• Lauri (1/5): DO NOT TRUST - DEPOSIT NOT RETURNED WITH NO COMMS - Close to centre. Has what you need in apartment Rude daughter met us with key late but not until deposit transferred. Loud construction next door at 7am every morning not mentioned in ad or pre warned. Asked to leave keys on table on checkout, and despite communications and the fact i cleaned that apartment before checkout stripped beds and removed rubbish their communications back ceased, no deposit returned 48 hours later and still being ignored and waiting. Am reporting for fraud. Do not trust!!!!!

• AMIN ZK (7/5): No está mal, aceptable. - Para comenzar el apartamento es bastante amplio y estaba limpio cosa que se agradece, además que todo excepto los baños están bien iluminados con luz natural, respecto a la cocina estaba bien en general. La ubicación esta muy bien y para visitar Gibraltar y pasar un finde semana esta bien. El salón esta bien pero es verdad que el sofá es muy incómodo, cosa que no favorece para ver la televisión. Las habitaciones bien pero las camas sobretodo la de matrimonio es incómoda, un poco dura y pequeña para dos. Respecto a los baños están bien, pero es cierto que hay un límite de agua caliente que el primer día tuvimos que aprender a las malas (nos duchamos con agua fría), se hubiera agradecido que se nos comunicara o almenos que se nos prestara atención al cliente a tiempo con lo ocurrido pero bueno. Como detalle o recomendación para concretar le faltarían cojines, lámparas de noche en las habitaciones, tema de sal, azúcar, aceite o papel de aluminio tampoco hay (por si no sueles llevar), no hay tabla de planchar (aunque si trae plancha pero pierde agua al utilizarla). • Stuart (1/5): Avoid - Nothing This apartment states that there will be someone to "check me in" I told the host I would be there at 4pm. At 4pm I was left in the rain waiting until the hosts wife showed up in a car at half 4. She demanded my document ( I had already gave all this information to her husband via WhatsApp) she then demanded the deposit in which I had already stated to her husband that I was going to pay in cash (euros) she then sat in the car until I went into my bag to get the deposit money all while it was still raining heavily. She then gave me the key and drove off. What a wonderful service , I really felt welcome, I had no idea what apartment I was going into... The apartment is old and at least it was clean, the living room stank of cigarettes and the Windows were opened (probably to air out the cigarette smell), there is lots of plug in air fresheners around the apartment to cover up the old/damp smell too. It was clean though I will give them that. I messaged to say I would be checking out at 12 on the last day and for the host to come and check me out and return my cash deposit. In which they refused and told me they were going to return it via bank transfer. This is money laundering and not permitted by booking or Spanish law. I told the host this and I called booking.com who sided with me. I then had to leave at 12 on the last day but no sign of the host with my cash. I had to pay commission for the euros cash, so already I have lost money. To sum my experience up , I was here on holiday to visit my friend and all I got was terrible hospitality from these supposed "hosts" and illegal questionable business practices. I was here to relax and not get stressed out and soaked, so to anyone who is thinking about booking this place , don't do it , it stinks and so does the attitude of the hosts... Update they stole €10 deposit and only gave me €90 back i have reported them to the police and Andalusian tourist board. Avoid
• Alberto (1/5): Retención de fianza injustificada y falta de factura legal - Mi experiencia ha sido muy decepcionante debido a la gestión de la fianza. Se me exigieron 100€ en efectivo fuera de la plataforma, los cuales el propietario se ha negado a devolver. Alega daños en una cama que ya presentaba un estado deficiente (fatiga de materiales) y no por mal uso por mi parte. ​Lo más grave es que, tras exigir la factura legal obligatoria por el importe retenido, el propietario se niega a facilitarla, enviando únicamente un ticket de compra de un comercio (Conforama) que no constituye un documento fiscal válido a mi nombre. Esta falta de transparencia y la irregularidad administrativa de cobrar fuera de Booking sin emitir factura me han obligado a iniciar reclamaciones ante Consumo y la Agencia Tributaria. ​Advertencia: Tened mucho cuidado con los pagos en efectivo en este alojamiento y documentad absolutamente todo al llegar para evitar abusos con la fianza. Adjunto foto del ticket de Conforama que el propietario me envió para justificar el cobro, demostrando que prefiere comprar muebles nuevos con el dinero de los clientes en lugar de mantener las instalaciones. Incluso conservo capturas donde el propietario admite el cobro pero afirma 'no saber si está obligado' a darme la factura legal, enviando solo un ticket de tienda en su lugar

• Sally (7/5): - Spacious apartment. Great location for people wanting to visit Gibraltar, as it is only about a 15 minute walk to the border. Communication with the owner was good (via Whatsapp) and they seemed nice. We had to pay the €100 deposit in cash, but you don't get cash back, you get the deposit back by bank transfer. So, while we got the deposit back ok, we ended up loosing money because of bank transfer fees. The cleaning could be improved.

• Lourdes (10/5): Finde express! Muy cómodo - Piso amplio muy luminoso y muy cómodo. Dos baños, genial!!! Muy cómodas la almohada de la cama de 90. Bravísimo. Toallas para todas las que fuimos. Avisar que es un segundo sin ascensor. Para los que vayan cargados.... Tenerlo en cuenta... O por si viajan con carrito. Lo veo de vital información. Las camas de 90 bien. El crujir de la madera cuando te subes en la de arriba. Y la cama de matrimonio un pelín incómoda.
• Meryem (4/5): - La ubicación era correcta y el suelo del apartamento y los baños estaban limpios. Por desgracia, mi experiencia no fue como esperaba. Sin embargo, el apartamento no corresponde a las fotos: la habitación no tenía almohadas ni mantas, y al viajar con dos niños pequeños tuve que comprarlas yo misma. El sofá estaba muy sucio y siempre tenía que cubrirlo con toallas para poder sentarnos. La cocina estaba muy incompleta, faltaban muchos utensilios de cocina. El aparcamiento es un gran problema: no hay sitio cerca y tenía que dejar el coche a unos 800 metros y volver andando con mis hijos. Además, justo al lado hay obras, y los trabajadores empiezan a las 8 de la mañana, lo cual hizo imposible descansar estando de vacaciones. Otro punto negativo es que, en el último momento, me pidieron una fianza de 100 €, algo que no estaba indicado en la reserva de Booking. Me vi obligada a pagarla porque viajaba con mis hijos y mi madre. Además, la entrega de llaves por parte de la hija fue desagradable, ya que lo primero que hizo fue pedirme la fianza incluso antes de entrar a ver el apartamento.

Brak drzwiczek w szafkach kuchennych piekarnik wystaje poza szafki i blat, zardzewiała lodówka. Dopiero przez Whatsapp musiałem przesłać zdjęcia dokumentów i kazano mi przelać kaucję 100 euro na konto bez oględzin mieszkania .wyglądało na próbę oszustwa.za ścianą budowa i hałas .o express do kawy musiałem się upomnieć. Na szczęście wszystko zakończyło się pomyślnie.

• 🇺🇦dubko (1/5): Bad - Nothing The owner declared the bail(100€) in the specific conditions, which is really rare in a booking and never had it before. There is no self check-in and no key box , that's why it was needed to wait for some person with the key, considering that sometimes you're arriving late night or evening, which is not convenient. In the facilities the owner says he has a fan, which is lies, no fan. The apartment is really hot... WiFi wasn't working for half an hour and it was very difficult to connect to it. Password is written only on the bottom of the router... The single bed in one of the rooms is very loud and high.... The mattresses are shorter and are not fit for the beds... Water in shower leaks... One of the bathrooms stinks badly.... The air refresher in the bathroom stank strong and horrible that's why we put it outside for the night using the disposable glove instead of a plastic bag that we couldn't find... The owner discounted 3€ from bail saying we poured out the air freshener which is a complete lie... I have a quiet big travel experience and I never met such a cheap owner like this one. The issue is not the money but nervous we've spent... I definitely don't recommend this apartment...
• Nataliya (7/5): Good - Location and cleanliness Poor lighting in the kitchen, uncomfortable bed, had to use guest underneath. Only a long bolster pillow is available. Leaking shower. No bed light.
• Sarah (9/5): Excellent location and facilities - Very central location approx 10mins the bus station where the bus to and from Malaga airport drops off. Easily walkable across the border to visit Gibraltar. Just be aware that there is a one hundred euro key deposit that must be paid on arrival but it is returned after check out.

• Laura (2/5): No lift, no internet, avoid ! - Good location close to the supermarket, the border with gibraltar and the pharmacy No lift, apartment is on the second floor. Unfortunately I didnt see when booking about the stairs. The apartment is so so humid. It has been repainted but the mould issue was not solved. At night you wake up coughing and dry throat because its so mouldy. Had to sleep with the window open in december to avoid the smell. The flat is bare. No bedside lamp, pillow couch, handsoap or anything that would make it feel homy. The furnitures are old, the bed cracks so much in the small bedroom that you cant even move. In the main bedroom, the mattress is not the size of the bed, make slats visible, as well as balls of dust stuck under the bed. The bidet is not fixed to the floor and got a fright when sitting on it. The shower curtain is too small for the shower, turning the bathroom into a pool after each shower. The owner was so rude. She doesnt speak english and makes no effort to try to speak slowly in spanish for me to understand. A month before my stay, I messaged her to ask if internet was working as I work from home. She confirmed that yes. I arrived, no internet . Everyday she was pretending that the technician was coming. A lie. I had to contact booking support which contacted her and after a week, she installed the internet. She was so angry about it that upon check out, she turned up late, even though I told her I had a bus to take. Didnt apologise or said hello. Try not to give me the deposit back saying it smelt cigarette when i dont even smoke. Then complained that there was rubbish in the bin, but we are not allowed to take the trash out during day time or we get fined. She also tried to charge me for the usage of the baby high chair , pretending on the list of amenities its not mentioned that usage was free.... In the kitchen only one plug is available for water heater, microwave, kettle and toaster. If after breakfast you forget to plug back the water heater , you will have cold shower at night ! I have no words for this place and attitude.
