Guest Reviews
- Annette (8/5): - Location and how clean the property was No information sheet
- McCaw (9/5): -

- Margaret (6/5): Over all I was very happy that I was close to the hospital, thank you. - The apartment was in a great position for me to visit the hospital. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities on your doorstep. Some attention to detail and maintenance is required in the apartment. There was no guest information booklet explaining things eg where to put your rubbish, what to do with key on departing. Crockery should be addressed eg chipped cups and plates, limited glasses and no wine glasses, only 2 eating knives. Handles on the large pot were loose and there was no frypan. No tea towel in the apartment. The microwave would start beeping on its own as if running through a program…did this all night. Was often left having a cold shower.
- teresa (10/5): -
- Kylie (7/5): Great location, but take on feedback - Close to hospitals and supermarket, owners were easily contactable,
Bathroom very clean! Upon arrival code that I was given was incorrect (fixed easily with a call)
TV Remote missing (found under couch)
No tea spoons (I purchased and left behind for future visitors)
Queen bed is very firm (not bad I just like a little softer)
Maybe extra pillows would be great as the ones there (3 in total) are quite flat!
Hot water takes quite a while to come through but does eventually get hot (one morning took 10 mins of running water to get hot) waste of water.
MICROWAVE started beeping on its own at 2am, I had not used at all since getting to apartment. Had to pull out of cabinet to switch off, attempted to use on multiple occasions and would not work, it appears that the number 3 button is pressed in and nothing else works...
smudgemarks and finger prints all over kitchen.
- Lucy (1/5): Disgusting - The worst experience.
I booked this room as it was close to the hospitals. Worst experience and service.
We had to wait over an hour to check in due to room needing over '5 hours cleaning'. Regardless we patiently waited and when we arrived to the room it was disgusting. Not something you'd want to stay at. Nevertheless it was late by the time we checked in so stayed the night.
We noticed multiple things:
- wet dishes in cupboard
- blood on sheets
- fake nail in cupboard and cigarette on couch
- what appeared to be vomit on the side of bed and on the carpet
- vomit on bed frame
- marks all over wall
And much more, but once we had seen this it was hard to trust the quality of hygiene.
I never write negative reviews and please trust me when you read this, this place is not worth it. Stay elsewhere.. for cheaper and better quality.
Even after telling the hosts about what we experienced and sending photos, they tried to implicate us as causing the damage/ dirt. The only way we got out of it was with the mediation of bookings.com. We did not get any discount or refund- only able to check out early.
Again avoid this place at all cost especially if you are staying because it's close to the hospital, hygiene is horrific and I doubt they even wash their sheets.
- Peter (10/5): -
- Christine How (9/5): -
- Catherine (7/5): Ok but could of been better - More than enough room There was no milk or tea and no shampoo . Only a small amount of conditioner and coffee. No face washers or teaspoons
- Luke (4/5): Poor communication but suffice - Location to Royal Women's hospital for specialist. Availability. No jug and no microwave they had a oven but who wants to cook anything.
The towels were old but clean.
The sheets were old but had old blood spots/stains on
them.
As far as the putting the key back, anyone with a disability would have trouble getting back in the key lock it was way too high. The property was well aware of this and yet confusion was met with reporting of "lost keys" to the police when security wasnt available until after 4pm to review footage? No apologies for misunderstanding which makes me feel the need to give a realistic review. I don't like the way you messaged mw when my mother was under duress when it was a lack of communication.
- Melissa (7/5): Good - No cooking equipment like Frying pans & tongs
- Chris (1/5): Not happy - Having booked believing there was parking available we arrived to find no key in safe box, and on ringing Owners they turned up to inform us that it is street parking only, which was not acceptable as we had medical appointments all day at the hospital on 2 days, which would ultimately finish in us getting rather large parking fines. I told the owner that she could cancel the booking and refund us. She informed us she would contact booking.com to arrange same.
I found a motel around the corner who bent over backwards to accommodate us. AND THEY HAD SECURE PARKING.
Still awaiting refund
- Dorjnamjim (5/5): Had roach, check-in was weird - I had to kill a roach
- Anita (2/5): PUTRID. FILTHY. ASTHMA INDUCING APARTMENT. OWNER IS UNAPPROACHABLE &DISINTERESTED IN GUESTS COMFORT - Filthy. Owner/manager not interested in feedback. Wouldnt look at "issues" we raised although she was in the building.relayed to us that "cleaner SAID they had done a thorough clean.". Toilet had faeces under the lid and on seat. Coffe mug rings on couch. Dusty surfaces. Smelly pillow and hadn't been changed from previous clients. Cold shower water. Clogged shower and bathroom sink drains. hair and grime under shower drain plug neede industrila clean.Dirty stove and fridge . veranda and sliding door track beyond dirty. Skirted dirty. Marked and stained walls. Food bits under stools and table. Cracked drink cups. No teaspoons.. NOT ONE SURFACE WAS UP TO PAR.we took pics as proof of our feedback but owner reneged on promise to give email address to view. DISGUSTING. IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA OR HAYFEVER Avoid THIS DUMP LIKE THE PLAGUE..BTW no dryer, not hot shower water or parking at complex. Contrary to ad.
- Jenna (10/5): Great location and safe - Location was amazing! Single bed wasnt the greatest but still OK and the rubbish system took some getting used to. Nothing really bad to say about the property.
- Gerald (5/5): Had to wait till 6 pm to go in to the unit not good enough - Close to the Royal Melbourne Hospital Close to the hospital
- Nhu (9/5): Very good - Easy to travel to CBD, quiet, tranqill Bed in small bed room.
- Maree (4/5): Disappointing - Location was perfect No hot water, a lot of outside noise, single bed very noisy too, slept on the lounge as bedroom noise too much
- Chris (4/5): It served its purpose. Hospital visit. - Secured site. The owner of the property was great to communicate with. I had arrived early to the site, and i could not leave luggage at the front office. as there was no secured room. So we hired a luggage locker in the local area until the appartment came available.
upon arrival, the cleaning of the appartment was poor. Windows and mirror back splash were smeary as and a list of other things.
I think with a good cleaner the appartment would make a great location.
- Rebecca (5/5): Passable -
- Olivia (5/5): Passable - Good location, easy to find Wrong code given before arrival for lockbox, took a bit to get a response, water was cold most of the stay, last day took about 25minutes to heat up
- Emma (7/5): Good - Perfect location for hospital visits
Clean and tidy
Food options close by Communication not great upon lockbox key access error- given wrong code and couldn't access the apartment - no answer on message or both phone numbers provided. It was close to 3 hours later that we finally contacted someone and got a different code to access (with a newborn baby in tow at 9pm)
Second bed was quite uncomfortable and incredibly loud/creaky with the slightest movement
Lamps on the bedsides would be great
Extra towels would be useful
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ambar (7/5): Awkward owner - The area is ok afterall. Just the owner kinda make the vibes weird and awkward at first. That's all I can said.
The owner is helping whit the bag then taking photos of people who will be staying at your place then make it awkward it's not nice.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Really convenient to the hospital and very comfy. - Always hard to find lock boxes, a little time consuming but you get there in the end. nothing
- David (2/5): No stay. Room already booked to someone else - Booked and paid then phone call to say room was already occupied. Can only get refund through Booking. Com
- Briony (1/5): Terrible and would never book this property again. - Arrived to find a dirty condom on the floor and black mold in the fans. I spent 2 days cleaning the apartment because it was so dirty. This was raised with the owner who insinuated that I was lying. The owner came to the apartment and stated I should just clean the fans myself and didn't see a valid reason for the complaint. I vacated the apartment straight away and had to find somewhere else to stay. The owner was not accommodating at all.
- Elliot (9/5): Superb - Close to the hospital. The bed was very comfortable and having the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer made life easy. Host was a good communicator.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (8/5): Edge of the Melbourne apartment - Located perfectly for easy access to Melbourne Hospitals, Moonee Valley and to the central area of Melbourne. The apartment was spacious, quite modern
and had all the basics. A handy IGA mini supermarket across the road and a number of small eateries right around the corner. The pillows need updating and more of.
Wine glasses and more cutlery would be handy.
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hellen (9/5): Superb - Location was great, close to everything, great choice of restaurants within walking distance
Very safe neighbourhood. Parking was a bit tricky, but no big inconvenience.
- Ian (8/5): Very clean & tidy, great location. - Probably needed a bedside lamp, hair dryer and facecloths would have made it a better stay.
- Kazz (10/5): Great location - Close to hospital Two room
- Lakeman (10/5): Exceptional - Needed to be close to the hospital and was that.
- Melinda (5/5): Passable -
- Deema (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and cosy, good communication from owners, I could contact them anytime
- Christine (1/5): Bad -
- Victoria (8/5): Perfect for our trip down to watch the footy and do a bit of shopping. Think it was only 3 or 4 train stops into the cit - Great location and plenty of on street parking close by.
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- Ross (7/5): Good -
- Archna (8/5): Very good - Comfortable place with all amenities. Proximity to trams and restaurants. A bedside table lamp would have been ideal.
- Melenaite (6/5): Pleasant - I put down time of arrival but still had to wait 3 hours to check in. Also giving me a hard time with an invoice request
- Stacey (9/5): Perfect little place for a short stay, especially great proximity to the hospital district. - The location was perfect. The security for the building was really good, comfortable little apartment. The shower took a long time to get warm
- Lexie (8/5): Very good - Location and price was unreal. No hot water..not sure why??
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belinda (8/5): Very good - Stayed for 2 nights. Super convenient location for the hospital. Easy instructions to get into the property and excellent communication with Anita. Will happily stay here again. Nothing.
- Fiona (7/5): Good - no hairdryer
hot water not always available
- Katie (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (10/5): Pretty good experience - Very clean and spacious Hard to get into but easy once a call was made
- Jake (9/5): couldn’t ask for much more - great location, super central with a tram stop and IGA across the road.
modern & clean apartment. was perfect for the 3 of us. secure.
amazing value for money.
customer service was great when I asked for some help checking in. was a bit confusing checking in- perhaps the check in info could be sent via booking.com messages to avoid confusion as my phone number on the app was incorrect so I didn’t receive the check in info.
beds were firm but comfortable if you like firm beds. but a few extra better pillows would have been nice.
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - location beds were very hard and uncomfortable
hot water took a very long time to heat, wasted water
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mirica (6/5): Pleasant - Location Didn't have parking on the premises had to park and pay for parking outside where lucky to find a space.Parking should not be advertised for the premises, is misleading.
The bed was uncomfortable and alot of noise in the apartment of an industrial buzzing sound.
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (4/5): Disappointing - location had trouble getting the information to enter the property once we arrived, water was cold so we couldn’t have a hot shower, mattress on bed was very hard
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thehaselers (7/5): comfortable stay - The location is not far from the centre, especially with tram stopping nearby,
There are some restaurants in the nearby vicinity and a small IGA is across the road.
It is a small 2 bedroom unit newly decorated, comfy and spacious enough for 3 people
nice large balcony, but with no view ;) bed is really hard, it could do with a topper,
bits and pieces lacking in the kitchen
- Justin (7/5): No frills but affordable and clean stay in a fantastic location - Great location, nice facilities in the building (gym, common area with amazing views of Melb CBD).
Spacious apartment for a couple.
This was the most affordable stay we found in Melbourne so excellent bang for your buck. It was missing some essentials (hair dryer, iron but no ironing board).
Not much decor or design in apartment. The view looked out to other buildings.
- R-jay (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (7/5): met my needs being close to the hospital, was able to buy tea coffee and milk close buy so not a problem. Pleasent stay - close location to Royal Melbourne Hospital, IGA over the road and 711 close by, directions and key pick up to the property. Anita was very helpfully. No live TV, no tea coffee sugar or milk, no tea towel. there were goods in the fridge from previous stay.
