And a pprivate place to leave the car ( there were also lots of car parking places nearby) And there was a beautiful outside area, where you could sit and eat It was a slight walk into Amboise, not as central as I thought.

• Wayne (8/5): Very good - Parking and location just outside busy city center and easy walk to town. Breakfast superb. Restaurant had outside dining in nice garden. Narrow stairs so be prepared for a climb or get a garden room. Food in the restaurant was excellent but check the menu beforehand to make sure there is something you can eat.

• Shelley (10/5): When traveling to France again we would go out of our way to stay here again. - The room was fabulous, bed was great. They have secure parking. They have a beautiful and interesting garden area which would have been nice to experience if we had more days. Be sure to book a dinner in their dining room. After 2 weeks of traveling in France and having wonderful food experiences the meal at La Breche topped all before.

Breakfast buffet was excellent and table service for coffee efficient and friendly. Room was spacious and well equipped with water, coffee and tea available. Isobela was welcoming and helpful. She enhanced our visit with her friendly conversation. We did not use the outdoor garden area but it is large and lovely. The only negative for us was that the Pillows were very firm.

The restaurant and staff were amazing, I’d read the reviews before I booked which told me it was a good hotel but we were knocked out by the whole fantastic experience . The food at the restaurant is excellent. Walking distance to center of town and also the train station. The bathroom only had a shower and not a bathtub.
• Edward (10/5): It’s all about the restaurant! - Fantastic restaurant with outstanding food, staff, and lovely dining room. Quiet location but short walk to the town center. Secure parking. Very nice staff. The WiFi was poor. A couple apps, e.g., Apple News, refused to load stating you are not connected to the server. It’s an older building, built in 1888. So the steps are narrow, winding, and steep.
