Je n’y suis resté qu’une nuit car j’avais mon avion tôt le lendemain matin, mais aucun regret : excellent rapport qualité-prix. L’endroit est propre, convivial, avec des personnes respectueuses et intéressantes. L’ambiance donne envie d’y rester plus longtemps, on s’y sent rapidement à l’aise. • Victoria (10/5): - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Maison D‘artiste und es hatte einen gewissen „WG-Charakter“. Wir hatten das Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht und waren auch froh über diese Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Das Zimmer war ästhetisch künstlerisch eingerichtet, was uns gut gefallen hat. Besonders die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und stets erreichbar. Leider war es manchmal in der Küche nicht so sauber. In der Zeit, wo wir uns in der Küche aufgehalten haben, haben viele der Gäste ihr Geschirr nicht abgespült. Außerdem war die Ausstattung in der Küche wirklich sehr spärlich.

There is a 24 hours affordable restaurant across the road with traditional Albanian food. 20 min walk to town but pleasant and with plemty of caffes to visits on the way

• Wendy (2/5): Very poor - If you enjoy a carnival and men with a carnival personality, this is the place for you! The "artist" is an extraordinary Albanian kindergarten painter who runs a hostel by day, a speakeasy den of carnival drugs, bad liquor, and sex by night. He brags about sexual exploits with young females he will "never marry," while his hunchbacked employee will try to align the young female guests to have sex with the hostel owner. The hunchbacked employee is a kind sort, who for his master, Dennis, will break your belongings, engage sex hookups for his master, and also either break your personal property or clean it for a fee, alternatively. One suspects they are closet satanists.

• Il051 (10/5): Perfect place - It's one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Its location is great, you have everything you need within 200-300 meters. It's spotless, because Dimitri takes care of everyting on daily basis. Interior is really special and cozy and the balcony is a great place to hang out and take a rest. Kitchen is also well equipped.

Parking available underground for €5 a night that was easy to organise. Fairly comfortable room with a table and chairs too, clean bathroom. Accessible location near to places to eat out, supermarkets etc. Bed and pillows weren't particularly comfortable, just okay. Fairly quiet location on the 7th floor even with bars around but noise does echo

• Romy (10/5): Too short;) - · I loved the openess of the people there and the very friendly and welcoming staff, Dimitri and Denis. I enjoyed the huge common spaces and the balcony, and the style of the house full of art. They even inited me to draw something myself and we tried some Rakia together. The kitchen is huge and all the spaces were very clean. My friend was a little to long for his bed, afraid to put his feet on the next persons pillow. Some little things could still be added, like some hooks or deposit space and a storage space for toilet paper in the bathroom.

• Daniel (10/5): Best hostel I've been in Europe - The best hostel I've been in Europe by far. Denis and Dimitri, host and manager, are amazing people, I'm really greatful I could met them. The vibe of the place is 10/10, it's like a big appartment so you feel like home. Kitchen is nice and the common room and balcony so comfortable. The bathroom extremely clean, you can see they take their work seriously. In the middle of Tirana so location is perfect. The only thing is I had the only bed without a plug, if they can fix that then it will be a 11 out of 10. Thank you so much Dimitri and Denis, definetly I will come back.

• Jefferson (5/5): Zero hostel vibes - you are a guest in someone's private home - Friendly, gregarious host who let me store some stuff overnight (as I spent one night in Ohrid) and also offered me a cocktail on the house. Big private bathroom, privacy curtain and light for each bunk. Lockers and towels available for free. He didn't give me the code to enter and wasn't there when I arrived - fortunately another guest let me in so I could drop my heavy bags. He also didn't greet me or take my payment until later that night. This is not a hostel, but rather his private apartment in which he converted one bedroom into a room with 3 bunk beds / 6 beds. There's only one bathroom as a result. He regularly hosts friends late into the night, which can get noisy for guests sleeping. Also not close to the centre - a 25-minute walk to Skanderbeg Square. I slept well, personally, but this was not the ideal hostel for me.

Room is quite clean, there is hair dryer, curtain on the bed; 3. Roommates are very friendly and ready to help; 1. Location not very close to the center, need to walk a bit; but there are some nice bars and bistros downstairs, bus station also close; 2. Only 1 toilet for 8 ppls; 3. Roommates may hv calls late at night, could be better if there are rules to regulate.

But despite saying he'd be back soon, he didn't come back, and when I went to the toilet, he was having a nice night with his girlfriend in the room (The noise could be heard outside) He didn't even say thank you or apologize until I checked out (He woke up later than check-out time. No consideration for guests' time) From the reviews here, he is good when he is good. But when he's not, it's a lousy experience. That depends on his mood. What does beautiful mean to you?

• Federico (4/5): Interrupted sleep, kind welcome, wouldn’t repeat - The room has ac. The property is very well located with plenty of restaurants and small markets around. Within minutes in a car you’ll reach the bus terminal. The host was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The night was very interrupted by loud noises and lights turned on by the host and his company. Around 2am the door of our dorm was opened with loud noises and left wide open for no clear reason while three guests were trying to sleep. When we left very early and tried to silently pack our belongings in the “lobby”/entrance, we found someone sleeping on the couch in the living room and snoring very loudly. It was not clear if this person was a guest. This combined with the loud noises and movement of the night created an odd environment. The bathroom wasn’t very clean.

• Kritika (10/5): Amazing place and exceptional host!!!! - My stay at this place was absolutely amazing. From the moment I got there, the host (Denis) was extremely kind and welcoming. Not only did he make the hostel feel like home but he actually felt like family too. He cooked pasta for everyone one of the nights which was amazing. Also unfortunately, I got really sick during my stay here and Denis personally took me to a hospital and pharmacy and made sure that I was feeling well which I’m so so grateful for. Not only is he a good host, but also a great human, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!! I ended up extending my stay because of my sickness and Denis truly felt like my brother/best friend by the end of this stay. My trip to Albania was only memorable because of my stay here and I’m so thankful that I chose this place. The property is at a prime location with lots of food places, local farmers market, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes around. It’s clean and tidy, has a personal kitchen, cabinets to store your items and laundry machine. It’s about 25 minutes from the city center but there’s a local bus stop right next to the property!

The beds were some of the comfiest bunks I've slept in, and the views from the balcony were great! Communication from the host was great too - finding the place was easy, and he helped me find somewhere to print some documents. Overall, would highly recommend :) Nothing - everything was perfect.

• Jordan (10/5): A stunning jewel in an already beautiful city - Located in a stunningly gorgeous neighborhood, this hostel is conveniently situated near numerous important amenities such as restaurants, public transportation, grocery stores, and more. It is incredibly close to the international bus station, while also being a short walk from Skanderbeg Square; however, if needed, bicycles are available for rent at reasonable prices! Meanwhile, the hostel owner is incredibly generous, kind, helpful, respectful, and eager to share his culture with his guests while readily adapting to their needs, wishes, and desires. Staying at this hostel permits you to have an authentic experience of what Albanian hospitality truly resembles, with the owner warmly welcoming guests with open arms and treating them like family by sharing genuine Albanian food and drinks (evidently, this experience is very hard to find elsewhere). The location is impeccably clean, well-furnished, well-organized, and in great condition. Moreover, the hostel's price is very reasonable considering the exceptional services provided; I would have easily paid double. The owner does sleep in the same room as you, but remember, this is a hostel, and with how unique and friendly the owner is, it is basically like sleeping in the same room as your best friend. My favourite aspects of the hostel were the breathtaking views from the balconies (there are two!!!), the opportunities to learn about Albanian history and culture from the owner, and the incredibly comfortable beds. I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up extending it by an additional 5 days. Maintenant, pour ceux qui parlent français, je voudrais dire que Denis (le propriétaire) est un vrai mec. Il parle plutôt bien français, et ce fut une expérience rafraîchissante de pouvoir communiquer en français tout en voyageant dans les Balkans. Aimable, généreux, authentique et hilarant, séjourner dans cette auberge est une expérience unique qui créera certainement des souvenirs affectueux et mémorables. There was nothing I did not like! Although criticism is an integral aspect of my culture and my personal identity, I was unable to find anything I disliked. I simply cannot wait to return to Tirana and stay at this location again!

I told him that i dont know myself cuz i am new in the city he insisted on knowing the time. When i got there he wasnt there. Only there was a house which is hardly be told to be a decent place legal hostel or sth. It was practically a small apartment in which there were erotic pictures and pictures seem to look to be bloody. It was smelling all pork and dirty socks and although there supposed to be a place to be set for me all the beds were unmade and messy. It looked like a satan worshippers place. • Usmaan (10/5): Exceptional - When I first arrived the hostel owner was very accommodating and helping. Offered me a glass of raki which was great. We also played some games and had good laughs together. Also helped me to get from the airport to the city 🏙️. Made great breakfast and took me to some great places around the neighbourhood. Told me about the great new things that I can do and visit around in Albania. Treats people like family and is a very good artist if you like you art. Very chilled place and great to be around. Please stay here you will not regret it.

• Juampii (10/5): Exceptional - Denis & his friends are really nice people. Educated, cool and very generous. Its a great option if you like alternative and relaxed vibes. The neighborhood is very living and it's comfortable to go to the center or the airport. I recommend it
