Guest Reviews
- Janis (6/5): -
- Nicholas (7/5): Nice place but too far out. Bus stops at 17.30 so if you are doing apres ski then no way of getting back without a long - Modern To far out of town with an irregular bus service
- Ismael (7/5): - Sofa bed war sehr unbequem / wenig Kaffee kapseln
- Oleksii (9/5): -
- Evgenii (3/5): No saastal card provided, unreliable host. - Beware, there's no saastal card! The location is ok - at the beginning of some walking pads in the forest, 10 minutes walking from everywhere else. The view is good. They provide NO SAASTAL CARD (but you pay the whole tourist tax ofc)! There was no cold water for more than 24 hours and they were just asking endless questions in whatsapp instead of fixing the problem and we were there with 3 kids. Communication with the host was terrible, they're rarely reachable via phone even for booking. There's no lock on the toilet, and they said just "oh sorry". The private sauna is for 1 person and heats up to 66 degrees celsius max - not really a sauna, just a warm room :)
As a cherry top, after our departure they asked us to pay CHF400 in whatsapp for "extra care" for the apartment and bed sheets washing, claiming that they're dirty (one linen was indeed with a few blood drops). Afterwards they also raised a claim with booking, this time for CHF300. Both were, of course, declined, as this is ridiculous amount for 1 bed sheet.
- Natalia (2/5): Extremely disappointing stay, not worth the price. - The apartment was recently renovated and had some potential. From the second night, they provided a small electric heater, which didn’t heat the whole apartment, but was at least something. The building smelled of mold, was run-down, and the apartment was on a basement level. The apartment was very dirty, no cleaning was offered, and it was extremely cold — the first night I had to sleep in a sweater and long pants. After I complained, they offered a refund of the tourist tax (21 CHF), which I never received.
- Emma (4/5): Disappointing. - The kitchen is well equipped. The property wasn’t very warm and the bed was uncomfortable. The entrance to the property isn’t very appealing, the corridor is very dark. The property is at the other end of the town, a bit of a walk to the shops and restaurants. The garden / balcony is very overgrown, it would have been nice to sit outside but there weren’t any chairs either.
Despite having written confirmation prior to booking that a Saastal card was included, it turns out it wasn’t. Neither the owners / property management company were very helpful.
- Malhi (5/5): Parking is 1.4km away and taxi is £25 one way which is not available after 11pm. Landlord will not answer the call after - Property was refurbished. Parking was 1.4KM away.
Guide to find the property was mis-leading . Lift door was shown as the main door .
It was very dark. Locks were not working. Apartment number was written very small .
As village is no car driving zone and no electric taxi was available after 11pm .
Also landlord recommended a hotel in their guide which was permanently closed .
Me and my family had to walk 1.4 Km with bags which was very bad experience.
Lift was very horrible . Landlord was not available to answer calls nor of any assistance .
Guide was sent to me was very long and was like a book.
Curtains were not properly fit and sunlight couldn’t be stopped.
Also you need to pay tax and taxi fare £25 for 1.4KM as it’s a non driving village . Also you have to pay a parking fee of around £25.
So total you have to pay extra around £75 on top of your room rent.
Also you need to clean the property as well . Need to remove the sheets . Need to sort out trash . Need to take the trash to somewhere.
You cant check in before 5PM but need to sign out 11Am. So all the rules suits to landlords. Look like cleaning people will be cleaning the clean property as you have to do everything.
- Cory (8/5): Very modern, spacious, clean, well equipped 2 bedroom apartment below entry/ground level. - The apartment is modernized, spacious, clean, well equipped, and has a nice view of mountains. Also the property management company provides good instructions about the facility. My primary concern is that, when I first entered the apartment, it had a very musty smell. I was able to air out the apartment by opening windows, however if the windows are left closed for any significant amount of time, the musty smell gradually returns - which can be a problem it is cold outside. A secondary concern is that the apartment is on the other side of town from many points of interest (however walking through town is good exercise and scenic, so this was not a big concern).
- Lennart (9/5): Easy to access, well equipped modern apartment - Great well equipped newly renovated apartment. Quiet area. Location is good thanks to bus 4 that stops just outside the door. The sauna is definitely a big plus! Bring warm wollen socks to use on the cold floors. A few more bathroom towel hangers would’ve been appreciated (only one).
- Simon (8/5): Nice quiet flat, - Comfy flat. Great shower. Great views. Very quiet. The laundry room is next door but we heard nothing. Free buses from across the street. The flip side of it being so quiet at night is that it is a 20minute walk to the centre of the village, which could be a problem for some. Care needs to be taken to keep down humidity when showering or cooking. The owner has left a dehumidifier which works wonders, especially if windows are cracked open too.
- Seb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriel (9/5): Amazing place - The property was very clean, with a lot of natural light and an amazing view of the mountains.
