Location was really good and easy to find as well. The amenities provided were awesome. Our kids really enjoyed the pool, games and the karaoke machine. Too many switches and not labelled but we figured the switches out eventually.
• Faridzuan (10/5): Lovely HomeStay - - Host is very friendly and very responsive. - The house is huge and spacious, most probably can fit total of 11 adults and few kids and everyone will have a comfortable bed to sleep. - The kids love the portable swimming pool. It is clean and just nice for the kids to play. - Water dispenser, fridge, tv, karaoke system, microwave, aircon, heater are all working fine. - There is an indoor small space play area for kids about 1-2 yrs old. They will love it. - The place, bed and toilet are clean. Just dont expect like a 5 star hotel but for the price, it is very clean and my family are quite happy with the place. - Wifi is relatively fast - Smooth checkin and checkout process. - The toilet looks abit outdated but its clean
• Guest (9/5): - Overall, the house met the expectations including friendly host, despite not having visited it prior to check-in. All furniture and household accessories were in good working order. Recommended for guests who intend to hold events with a large number of attendees. I shared a few suggestions for minor improvements with the owner. They’re nothing major and can be easily addressed.
• TAN (10/5): very well managed - The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The entire house—both inside and out—was spotless. You can really see the effort put into every detail, from providing hand towels in all the rooms and kitchen, to thoughtful extras like snacks. We were pleasantly surprised to find Netflix available, and the massage chair was definitely a highlight! The amplifier for playing our Spotify music was a great touch as well. Everything was very well-maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. water dispenser seems not working.

• Angela (9/5): Everything we need for a short stay with a big family from 1 to 70. - Location was ok. Quiet environment in the neighbourhood. There was make shift swimming pool with pump system which I felt was good. There are two BBQ pits and good ventilation around the area. Basically everything we are looking for. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, cutleries. Dry and wet kitchen to prepare all we need. There were a number of games and activities to keep us and the kids entertained! Space is clean. - The showering system was a bit difficult to figure out as every room had different combinations of switching on/off the water. - Some kitchen stuff not working well - scissors not very sharp/broken, tong broken, dish soap not enough, kitchen sponge very used and thin. Maybe bigger bins too! - Probably bigger dining space for all to sit and eat would be good. But these are very small things and we were fine with it.

So many thoughtful details were provided — from games for entertainment to a relaxing massage chair, it truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-organized and fully equipped, which made cooking easy, and we appreciated the basic toiletries provided too. Everything was meticulous and in perfect working condition. You can tell a lot of care went into setting up this space. Highly recommended!"

• Nana (9/5): A True Home Away From Home at D'joystay! - My recent stay at D'joystay in Taman Bukit Indah was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by how incredibly clean and inviting the house was. It truly felt like coming home after a long day. The comfortable atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. It's clear they take great pride in their homestay and go the extra mile to ensure their guests feel welcome. The accommodation itself was not only spotlessly clean but also incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. Everything I needed for a relaxing stay was readily available. The atmosphere throughout the house was wonderfully welcoming and relaxing, creating a peaceful haven. The location in Taman Bukit Indah is also fantastic. It offers easy access to various locations in Johor Bahru (JB), making it convenient for exploring the city. Furthermore, finding delicious food was a breeze with many options nearby. Perhaps the most significant testament to the quality of D'joystay is that my mom approved of it! For anyone who knows my mom, you'll understand that her approval for a homestay is not easily earned. This speaks volumes about the comfort, cleanliness, and overall positive experience D'joystay offers. I would wholeheartedly recommend D'joystay to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, welcoming, and conveniently located homestay in Johor Bahru. There was plenty of space for our team games, and the host even provided extra mats and chairs for us to use. Karaoke cannot sing later than after 8pm. I think till 10pm should be acceptable.

Everything is complete.. my Daughter had suddenn fever aft come back from Legoland… the Owner provide cool fever for kids too…we had a comfortable stay in this House.. very clean… we wish to stay here whenever we come to Johor.. • Justin (10/5): Convenient, affordable and fun! - Very convenient, alot of nice foods around Bukit Indah area or if wanna cook on your own also can go AEON and Lotus just 1-2min drive out as the property have BBQ Pit and stove. The owner also super responsive and nice! Owner has topped up the place full with snacks, and utensils for BBQ and cooking. Have swimming pool to just chill in the hot weather while BBQing. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway or a week for team bonding or family trips. Nil
