• Viktorie (9/5): Nádherné a plně vybavené ubytování v centru Říma - Byli jsme nadšení z polohy, která je v centru Říma, ale zároveň v klidné části, takže vás nic neruší. Z ubytování vyjdete přímo do typické římské uličky a ke všem památkám dojdete přibližně do 30 minut. Ubytování bylo čisté, moc hezky zařízené, s vybavenou koupelnou (pračka, fén, ručníky, mýdla) i kuchyní (mikrovlnka, kávovar, hrnce…). Pokud vám něco scházelo, majitelé s vámi ochotně komunikují 24/7 a vše zařídí:) První noc nám byla zima, ale další noci jsme zapli klimatizaci na 30 stupňů, takže to bylo lepší. Dům má kamenné zdi, takže je tam chladno, což může být v létě vítané. Schody do ubytování mohou být pro někoho náročné.

• emjaycr (10/5): Great place to stay near everything - Comfortable bed and option to use the washing machine which was very convenient. The place had kitchen and things to make coffee which it's very useful to have. The stairs could be a little dangerous but they are manageable. We have to climb to the third floor with an elder but he's in good conditions so he managed it.

• rony (6/5): - המיקום מעולה והחדר מרווח העלייה לחדר, עם 45 מדרגות תלולות מאוד ולא מתאימות לכל אחד. האינטרנט לא עבד במשך חמישה ימים ששהינו במקום. ולא קבלנו פתרון מהבעלים. הניקוז במקלחון לא היה תקין והמים הצטברו. סדין המיטה בבואנו לא היה נקי; היו עליו שערות וכשבקשנו סדין נקי נעננו שזה לא מלון ולא מחליפים סדינים.

• JOAQUIN (9/5): Viaje satisfactorio - Ubicación excelente para todo Las temidas escaleras no fueran más problema que las colas y esperas en algunos monumentos (tengo 64 años y problemas en una rodilla) No comento sobre algunos servicios (cocina, Aire acondicionado) porque no tuvimos necesidad de ellos La verdad, utilizamos el hospedaje sólo para dormir y asearnos por lo que no se me ocurre nada. Lógicamente si las escaleras se mejoraran sería perfecto
• Michelle (6/5): Great location, apartment was not cleaned between customers - Location was perfect! Reason we selected this place was because of the prime location. The room was not cleaned from the previous customers when we arrived at 430pm. The check in instructions were sent so the host expected us. It was gross and disappointing to walk into the room when there were dirty towels and sheets in the room. The host did not answer or respond for 30 minutes, so had to call booking.com so they could get ahold of them. The room was cleaned an hour after so not much of a delay, but disrupted plans we had because of the uncleaned room. It appeared the towels and sheets were replaced, but nothing else was cleaned (counters, bathroom, kitchen, etc)

Cheveux dans un lit , poussières, sol sale, mobiliser très usager L’escalier est très raide ( mais nous l’avions vu dans les commentaires précédents)

• Joanna (9/5): I would stay there again! - The location is perfect, everything (including Vatican, Colosseum) is within a walking distance. The apartment is charming, with high wooden ceilings and a brick wall. It is quite noisy during the night (especially during weekends).
• Julia (9/5): Superb - The kitchen and bath equipment were excellent. Everything you could need during a shorter or even a longer stay are available. It is located in the center of rome and the monuments are in walking distance. The mattress is very soft, maybe a little too soft.
• Carlos (9/5): Superb - The location. It was Great. I didn’t quite like how steep and uncomfortable the stairs to get to the apartment were but we knew that before getting there.
• Christopher (8/5): Great Location and Charm - The apartment is perfectly located between the Colosseum and the Vatican. Also near the bus stop for the airport shuttle. And near a taxi rank. The apartment has old world charm with a lookout over the street. The high wooden ceilings add to the sense of space. The hosts were great at answering questions and helping out with an early drop off for our bags. Very much appreciated after 24 hours of travel. Overall nothing to complain about. The apartment is on the third floor. Not an issue for us, but some people may find the old stone stairs a bit steep.

For family please mind that it is on the second floor with a lot of stairs so it mind be challenging for some kids ;)

• Christina (4/5): Lodger BEWARE! Host is untrustworthy and made a ludicrous claim about us damaging their apt. - The location is very good. The apartment was clean. 1. The most important information you need to have is that after we left we were sent a message which accused us of cutting off all the electricity to the apartment! We hadn't touched any wires!! Here is the message I received: "Navona Fox House has informed us that during your stay, you have cut all the electrical wires, resulting in a loss of electricity at the accommodation. They have reported damages to the accommodation and for that reason require payment of 50 EUR for the electricity system. We kindly ask you to make this payment as soon as possible." PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED PHOTO THAT THE HOST SENT SHOWING AN ANCIENT CORD TO SOME SORT OF DESK LAMP!!! 2. THE STAIRS are extremely dangerous. They should come with a warning as they are very short, steep and angled, especially on the last level. Absolutely not suitable with families with children, or older guests, and we had a very hard time with our luggage. 3. The windows with screens are useless as the screens allow mosquitoes in so you'll be eaten alive or will have to be too hot through the night. Not a good night's sleep either night. 4. Don't be misled by the description, too. It's more of a suite than an apartment. Kitchen is TINY. 5. Workers outside had to help us retrieve our key as no instructions were provided on how to USE the lock box. 6. The lights above the medicine cabinet had some strange wiring into the wall and we never turned them on because we couldn't even find a switch! The bottom line is, in addition to these secondary issues, don't give your money to someone who may make ludicrous accusations about you. Never again.
• Natasha (9/5): Superb - Location was great, place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if visiting Rome. It's located down a lane but there's no light at all at the door so is very dark at night going in. Also the steps up to the room are very uneven and steep so you need to be very careful.

• Steve (4/5): While we appreciated the location, we were ultimately dissatisfied. - The hotel's central location provided easy access to the nearby attractions, there are some nice restaurants in the area and it is right next to Piazza Navona. Additionally, the self-service check-in and check-out process was smooth, with the keys accessible in a lockbox. This may be good for most people, however if you expect that someone will be there to greet you, this is not the case as it is an apartment..more like an airbnb then a hotel which it is not. The apartment fell short on amenities. Don't expect anything fancy in terms of toiletries. What we were provided was a regular, previously opened, bar of soap and a small refilled dispensor of shampoo. Notably, and what we found silly (read stingy) there was only one roll of toilet paper available. Surprisingly, at day 3 of our 4 day stay, when I requested an additional roll, the owner cited an undisclosed policy where I have to buy additional rolls at the store because only one is included with the room. This lack of transparency on Booking.com's website could catch guests off guard. Be prepared to bring your own amenities, resulting in unexpected expenses and inconvenience. Hopefully the listing will be updated to mention that only one roll of toilet paper will be provided in the room for the entire stay, so get ready to bring your own TP ! As others already mentioned, access to the apartment was hindered by very steep stone stairs and this is very challenging for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage or even for those of a certain age. I am a fit male and I found these stairs to be slightly scary, not somewhere you want to fall as it can be very dangerous. Important to note, the apartment is located on the third floor, so lot's of steps as well. So beware. Communication Issues: When problems arose, the property owner's slow (and sometimes not very polite) response and failure to offer proactive solutions prolonged the resolution process. This ultimately led to a lack of WiFi for the entire duration of our stay, significantly detracting from our overall experience.

• Dagnis (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional location and very cousy, stylish apartment. It's located perfectly in the middle of all major sightseeing spots of Rome so practically everything is in a walkable distance
• David (8/5): Excellent central location, safe and quirky apartment. - The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring lots of different parts of Rome. It is very central and we walked everywhere from this apartment, north to Vatican (20mins) and south the Colosseum (30mins). The area around the apartment is busy with lots of shops and places to eat right on the doorstep. We liked being able to pop back to the apartment for a short rest and drink during the day or when tired out from sightseeing! We liked being on the 2nd floor despite the stairs to the apartment because it raised us above the intensity and noise at street level. It also felt very safe. The apartment needs a more thorough deep clean. Generally everything is ok day to day but it would benefit from an end of season deep clean. Some basic repairs and maintenance seemed to be lacking as well with some specific issues needing to be fed back to the owner during our stay. The kitchen equipment and dining equipment could do with a sort out to make basic self catering easier. We asked for a kettle during our stay and it was provided but other cupboards are a mix of useful things and clutter. We got good response from the owner with good tips and information about the area but this was not face to face and this made it feel less personal than some of the other place we have stayed.
• Yevgeniya (9/5): Complementary chocolate was a vary nice gesture. - The location is the best, its charming style, small kitchen has everything u may need, two air conditioners to keep u warm, a lot of towels, good water pressure in the shower, very comfortable bed! The stairs were not safe, but it is normal for historic Italian buildings.
• Mohamed (10/5): Comfortable, decent, clean, Handy & easy. - First of all the host. We didnt meet actually idk the person, but she/he is a wonderful decent human. Very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The place was perfect. Only issue was stairs 😂. The place is clean, cozy, nice, practicalctical and have a good smell. Location cannot be moree perfect. Pantheon, vatican & trevi are all few minutes or seconds away. I recommend!!!!! No balcony to witness the beauty around & stairs. But those are nothing compared to the place and the host, both are beautiful souls.
• Edoardo (7/5): Nice and conmfortable once inside the flat, challenging arrival and departure due to hard to climb stairs and distance f - The apartment is small but lovely, well organised, stylish and right behind pzza Navona, by the famous Via dei Coronari That it is not for travellers with heavy luggage. First taxi will not drop you right in front of it, and walking 150 mt with 3 trolleys for total 50kg on cubblestones it is not fun. Moreover, the flat is on the 2nd floor of an hold building with unforgiven stairs in stone. Short and high steps, in not so good condition, make reaching the lovely flat an unpleasant challenge. If you travel light though and you’re fit then all is ok. Expensive too, but i guess due to the high peak of tourists in these days because of the golfing competition (riders’ cup.

• Anand (9/5): Centrally located & quiet with helpful hosts. - Location was very central. All major sights are within 15min walking distance or 10EUR taxi rides. Taxi stand and Bus stops are 2min walk away. There are mini-supermarkets for essentials like water bottle at nominal proces. Great recommendations on the restaurants by the host. Though in a 300yr old building, the apartment itself was very charming, modern, quiet and well set up. Apartment is on the second floor (3rd for Americans), i.e. 2 flights of stairs that are steep and old. Host was helpful to carry one of our large suitcases up.
• Ruby (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location! We could easily walk to the major sites. If it's your 1st time in Rome, the city looks huge on a map, but we could easily walk to the Colosseum. Just a few steps from the Piazza Nevona was a treat. We stayed for 5 days, so the washing machine helped a lot. It is located on a cute little quiet side street & was built in 1828. Our host gave us great recommendations for restaurants that were fantastic. Since we were there for 5 days, we saved some $ by going to the grocery store & making breakfast. Try finding the larger market by going left towards the court house & then right before crossing the bridge. It's a lot cheaper than the small expressmarts. There is a taxi stand very close to the apartment also that is very helpful. The shower worked well & the little kitchen has small stove top, toaster, coffee maker (pods) microwave. It was a wonderful home away from home. Not a huge issue, but there are 3 flights of stairs leading up to the apartment. The last 11 steps are a little steep & after a long day of walking, you will just have to take a deep breath & power through...just think how great it is for your bottom. :)
