den Garten hüpfen, und Sunny und Chich waren die entspanntesten Gastgeber! Die Hütte war sehr süß eingerichtet und das Bett richtig bequem. Wenn man was finden müsste, dann vielleicht dass in der Küche eine kleine Grundausstattung an Salz, Pfeffer, Öl etc. gut getan hätte. Aber wirklich sehr große Empfehlung generell!

• Dagmar (10/5): Charmigt ställe - Vacker och rofylld trädgård fint rum. Väldigt charmigt ställe och trevlig värd, bra grillmöjligheter. Kängurur kom och hälsade på i skymningen! Pentryt var lite klent utrustat men ställets charmfaktor övervägde
• Georgina (10/5): - Loved the property, it was truly a piece of paradise! And the beautiful dog was a bonus :) Nothing!
