Guest Reviews
- Jared (9/5): Very beautiful place. I would definitely go back. - Great private location with amazing views. Only 10 minutes to Beechworth township. Very comfy bed and great layout. Spa is roomy for 2. Be sure to have enough small firewood (90mm diameter max) for the woodfired spa’s. Bring a long snout BBQ lighter, and possibly an axe to split wood.
- Heidi (8/5): Relaxing - Great hot tub lovely hosts Everything was great
- Wanchen (9/5): -
- Oc (7/5): Being on the winery and farm was great, very quiet and relaxing - The location was great, the bed was comfortable The kitchen facilities such as plates, utensils etc were poor, we. Would have liked to use the external bath but lighting the fire would be a hassle, having a bbq would have been nice,
- Kerrie (8/5): Very good - Love the views and accommodation . That the water tanks weren’t full. We went to have shower and there was no water and had to have someone come out twice before they could fix it
- Roach (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (8/5): Beautiful place to disconnect - Everything is beautiful, you have beautiful views from all the windows
The Kitchen was complete and clean
Bathroom too comfortable and clean
Bed very comfortable and clean
Hot bath amazing and relaxing.
Almost everything was perfect.
Another good point is that you don’t have any contact with anybody, even when you do the check in or check out. You cannot see your neighbours , That was very good , I liked it . Hot bath : was very difficult to keep the fire on so we couldn’t really hear the water . But was a hot day so we used it anyways. Next time I’ll book the one that is electronic.
The egg chair at the back of the house was full of spiders , not clean at all so I couldn’t use it to watch the sunset , was a pity because at the begging I sat there until I saw all the spiders.
- Teresa (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (10/5): Just perfect - Everything Not enough sugar haha but honestly there was nothing not to like. Amazing!

- Jo-anna (9/5): Beautiful location, stars , animals, vineyard and accommodation. - Great privacy for two , Rented two as travelling with older kids . Hot tubs were lovely looking at great scenery. The Room houses were very nice Unfortunately in winter the Winery and restaurant were closed the two nights we were there. But understand as it was winter and this is common. We would recommend this place!
- Rebecca (10/5): A fabulous couples escape. - Glenbosch is an absolute oasis - a little slice of paradise less than 10 minutes from Beechworth. The facilities are amazing and a beautiful retreat for a couples escape. Facilities and communication was amazing.
- Andre (7/5): Needs another visit to truly experience this great venue - Beautiful location, restful and tranquil information to use the hot tube would be great, even though the weather was not that great.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Grant (10/5): Beautiful spot gorgeous dinning experience at restaurant ❤️ - Beautiful country stay the location was beautiful and room was gorgeous well decorated and the furniture gorgeous a lot of work has gone into the planning of the building even down to the coffee machine and beautiful outdoor deck. Nothing it was excellent
- Brown (10/5): Exceptional - Accommodation was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was spot on
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Such a cosy, well-appointed place to stay. Loved every moment of our stay.
- Rachel (10/5): The ultimate place to switch off! - The relaxing and comfy retreat was such a great way to switch off and truly connect. The hot tub was an awesome bonus!
- Lyndal (10/5): An amazingly relaxing stay with awesome views and perfect winery/gin tasting & restaurant hosts. - An amazingly relaxing stay with awesome views and perfect hosts at the winery/gin tasting and restaurant at your doorstep. I've already recommended it to friends! The only things missing were dishwashing tablets and a teatowel, otherwise FABULOUS!
- Malham (10/5): PERFECT! STUNNING! I WISH I COULD LIVE HERE!! - Our stay was amazing! The views, the bed, the facilities, the chocolates, the staff checking in. Couldn't be happier No complaints at all!! Staff are amazing!
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Trudi (8/5): Glenbosch short stay - The cottage was clean and comfortable especially the bed.
We attended an event at the winery during our stay and the food was delicious and there was plenty of it.
The staff were friendly and quick to serve guests.
Lauren communicated all the information to us about our stay via email and text messages and she checked in with a message during our stay to see if we needed anything. I feel more space is needed for hanging and storing clothes. Take out the shoe storer and make better use of the space. An iron and ironing board would be handy to have in the cottage. I prefer a coffee pod machine for easy use rather than the type provided. The air conditioner worked well, however, where it is positioned it doesn't flow in the direction of the bed so a ceiling fan above the bed would provide more comfort and the air conditioner could be turned off at night.
The pizza oven takes too much effort to fire up and isn't very practical for an overnight stay. I feel a small BBQ is more convenient and user friendly. We didn't have a Hot tub with our cottage but I checked them out and they are very small in size and most likely take quite some time to heat up with a lack of privacy from other cottages located nearby. Our cottage didn't have a carport so we parked it under a tree for shade as the weather was hot. We had a good experience at the cellar door. It would be more comfortable when wine tasting to have some stools to sit on.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Lee-ann (9/5): A romantic and picturesque experience with delicious food and wine. - The atmosphere is incredible. The owners and staff are amazing and kind. The accommodation lacked nothing. Very thought out and attention to detail. The views are picturesque. We’d definitely go back again. Just maybe more drinkable water in the fridge.
- Frank (10/5): The staff made sure that our stay was wonderful. - The setting was ideal, with a picturesque view from the rear deck overlooking the hills and valley. The outdoor hot tub provided a perfect vantage point, allowing us to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate in the warm water. There was nothing not to like, everything was excellent.
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional - Great for total getaway experience N/a
- Jodi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nataly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cassy (7/5): Cottage 2 was a lovely new cabin very comfy just needing some minor additions/adds. - Cottage 2 was very new all modern fittings and appliances, spacious comfy. Staff were very helpful with our booking mix up. Back verandah was very private. Spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony watching the beautiful valley. Great proximity so everything we wanted to do in Beechworth. Mix up with the spa should be fixed in booking info now, view was ruined a bit by recent construction tracks in front of the balcony. Toilet door rolled open needs a latch, bugs can get in under front door, lots of bugs and skinks in room. Block out blinds needed on east wind and high big windows as light is so bright at 6am limited ability to sleep in. Cottages face away from the sunset and future cottages should consider this as the sunsets in this area are spectacular!
- Debbie (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect - A beautiful property, just perfect for a weekend escape. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for some peace and quiet while still having plenty to do right on your doorstep.
- Jay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): Superb - The location very quiet and the views, the design of the building, the shower, very spacious wetroom,, comfy bed, hanging chair on verandah, quality furnishings, big flatscreen tv, lighting was good, no fuss check in and check out, air con good information re bike tracks and surrounding area
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- T. (10/5): Private retreat, recommended - Absolute privacy in a beautiful location. The ‘cottages’ are really wonderful modular builds with cathedral ceilings and wonderful vantage points from each window. Feels like something out of Grand Designs. It’s clear the owners have chosen premium finishes for the cottages too - lovely furniture and furnishings. Note that there is all you need for the stay (condiments/olive oil/milk etc in the kitchen, dishwashing liquid, hand washing liquid, body wash etc) but no toiletries provided (shampoo etc), so remember to bring your own. A short drive into bustling Beechworth too. Recommended. N/A
- Rodney (10/5): We just loved our stay - The accommodation is set in a beautiful location overlooking farm land and beyond to hills. If you are seeking a special away from it place you will enjoy Glenbosch.Management are extremely supportive . Everything was great
- Rowan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lydia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasdeep (10/5): Perfection. Beauty. Wines r amazing - Everything was beautiful. The views. The wine is amazing. It was lovely meeting Dirk senior and Junior. They were accommodating and kind. I cannot fault this place. Was truly one of the best places I have ever been. I will be bacl The fact I didn’t stay longer.
- Kat (10/5): Paradise - A cosy cabin in an absolutely stunning and peaceful setting! The cabin itself is beautifully designed and furnished. I wish I had visited when the restaurant and cellar door were open! I will definitely be back to enjoy again.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): Best winery stay I have been to - The staff, the cottage, the food and the wine. there was not a single thing that I could say bad about the place. I can't wait to go back again.
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (8/5): Very good - Slow combustion Fire Wood Fired Spa took 4 Hours to heat up
- Mark (10/5): Perfect location, room and staff were amazing. Will be back to stay again. -

- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Carly (9/5): Superb -
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Beverley (7/5): We enjoyed our stay but probably not really suited to a mid-week autumn/winter break - lovely location. clean. lovely owners Had to pay for our own wood for the wood burner.
With the restaurant closed and no shops in the vicinity, a few provisions would be nice (bread, milk). To be fair, this is advised when booking but other places of similar pricing provide a small hamper of essentials.
- Rasmussen (9/5): Superb -
- Kay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Absolutely amazing - Amazing new cottage on a private part of the vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
- Zoe (10/5): we will be back! - the most inviting and relaxing little cabin we’ve ever visited.
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - Easy check in, spectacular space, super clean and what peace and quiet!
- Aaron (8/5): A great getaway - super private. 10mins from Beechworth. - Beautiful design, with incredible views and a great location not far from Beechworth. Really relaxing. Rail trail also close by. The wifi was really difficult, and forced us into not working at all - probably a good thing in the end albeit not the plan. The bed was a little firmer than we would normally have.. but that’s just being picky.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about our stay. Very clean, comfortable accommodation. Hosts were super friendly and responsive.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lourene (8/5): Great short break in beautiful setting - Great food
- Jade (9/5): We absolutely loved staying at Glenbosch and we will be recommending it to everyone. The owners were so thoughtful and t - Location! The property is perfect for a private, relaxing break with easy access to local towns and businesses There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property, although a king size bed would have been better
- Garry (9/5): Superb -
