Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Guest Reviews
- Amy (7/5): Good stay for a group, needs more amenities - The living area was really great and the couch was comfortable, location was nice and the floor plan for the venue was really nice for our group.
I would stay here again but needs to have a deeper clean and more amenities for sleeping 14 Amenities were below par, we had to bring our own toilet paper as only 3 rolls were supplied for 14 adults for a multiple day trip, with no more in storage,
Not enough hand towels for bathrooms supplied also.
Bedding $30 per bed is too expensive
In the kitchen all the glasses were dirty in the cupboard.

- Dan (1/5): Don't stay here! - The location to the beach was good. We arrived to the house being dirty as though it had been cleaned a month ago. The house smelt like vomit and there were towels left in the dryer. The kitchen cooker was dirty, under the couch had not been vacuumed, everything looked like it had been wiped down with a dirty wet cloth, and there was a tree in the side yard that had split and was leaning against the house blocking the exit from the top floor. Generally, the house was very run down with broken furniture, ripped fly screens and no general maintenance, along with stains over the carpets, on the laundry wall, and a bad smell. There was also the bonus of a dead rat in the yard!
When we contacted Phillip Island Holiday Homes, they advised to take photos and send them through and that they would send a cleaner around. The cleaner came with a few cleaning supplies and an attitude. After her questioning if we were ocd, it took us showing her our concerns and she realized the state the house was in and offered to advise PIHH that the smell was unpleasant and that we should be moved.
However, PIHH advised us that they did not think that the photos matched our concerns. It took re-mentioning the tree and that this was a fire hazard, for them to agree to move us to another property at no extra cost. The original person who we spoke with left for the day with no handover to the next person, who we needed to explain everything to again! When they said they needed to speak with their manager and call us back, they advised that the manager had in fact gone home when we pressured to speak to the manager.
When we arrived at the new house, we needed to wait for the cleaner to finish a few hours later. We appreciated being moved however, there was no internet available at the new property, even though the house was far better than the first.
Generally I would not recommend Phillip Island Holiday Homes to anyone.
- Kathy (8/5): We've stayed at Cois Tra 2 years running. Lots of beautiful memories made with our family. - We loved the upstairs living space and outside deck. Also the parking space. A fly screen is missing on one of the bedrooms downstairs and a clothes line would be great
- Mohammed Imran (8/5): Clean & comfortable stay for the whole family. - Very nice and clean place with all Amenities. Good location on Phillip Island close to everything. Enjoyed our stay. Only comment is with respect to hot water. You need to follow instructions and boost heater.
- John (10/5): -
- Michelle (5/5): We enjoyed our time at Cois Tra - The property was well set up with everything you would need We had to do a bit of cleaning on arrival which was not ideal. We didn’t utilise the upper deck as a few of the boards seemed a little unstable when walking on them.
- Le (8/5): Very good -
- Russell (7/5): good - There could be a few hangers in each cupboard, there were none in the house.
- Kathy (8/5): A memorable holiday for us at the beautiful Cois Tra. Hope to return next year - The layout of the house was ideal for our family holiday. I especially loved the beautiful well appointed central living/kitchen/dining area upstairs. The Irish welcome in the kitchen put a smile on my face. ☘️ The carpet in some areas up and downstairs had some pretty nasty stains.
- Zahra (7/5): Good -
- Shannon (9/5): Awesome place to get away -
- Stefanie (7/5): Location and space of home were really good for a large family or two, but had to keep kids away from backyard due to da - Location to town and beach. Walking distance to Cowes main strip. Backyard very unsafe for kids and animals. Large tree in backyard produces prickly balls that were all over the grass and our daughter had spikes all over her when playing and in a lot of pain. Caused her to get large spikes all over her feet, legs and hands.
- Jodi (8/5): Very good -
- Rasini (10/5): Comfortable holiday home - Really nice, comfortable and spacious home. Thank you for extending the checkout time. Having two TVs was great for entertainment.
- Caitlin (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (8/5): All good, would stay again - Great location, great facilities No complaints
- Sarah (10/5): thanks so much! perfect for what we needed 😊 - excellent for families
- Wendy (10/5): What a fabulous property. Everything is thought of. I really appreciated a quality frypan to make breakfast with. Highly - It was very well presented. Very clean and nicely decorated. I can’t fault it. Excellent property. Nothing I didn’t like really but if I may make a suggestion. Put a power point in top bathroom. I can blind dry my hair but I was surprised there was no power point in the bathroom.
