Guest Reviews
- Wendy (8/5): -
- Guest (8/5): It was a lovely place. - It was close to where I was working and very quiet. Great that it had rain water. The accomodation only had a coffee machine for coffee. I didn't know how to use it but I didn't like the coffee once I googled how to use it.
- Guest (9/5): - Quiet location, easy self-check-in, coffee machine, rain head shower, and overall a nice spot to stay. If I were to pick a minor negative, the bed was a little on the firm side (personal preference).
- Joe (9/5): - Very comfortable and well equipped. Off street parking would have been nice but not essential.
A couple of chairs would have helped. But appreciate shortage of space.
- Amanda (9/5): A really gorgeous place to stay! -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Peaceful quiet surroundings. Great location. Cute well displayed cottage
- Jasmin (10/5): Exceptional - This property was clean, aesthetic, great location and everything you could possibly need! We loved it and will definitely be back!!
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -

- Mason (8/5): I had the best stay. The cottage is in a great location if you like to hike. - The cottage is great. It's super clean, very comfortable and it's in a great location.
Matt was great and very helpful too. A little pop table and chairs would be great to have breakfast on.
And maybe a little clothes rack to hang some clothes up perhaps.
- Sophie (10/5): Amazing - It was a cute and charming with little distractions exactly what we were looking for The thing we were unsure of at the beginning of our stay ended up being a positive for our relationship the bathroom door doesn’t give much privacy
- Samantha (9/5): Peaceful, perfect, Pelham - The property was perfect for what we needed. Bed was extremely comfortable, had everything you needed for a weekend and Matt, Mercedes and Maple were very welcoming. Quiet street and surrounded by wildlife and nature. Very clean and beautifully renovated. Loved the bean bag seat. Shame we didn’t get to use the fire pit, if we weren’t there for a race we would have loved this. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a fly screen on a couple of windows as I’m not a huge fan of aircon and would have loved some fresh mountain air.
- Craig (5/5): It was ok - Bed was hard.
no power board in bathroom.
No hot water initially until last day.
Pin code incorrect
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Great little spot in Flaxton, very quiet cottage, we had a comfortable stay and it was really nice drinking tea and reading in the outdoor area.
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage, comfy bed, accomodating hosts. The cottage wasn't far from Montville.
- Brad (9/5): Superb -
- Maggie (8/5): Very good -
- Madeline (9/5): Superb - It was great. It's such a beautiful cottage and the location was good. I loved the little booklet; we took some the recommendations in there and had delicious breakfasts. Only thing that could have been slightly was the weather haha. No Internet to the TV for rainy nights and maybe some matches for the fire pit would have been good
- Caitlyn (10/5): Quiet home away from home. 10/10 - We stayed during some unfortunate weather and the area lost power around 10pm. Whilst heading to our car to collect a torch Matt met us with some lights as well as a power bank to charge our phones if we needed it. We could not recommend Pelham Cottage and Matt enough, we could not fault anything during our stay and Matt's hospitality made the night more enjoyable than we imagined.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication skills from the hosts. Quality appliances and gorgeous atmosphere.
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (3/5): Poor -
- Lauren (7/5): Stunning accomodation worth returning to if there’s a peaceful night’s sleep. - The facilities were amazing. The attention to detail was impressive. Loved the tea selection & coffee machine. Clean & aesthetically pleasing. It’s very trendy, comfortable and calming colour palette. You guys have done a wonderful job with it. There was a large rodent of some sort in the wall that was scratching quite loudly. It woke me up during the night & kept me awake for some time. I would give this accomodation 9+ out of 10 if it wasn’t for the sleep disruption.
- Claude (9/5): Very cute, neat and clean cottage. - Location, everything well done and clean.
- Ryan (10/5): Had a great and comfortable stay. Matt was super kind too. - Lovely and clean.
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (10/5): Super cute little getaway, amazing location next to Kondallila Falls 🙌🏼 - Such a lovely cute little cottage - beautifully restored and very comfy! The only thing I’d call out is that the WiFi range is a little low but the host has let me know he’s going to fix this, so shouldn’t be a problem for future guests!
- Marilyn (9/5): Would be happy to stay here again . - Tastefull decor, very peacefull,
A couple of chairs in the cottage would be good . Although small , a coupwle of seats of some sort would be good 🙂
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Being away from technology. Seeing the stars at night surrounded by the fairy light garden area.
