However host tried to charge us an extra €40 for late check in even though t - Great location Host tried to charge us an extra €40 for late check in even though the process is a self check in. When we refused as he couldn’t explain why we had to pay €40, we were able to check in without this charge. This also wasn’t communicated until the day before and it is not obviously noted anywhere in the booking. Very basic apartment very dark and musty. Fine for 1/2 nights.

• pierre (2/5): - Impossible d'utiliser les appareils électriques de la cuisine, notamment plaques chauffantes même au minimum, sans faire sauter le disjoncteur qu'il faut aller réenclencher dans la cour dehors en bas de l'escalier. Même chose pour le micro ondes, de plus perché à 2,50 m d'altitude, ce qui est dangereux. Frigo quasi inexistant. Télé ne fonctionne pas

Очень холодный и неуютный аппартамент, вроде бы все необходимое есть, но все задрипаное, старое, ледяной каменный пол, хорошо что были с собой тапоки одноразовые, белье плохое и подушки ужасные, все кое как, комары, нет сеток и штор. На 4 ночи один рулон туалетной бумаги на двоих, маленькое мыло на один раз, на кухне нет полотенца, покупали сами бумажное!

Found bldg but access info sent on Whatsapp which I wasn't able to receive. No answer at lodging phone # causing us to stand in rain 1 1/2 hours. I think it should be clear that instructions are sent on Whatsapp. Room adequate for price but so small there's nowhere for suitcases. A starter coffee supply would have been great. Difficult to take shower due to handheld sprayer and no water barrier

• Paul (9/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar. - De airco was welkom. Kleine maar gerieflijke kamer, het nodige was er en niets overbodigs. En de ligging was super. Lekker rustig en kort bij de vaporetto halte. We hadden absolute privacy maar de eigenaar was via Whatsapp zeer behulpzaam.

• Margarida (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment had everything needed for our stay. I want to emphasize the fantastic location. It is a 3 minute walk from Giglio vaporetto but it is also very central and cloae to the theatre and San Marco. It is very charming to open the window straight to the canal. Also a great thank you to the host who was always attentive and gave very good suggestions (especially Al Profeta restaurant!)

• Robert (10/5): Good basic accomodation! - For my budget, this was an excellent choice. Clean, quiet, airy. 2 windows looking out to an old courtyard & another 2 overlooking a small canal. Stocked with some basics, suited for prepping simple meals. Host was responsive, informative, helpful & very accommodating. Nice location. Little Campo Maurizio right out the door, bigger Campo Santo Stefano 2 min further. Alilaguna Ferry goes from airport to Giglio stop, walk just 3 min down a couple of alleys and you're there. EASIEST hassle free entrance into Venice I've ever experienced!

• Giovanni (6/5): Pleasant - Perfect position for visiting the centre of Venice Quiet excepted when elevator to other properties is in use (the flat itself cannot be reached by lit). Fast response of the flat manager Ongoing works in the building (April 2024) generating dust and noise. Steep access staircase with no elevator. Small bedroom, uncomfortable mattress and pillows, flat in need of serious redecorating in particular a full makeover of the bathroom; access door to the bathroom cannot be fully opened due to limited space in the bedroom, Limited number of accessible electric plugs. Gas boiler ancient and noisy, no shower hook and curtains, access to bathtub/shower difficult for anybody above 170cm. Not suitable for person with any mobility issues. No storage facilities provided Not much natural light as the mezzanine flat is looking into the internal courtyard on one side and a tight canal on the opposite side.

• Rimmer (7/5): A pleasant stay in a quiet conveniently located little flat. - Very good location. Comfy bed. Inside the apartment was very clean. Bathroom was good. Flat was a bit small. Better pillows needed. However, would stay there again because of the location and price.
• Thomas (9/5): Ca'Molin met our needs and we couldn't beat the location in the heart of Venice. - The location was terrific. The rooms were clean and met our needs. It was a little confusing to get first access. I recommend putting the address number of the building in the address line. We found the piazza it was, in but had to call to get the exact address. Also, let travelers know, that they consider the ground floor, floor 0 and not the first floor like in the U.S.

• Dorrie (10/5): A perfect place to explore the old city from. - The location was fantastic and despite its size the apartment was very comfortable. It was a little dusty but that was understandable with the building restoration.
• Jade (8/5): comfortable apartment with good facilities - Door was unlocked remotely by host, who was easy to contact via WhatsApp. Apartment was beautiful with necessary facilities, including A/C, mini washing machine and fridge. Construction was happening at the site at the time of our stay. the active construction caused plaster dust that made the apartment tricky to keep clean and also caused some respiratory discomfort. the scaffolding blocked the windows so the windows overlooking the canal in the bathroom and bedroom couldn't be opened. additionally, active works were occurring at the time and so we were awoken in the early morning by people standing and working right outside our window which was a bit awkward

• Hedy (9/5): Had a fun little time at Ca’Molin. The location was not reslly in the centre of the island which was great for discoveri - Cute, italian style. Liked that there were a lot of books to look at. The door down stairs was hard to get in but a member of the house helped us a bit and that was nice. The bath had some dirtyness but nothing that would kill the mood. Oh and, the wake up call from the builders was a little too early but also nothing wrong with that.
• Alan (8/5): Location great, value for money - Location was excellent, easy walking distance to major attractions. The host Jacopo was very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs, e.g. more shower gel. There was no shower curtain so water splashed everywhere making the floor wet.
• Frederick (6/5): Pleasant - Location was excellent. Liked having the small kitchenette. TONS of mosquitoes! We fought them our entire stay & had lots of bites. Major construction so noise from 8-17:00 daily.

• Meropi (3/5): Poor - The location is good . We arrived at 22:30 so we had to self check in . After some difficulties in the communication with the owner about the check in , we managed to arrive , but the place was absolutely terrifing at night . We also had a small difficulty with the keys but the owner wasn't really in the mood to help us . After all the place isn't clean enough in my opinion and not worth for 120€ per night for sure.
• Tom (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent, perfect for a few nights. Bed was comfy and there was all your basics in the kitchen if you wanted to make food at home rather than going out. Bedroom window amazing. Flat Screen TV did not work, washing machine in toilet but not connected.
