• stef (9/5): - Goed en vriendelijk onthaal en de voldoende koffie . Ook de mogelijkheid om nog een klein snack te nemen

• Jan (9/5): Hulde aan Hilde; we komen graag nog een keer terug. - Een heel rustige locatie, naast een oude spoorweg, die kennelijk alleen maar in het weekend in het zomerseizoen gebruikt wordt. We mochten gebruik maken van de keuken faciliteit voor ons eigen ontbijt en ook buiten in het zonnetje ontbijten. Heerlijk !! Prachtige ruime badkamer met een groot bad (voor de liefhebbers). Wij waren de enige gasten , dus hoefden we de badkamer niet te delen. Dat zou een tegenvaller kunnen zijn.

• Alfred (10/5): Der Name der Unterkunft trifft zu 100% zu. - Die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und kommunikativ. Die Räumlichkeiten(ZIMMER, BAD) waren gross und komfortabel. Wir konnten die Küche incl. Kühlschrank, das Esszimmer und den Garten mitbenutzen und es war alles vorhanden(Kaffee, Milch,Pfeffer, Salz,Öl usw.). Auch wurden Getränke (Wasser, Bier,Wein) angeboten. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. DieLage ist für einen Trip nach Antwerpen, Brügge, Gent genial. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. • Belinda (10/5): Wonderful location and private. - It was a great location to our family. It was quiet and peaceful stay. Even the trains that passed right next to the house were quiet. We would have liked a TV in the evening since the lamps next to the bed were cute but not good for reading in bed.
• Marion (9/5): This was one of the most comfortable and lovely places we’ve booked. - The large garden and kitchen for guest use. The room is spacious, with extra goodies and use of bathrobes. The toilet and bathroom are not shared.
• Silva (9/5): A Perfect Stay in Balgerhoeke! - We had a wonderful two-night stay at this charming B&B. The host was absolutely fantastic—so kind, welcoming, and attentive. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home, providing complimentary treats like capsule coffee, chocolate, water, and fresh fruit in the room. The guest accommodation is a private room in the host’s home, but you have exclusive access to your own bathroom and toilet. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped, including bathrobes, a hairdryer, and blackout blinds for a perfect night’s sleep. Parking is easy with plenty of space in the courtyard. You can come and go as you please, and there's even a lovely garden to relax in. The resident Jack Russell and cat are adorable but kept at a distance from guests unless you want to meet them. Breakfast is definitely worth adding—fresh pastries, eggs, ham, salmon, jams, yogurt, and even sparkling wine on Sundays! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. What truly made this stay special was the host’s warmth and hospitality. It felt like staying with family, and we would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!
