• Claudia (10/5): Highly recommended ❣️ - We had a great stay! The host was very friendly and communication was easy. The place was very clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully furnished with nice details. Everything we needed was there, including a fully equipped kitchen and toiletries. We would definitely recommend The apartment was centrally located and had a small outdoor area. The surroundings were very pleasant, and everything was within walking distance.

• Esther (4/5): Disappointed and wished we chose somewhere else. - 1. Location of the property. 2. Washing machine and dryer 3. Good drip coffee machine and dishwasher. 1. Description and pictures given gave me an impression it was at the ground level and not a basement unit. Definitely not as convenient dragging big pieces of luggage up and down a flight of stairs to the basement. 2. Only one functional bath toilet - the other did not have bathing facilities. Not good for families. 3. The unit was not clean - pieces of dirty towels were on the floor when we arrived. 4. The kitchen sink kept clogging up and we had trouble washing our cups and plates. 5. The water in the shower was weak and not consistently warm - not a pleasant experience to shower. 6. The promised breakfast basket was not prepared for us and we had to scramble to get breakfast the next day. 7. Attempts to contact the owner was difficult and response was very slow and tardy. Poor support given to us guests. 8. We did not find the pillows and beds comfortable as they were much too soft with poor support. 9. The fridge was empty and not filled up with food as in the picture. 10. There was no shower gel in the toilet and only 2 bottles of shampoo - so we had to bath with shampoo only. 11. The WIFI was cut off the last day and we could not use the internet. 12. Retrospectively, the price was not relatively cheap compared to other better properties in our opinion. 13. It’s very tiring to walk to and from the parking garage every day and having to pay about $CAD 31 (when tax added in) per overnight stay.
• Frank (7/5): Nice apartment, great location but management needs to address the cleanup between guests. None of the problems we encou - The apartment was good and clean when we arrived. The location was excellent with grocery stores, a liquor store and restaurants a couple of streets away. The day before we travelled, we were asked by message if we wanted a complimentary breakfast and if we had any allergies. We were told there would be a cold breakfast in the fridge on arrival. I replied yes to the breakfast and also said no allergies. When we arrived there was no breakfast so I texted the owner saying this, no reply. The following morning no breakfast turned up so I texted again, again no reply and no breakfast ever turned up during our stay. In the fridge and the pantry there was food that had been left, I presume, by previous visitors. There was grated cheese nearly 2 months past its best before dates and an inch of pasta sauce in a jar. There was lots of coffee, unfortunately unusable as there was no coffee grinder.. The towels in the cupboard were damp. When we went to put them into the dryer we first had to remove sheets that had been left there.

• Bert (4/5): Very Disappointed - Location It's a basement apartment. This is not stated in any of the descriptions. The advertised facilities are not there. There is only 1 bathroom not 2. The other room houses only a toilet. There are multiple items missing from what is stated in the description: drying facilities (only the dryer) soundproofing -you can hear everything the family upstairs do. They are extremely noisy. TV - It's there, you just can't watch anything. Free toiletries- costco own brand items just scattered about. Conputer - missing. Hardwood floors- its laminate. It very much felt like we were staying in someone else's house after they had gone away for a week. Overall very disappointed considered what we thought we were going to be staying in. The photos have been taken very well!!

• Aaron (6/5): - Cute little house in a good location Misleading advertising on multiple fronts.... -not soundproofed, noise from upstairs went until past our bedtime and was disruptive -not ground level, it is indeed a basement suite you descend into -You have to book your breakfast in advance, we don't usually look up property details until the day of check in. I can appreciate the rational for advanced notice, but no excuse for denying breakfast for subsequent days. This perk was why we booked this spot and required going out for breakfast at an additional cost.

Die Küche ist klasse :) Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder wählen :) Manchen gefallen vielleicht weiche Matratzen, wir hätten sie uns aber härter gewünscht, damit man nicht so tief einsinkt. Im Bad und auf den Regalen lag viel Staub.

• Craig (10/5): Perfect place to explore Vancouver - Perfect location to explore Vancouver. Beautiful building and there was a farmers market outside one morning. You can walk to Gastown, Granville island and Stanley park easy. No fault of the hotel but there was a lot of drug users and homeless in the park opposite. That said we walked through the park at night a few times and had no issues.

• David (1/5): Bad - Location. Unit was not cleaned before arrival. Beds were slept in and unmade. Toilet was not flushed. Wet towels on floor. Full trash cans. Crumbs on kitchen table. No staff on site. Host does not answer the phone, texts, or emails. No response 2 days later. We left and found other lodging since we were unwilling to start our vacation by washing all the bedding and bathrooms. Refund still in limbo, have disputed the charge with visa. Booking.com takes no responsibility. Unit has 1.5 baths, not 2. It is a basement apartment.
• Keli (1/5): horrible - The host never sent details to access the property and did not respond to any messages or calls. We had to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute whish made us late for our scheduled plans.
• Amber (7/5): Very easy and comfortable place to stay, with great location in a quiet neighbourhood. - Location was easy walking distance to many places. Access to the house was really easy. Staying opposite a park was great. Quiet neighbourhood. Also the Halloween experience was a highlight. The beds were great and very comfortable. The kitchen could do with an inventory and a top up of things like glasses and cutlery. Would have liked information about how to use appliances and details about the neighbourhood. I find having these really helps. Advertised a hot tub and we were expecting a spa bath or something similar but that wasn't the case, just an ordinary bath under the shower.

Amenities were very satisfactory. (Friendly note to owner: restock glassware, coffee cups, just general basic kitchen ware.Baking sheet to heat up pizza, ie.) Owner was so kind to let us check in early as unit was available and we had to exit cruise ship very early with tons of luggage! Thank you again for your generosity!! Highly recommend this rental. Lovely section of Vancouver! You will enjoy this rental! Happy Customers from USA Carolinas! Nothing to dislike!
