• Leanne (6/5): Nice apartment and ideal location. Couple of things let it down. - Ideal location Advertised as 2 bathrooms which is why I booked. In fact it is a separate toilet and a shower room. Chairs outside on the balcony had black mould on the chairs. Yes it is humid but this should have been cleaned off before we arrived.

• Ryan (5/5): Amazing photography and location, but the place is quite run down. - I loved the location, you couldn't get a more central location if you tried. It was right on the main strip, across from the lagoon and very close to cafes and bars. A lot of people have complained about the noise in reviews. yes, it is loud, but it didn't annoy me personally. These hosts have amazing photography on their listings. while I am not bashing the place, do be aware that the condition of the property is not as what it seems from the images. The property is on top of a set of shops on the top floor of a building, there are marks on the walls, water damage on the floors from what I could only assume is a leak from the shower. the floors were clean until you had no shoes on, then you could tell that the floors were quite dirty. The toilet doesn't have enough power to flush toilet paper most of the time. All in all, I loved the place due to the location, but after reading many other reviews, it seems the owner has not made any efforts to address previous issues. It is quite expensive per night, which I have no problem with, but if they spent some of that money to refurbish the place, it would be beautiful and well worth the money.

Doen trakk ikke ned etter deg som den skal. Det var generelt støvete på gulvet.

• Rebecca (6/5): Good value for money and prime location - Easy location There was dust on the window sills, bathroom architraves and the glass in the bathroom was quite dirty.
• Wallaby (8/5): Phenomenal location, large, airy property - BOOK NOW - After walking through a car park and up some back end stairs I was concerned at what I had booked. When I opened the door my jaw dropped!!! It was incredible!! Massive living space, and huge balcony with sea views, huge bedrooms and a power shower AND laundry. The couch was so big and so comfy I want it for my own house! WiFi was being dodgy and we received a new modem with just a simple message, communication was excellent. Location could not have been better - literally in the middle of everything and opposite the lagoons. Very, very pleased and will definitely stay here again. At night the bass of the music of a local club was a bit annoying - didn't keep us awake, or really bother us too much but it could really irritate others. Lots of stairs, so avoid if they will be a problem for you

• Sandra (6/5): Refer above - What breakfast? I was not advised that there were FOUR flights of stairs to get in and out of the apartment. Also the close proximity to the nightclubs was an issue. Also did not appreciate the neighbours who partied every night and and the smell of drugs wafted across into our balcony was very evident. The apartment itself was lovely and apart from the above met our expectations.

• Kelly (8/5): Great location if you’re a sound sleeper. - Nice and large space. Good kitchen with all the things you need. Great location with a short walk to get to the toddler pool and playground at the lagoon. It’s next door to a nightclub so you can hear the music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until 3am.
• Martine (9/5): Great apartment and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - It was very central, big apartment & very homely. The apartment had almost everything you would want/need. Noise at night from clubs, not bad, but you could hear it if you woke up during the night for any reason. It wasn’t loud enough to keep you awake though. The bedding was comfortable but the comforter didn’t have a cover, just 2 sheet covering it which meant if the sheets moved you could feel the scratchy comforter.

• Jesse (5/5): Did the job. Surrounded by nightclubs and very loud late into the night. Weird bathroom. - Location and view from balcony. Reasonably clean and tidy. Quite hilariously, the welcome message from the owners stated that there was to be “no noise after 9pm”, and that “this is not a party place and neither are any of the surrounding properties”. This would have been fine except for the fact that this property is quite literally surrounded by 3 seperate night clubs, all of which were pumping very loud base music until 2am. It didn’t bother me all that much, as I’d had enough to drink to get me to sleep alright, but it was hilariously hypocritical. I’d suggest the owners change this description, as if a family was staying here, it would have caused big problems. Also, the bathroom configuration was pretty weird and not really practical. Opening the front door was also akin to trying to remove Excalibur from the stone!
• Curtis (3/5): Not ideal. - The spaciousness of the property was great! The big lounge area and kitchen were the best parts of the place… Absolutely and utterly dissatisfied with how DIRTY the place was! What a let down! Such potential! At first glance I thought it were really nice inside the apartment and then as you look closer, there’s just layers of filth and pubic hair in the sheets and zero attempt at vacuuming the floors or maintaining any damage repairs… I was contemplating staying somewhere else after I kept finding other peoples hair or rubbish throughout the place, but unfortunately there wasn’t anywhere available.

• Anthony (3/5): No sleep till 3 am.....you can't make too much noise... - Central Airlie...walk to most things....balcony ocean view good kitchen and bedding. The requirements are to keep the noise down after 10 pm....don't bother because the Boom night club will keep you up till 3 am ....main bed walls shake from the bass....the other tenets from Red Cat will take your car park and there is no sign anywhere to indicate it's Blue Lagoon...no keys in box and the shower rose and dor are stuffed....not to mention the rubbish in the seating...not properly cleaned since October....kids Halloween items stuffed between cushions....and third floor stairs to get you gear up.....run away....run aways.....🤬
• Kathleen (7/5): Overall we had a great stay, enjoyed the large space of the apartment. - The apartment was a great size. The noise from the Boom night club was really loud right up to 3am, even Sunday night so it was hard to sleep properly. The kitchen tap was wobberly and the kitchen draws and cupboards a little dirty. The key to the door was a bit tricky and the lock was quite loose, it took us awhile to figure out how to lock the door as the key didnt work.

• L3n (10/5): Reat place for a weekend away to relax........... - Loved how central it was. Right on the main street and walking distance to everything you need, restaurants and the lagoons. Also you can see the Lagoons from the balcony. The place was gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. Negative is the 3 storey tread up the stairs with suitcases. It's also right next door to one of the clubs, so on the weekends, you're hearing the doof doof till 3am in the morning. The second bedroom doesn't have aircon, so it's very hot in the summer, even though it has 2 tower fans.
• Julie (3/5): The worst noise I have ever experienced with the DOOF DOOF nightclub next door every night till 3am. - We liked the spaciousness of the apartment and comfy beds and balcony. The apartment shares a wall with BOOM BOOM night club next door. This is not noted anywhere in the advertising material and it is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep from 8pm to 3am with the constant loud DOOF DOOF DOOF. I will never stay here again.

The downside to this property was that it has a common wall with the Boom nightclub next door and Bedroom one has significant noise from the night club on Friday and Saturday nights.

• Leanne (6/5): A lovely long weekend. - The location was easy walking to most things, in the centre of town very convenient. We even had a sliver of a lovely view. The unit was spacious & suited our needs. Boom Boom nightclub lived up to its name, right next door. Only other guest write ups disclosed this. The balcony floor was very dirty with old spills not cleaned, but inside the unit was clean. The toilet needs a plumbers attention with its flush as does a leaking fitting in the shower.

• Andrew (1/5): Apartment was fine, if you don’t want to sleep. - The noise from the nightclub next door was unbearable. It didn’t start until 10pm, and was relentless heavy bass dance music until 2am. This information should be an obligatory notice when advertising this property.
• Michelle (7/5): Very happy with our stay once we settled in - ear plugs, sheets and early nights - Fantastic views Great space for a family Close to everything Loved the kitchen and balcony might be a great idea to advise earplugs as each night at 8.00pm the night club next door starts up and the boom boom could be irrtating for many. I slept on a day bed in the lounge room which was fine except there are no curtains so its an early start and the sheets I requested were not supplied. Luckily Woolies is just up the road and open late. I also think I missed the memo about the apartment being up 2 flights of stairs.....
• Jaqualine (5/5): Unexpected Surprises - Size of apartment and balcony was good and position was handy to restaurants,lagoon,marina etc. No indication of property not having lift...we requested top floor and quiet position at time of booking. My partner is 72 and I am 60 and we really struggled to carry our suitcases up 6 flights of steep stairs (dangerous).. Property also shares adjoining wall with 7 nights a week very loud 8-3am Night Club. We could not sleep or sit on the balcony at night. Shower screen/walls not clean. Washing machine not fitted evenly so moved around. NO clothes dryer provided. Oven not clean producing heavy smell and smoke. 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner & 2 soaps only provided. T.V had no reception for 4 days and poor reception after that. Building security poor, main door always open as appeared to be used as emergency exit for Indian Restaurant on 1st floor of same building (OH&S)questionable? Our emergency exit would have been non existent if there were to be a fire on the restaurants level BELOW us !
• Montie (1/5): Booking.com and the provider of this accommodation are seriously negligent in offering this place without specific noise - 2br, spacious, with laundry facilities. the noise from the nightclub next door renders the space untenable for useful accommodation.
• Narell (6/5): worst and best location - it was lovely, furniture and fittings were great. spacious and good location for restaurants and lagoon. amazing views from the balcony. the noise was terrible. there should have been a warning that it was next door to a nightclub that was open till 3am with very loud music. toilet did not flush well
• Liam (5/5): Sleep is fleeting - Location wise, it was absolutely amazing. The property itself was spacious, and very clean and in great condition. You can literally see the Lagoon from the balcony. Amazing! This is a great stay for young people who are looking to party, you almost cannot get a better location, walk out the door and you're on the main drag with access to everything Airlie has to offer. I notice under the NOISE heading in the information sent to us about the stay, it says this is not a party property nor are the properties around us. This apartment literally shares a common wall with the Boom Nightclub? So from 9pm to 3am approximately, you can hear nothing but the thump of bass emanating through the walls. This did not make for an enjoyable stay for my family with a 1 year old and 4 year old, as sleep did not come easy at all. I notice nothing was said about this in the listing/description. Maybe a bit of a heads up would be nice if you were looking for a quiet stay with some quality shut eye, cause this is not it. Also if you are elderly or physically disabled, this is not for you due to the 2 flights of stairs for access to the apartment.
• Elska (5/5): Not an easy place to find but generally a nice size apartment. - Location good, walking distance to the cafes etc. Lagoon was very nice. Shower was in a bad need of renovation. The separate toilet room was very small. Noise from club underneath until quite late. Four sets of stairs to apartment - not ideal for pensioners.
