• Farahnaz (8/5): - The apmt was comfortable and in a good location in the town center. The reception was empty so checkin was through the main hotel which is just round the corner. All amenities were available and we had no problem with anything. It would be good if a toaster is also provided in the kitchen area. The bed was on the smaller side. Cleanliness can also be enhanced. I am still waiting for the euro 500 refund to my account

• Cecilia (10/5): - Estuvimos alojados a media cuadra del hotel, en Residence Aston la Scala que son apartamentos, lo unico a destacar es que el dia que llegamos a las 4 pm habiendo avisado, no había nadie en recepción , ni en los días que estuve allí, asi que por suerte encontre alguién de limpieza que me dejo entrar y aviso a recepción, pero como no venia nadie ya que la recepción estaba vacia me dijo que fuese a hacer el check in al hotel que estaba a la vuelta de la esquina, todo.nuestro trato fue con el hotel, pero muy bien atendidos. Y el departamento hermoso y grande, con lavasecaropa, y cocina completa, perfecta ubicación.

• Tammy (9/5): No complaints. Facility looked new, clean, like it's just got remodeled. - The location is the best of all. It's 5 minutes walking to Old town, Saleya Market, and Quai des Etats-Unis. Just relax on those benches or chais along the beach to people-watch, or enjoy the food and drinks from outdoor shops, take little train around town would be nice enough. We had wonderful times staying at the Resident! The Receiption Area could use some air freshener to make up for the somewhat unpleasant air, probably from underground, to guests while checking in.

• Livio Loris (2/5): Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo - Posizione vicino Piazza Massena Arredamento cheap e nell'insieme il servizio: reception chiusa con cartello che invita ad andare, valigie alla mano, ad un altro indirizzo, le pulizie fatte con noi già arrivati sulla porta della camera, camera calda afosa con aria condizionata che non funziona, puzza nella reception e TV acceso appena fuori dalla porta della nostra stanza, finestra della camera chiusa con lucchetto impossibile da aprire, rumori dal ristorante accanto e, mai visto prima, la richiesta di 500 euro di cauzione per una notte di soggiorno! E neanche un "ci scusi per gli inconvenienti".

• Christel (2/5): A éviter ! - Le professionnalisme et la gentillesse du personnel de la réception qui a fait de son mieux pour trouver des solutions... Nous avions loué le studio, situé en RDC. La chaleur y était insupportable car la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et il était impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre. Un AirB&B nous a été proposé. Cette fois, la climatisation fonctionnait mais le logement était très sale : frigo, sol, douche, cuisine (couverts, assiettes, ...) A noter qu'à ce jour, la direction de l'établissement n'a pas encore daigné nous contacter.

• Mc Donnell Byrne (5/5): - The location was excellent, so close to all amenities. There was no air conditioning in the main room. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep, etc. We had to request twice for the basics utensils for the kitchen. Coupled with that the same for toilet rolls, etc. The floor was dirty and stained. The price of a regular beer etc was very expensive. We would pay less than half in old Nice in beautiful bars.

• Greg (10/5): Perfect pied de tierre right by vieux nice. - Perfect size and location! My husband and I needed separate places to work remotely and most hotel rooms are studios. This worked perfectly for us. Everything was brand new and the kitchen and washer were nice to have. Rooms were spotless. They were doing construction in the middle of the night making it hard to sleep.

• Jarrah (8/5): Great location, comfortable stay. - Great location, comfortable bed and couch, loved the kitchen and washing machine facilities within the room. Very clean and comfortable. A few minor issues- both the lamp and bathroom door were broken, no clothes line for the washing machine, minimal cutlery. Staff were unfortunately quite rude at the main hotel - charged me twice for the city tax with no apology and were overall cold and unhelpful.

Would recommend. - Excellent location, close to place Massena, tram line, bus for Matisse and Chagall museums, on edge of old town, convenient to all main attractions. Apartment very new and kept clean daily. Excellent air conditioning, easily regulated. Good storage. Kitchen well equipped with all basic necessities. Bathroom well lit, good shower and hairdrier. Reception was never staffed except for our last morning. No instructions supplied for kitchen appliances. Bad smell in apartment at times but presumed it was from drains outside in hot weather.View to back of apartment not pleasant.

• Andreea-Maria (5/5): Not staying here again. - I liked the location. That's kind of it... Toilet was dirty when we arrived (late in the evening)-photo. There were a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom-photo. Nobody at the reception at any hour (including during their schedule), one has to go to the reception of the hotel Aston la Scala (close, but not the same). It was cold, especially at night (stayed here in december) and the thermostat didn't seem to work. For some reason, a couple of unknown guys barged into our room during night (although there was a code at the building entrance and there was a keycard needed for he room door), then they got out and started knocking on our window (we were at ground floor). The faucet in the bathroom stops after 6 seconds, then you have to press the button again. While I understand ecological reasons, it could have stayed on for a bit longer (at least 15-20 secs) and, besides, I get this system in a public bathroom, but not really in a private one... It was frustrating.

L'emplacement en centre ville à proximité de la gare et du tramway. La conciergerie pour les bagages. Le Manque d'insonorisation entre le salon et l'appartement voisin qui a été très gênant pour la personne qui dormait dans le convertible ( réveillé tous les matins par le réveil des voisins qui sonnait à 7 h😩.

Personne pour vous accueillir il faut retourner à la réception de l hôtel pour check in et check out. Tres mauvaise insonorisation avec l'appartement d a côté. Réveillés a 6h30 par les occupants bruyants de si bonne heure.
• Robert (7/5): - Location, view, modern, character. Large space to hang out in. Nearby health food store. Walk to many sites of interest. Comfy bed. Good blackout drapes. This one bedroom apartment with kitchen will appeal to couples wanting more space. It's location is good, overlooking Promenade Des Anglais. The building is distinctive, a classic flat iron shape and ornate. We had apartment 502 on the highest floor. In spite of some positives there were some disappointing negatives that means we can only generously give it 3 out of 5 stars. The high price for this unit is not justified in our opinion. On the plus side: it is roomy, recently renovated, with a great view from the rotonde windows, good bed, clean, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen, good water pressure and drains, good cupboards and closet space, good lights, reasonably quiet with windows closed even though it's a very noisy street below especially at night (motorbikes, yelling, partying, loud music, trucks...) The wifi is good. Comes with a washing machine but no drier (which is frustrating). Fridge works well as does dishwasher. Cons: the check in is confusing and requires that you walk about 100 meters to the lobby of the Hotel Anton La Scala, which is a different building from Residence Anton La Scala. There is a feeble attempt to pretend that there is a receptionist in the Residence but in our six night (October 2025) stay we never saw the person. The lift to the fifth floor works ok but is very tiny with room for only two people... Add your bags and it's almost impossible to get two people inside. The biggest disappointment during our stay was the very unpleasant sewage odor that hit us on entering the apartment. In spite of the unit being freshly cleaned and made ready, the smell really hit us. We immediately opened all the windows to allow a cross breeze to removed the stink. It is a bit of a mystery where the bad odor is coming from. The sewers here are old and maybe back-gassing comes up through the drains?

The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom was quiet for the most part. There was no soap in the toilet room, toilet paper seemed limited, and there was no one at the desk when I checked in. I figured out that you had to go around the corner to the hotel and it all worked out.

Не было мыла, туалетная бумага была грязная, ходили покупать сами 4. Стены очень хлипкие, никакой звукоизоляции. Соседей было слышно, будто они лежат у тебя в кровати. Окна тоже пропускают весь шум гуляющей молодежи ночью. 5. Все очень маленькое и тесное. Чтобы сходить в туалет или в душ, приходилось раздеваться в коридоре или комнате. 6. Для такого качества удобств и отсутствия обслуживания, очень дорого.

• Rebecca (5/5): Great location, subpar stay. - The location is great, very central and walkable to a lot. It is easy to get into the building. The reception at the hotel side was very helpful. The washing machine inside the unit was great to have. There was plenty of closet space and two bathrooms was a bonus. Note that the hotel is around the corner, and not attached to the residences. - The unit was not very clean upon checking in: You could see footprints on the floor, the dishes in the dishwasher were still dirty, the shampoo rack on the shower had wrappers from previous tenants and random items were in the closet. - Dishwasher tabs were provided but there were no cleaning pods for the washing machine. - The remote on one of the TVs did not work. - There is never anyone at reception, you have to walk to the hotel to get anything. - There was no hand soap in either washroom. When I asked the cleaning person about hand soap, she gave me a plastic bag of hand soap which looked like a refill bag for the shampoo bottle that was shampoo for the body and hands. - The "street view" is just of the alleyway, the windows look into the apartments across the street that look like hostels. - Every day the cleaner would leave additional footprints on the floor and she left a perfume bottle one time. - The hotel reception provided us with an umbrella and water when requested, however they do not have any beach towels or beach parasols available, as the listing mentions. - The layout of the shower unit was not well designed, the water would spill on to the floors after each wash. I am not sure what I expected. I expected perhaps a hotel quality stay, since it is associated with a hotel. However the quality of this place was not 3-4 star hotel quality. It was more like a somewhat cared for Airbnb where someone changes your towels and makes your bed every day. But even then, I have stayed at Airbnbs with better attention to detail and cleanliness.

Останавливалась на несколько дней, и забыла вещь в номере, пыталась договориться с отелем, чтобы отправили службой доставки , отвечают раз в неделю, отправила свою подругу, чтоб она забрала, предварительно позвонила на ресепшн, дозвонилась тоже раза с 10 го только , попросила отдать вещь подруге, по телефону сказали:-да, конечно, не переживайте, в итоге подруга пришла в отель, и ей сказали:-мы не знаем какая вещь, у нас много кто, что забывает. Ужас!!! Пишу письма на почту, никто не отвечает, на телефон тоже! Самой вернутся в отель нет возможности сейчас, следственно могу полагать, что в отеле -ВОРЫ работают и присваивают чужие вещи!

The cleaning staff didn't do their job correctly. Often, soap and toilette paper were missing. Trash was left inside the house. We didn't know when the cleaning staff would come by it wasn't clear.

• Ferdinando (7/5): Quando se hospedar no anexo, procure informação antes de chegar - Ficamos em uma espécie de apartamento, anexo ao hotel. Muito amplo e confortável e muito bem localizado Chegamos no endereço fornecido pelo Booking e não havia recepção e nem ajuda com malas ou informações. A recepção fica no hotel a uns 200 metros do endereço fornecido. É um prédio anexo.
