• Kimmakone (10/5): Garden stay that makes you feel at home and not like a sterile resort. - We like all the fruit trees around the property, the quietness at night. It is an excellent place to stay for the island garden feel home atmosphere. Tangi was so kind, generous and welcoming. Our flight was delayed for a day and she kept our reservation for us. She came and talked to us like a friend. We would definitely stay there again! For us, it was perfect. We didn’t find any problems.

• Oliver's (7/5): - Nice and private. Had all the basics that we needed. Loved that they included snorkeling gear. Very respectful of our space and privacy. Really nice staff. There was a bit of a mix-up with the times of arrival. Thankfully, it was fixed up pretty quickly.

• Raylene (5/5): Loved the bungalow, just needs doing up. - Our bungalow was double booked so stayed at a taxi drivers house for one night. Owner was suppose to pick us up at midday the next day but when the time came to it it she asked the taxi driver to drop us off. The bungalow could do with a good clean and upgrade. TV didn't work, not many cooking utensils, no draws to put clothes in.
• Guest (8/5): Great value for price, no beach view but one just around the corner worth visiting. - It is very cute with a big exotic garden with a lot of plants. It’s very nice and spacious. The beach just around the corner is also very beautiful for some walks and spot the whales close to shore. We had a banana bunch hanging on the deck, fresh bananas for breakfast was awesome! The shower might be solar heated and it doesn’t get very hot but it is okay. Lot of chickens running around in the garden, so if you are a light sleeper I would say bring ear plugs to sleep, they start to sing very very early!!
• zoe (8/5): Relaxing stay, was peaceful and in a pretty setting. - Very peaceful, with a lovely deck and gardens. Well equipped kitchen. Would happily stay again. No information on the bungalow itself or how to get on wifi. We could not get hot water in the shower, and another fan over the bed would be nice.
• Guest (3/5): Bungalow could be lovely but lack of care was disappointing and spoiled our holiday somewhat. - The garden setting was nice and the covered deck. Also the bungalow was quite spacious. Location near Muri was fine. The host did not have the place ready for us. No information sheet, dish detergent, extra toilet rolls and rubbish bags not left. There was no lighter for the has stove and we had to buy one. Host took several days to respond. Shower luke warm, lock to sliding door extremely stiff. We ended up breaking the key off when trying to open the door. A handyman came to fix it but the place was not secure for x2 days. (Public holiday).Could have been avoided with some CRC.
• Constance (5/5): A bit too expensive for what you get - Good location ! Basic but useful facilities We arrived at 3pm for an arranged check-in. After repeatedly calling them, they Finally arrived at 6:30pm. The bungalow wasn't clean so they did the cleaning. They said it was due to previous clients checking out late but our neighbors staying in the other bungalow told us they had the same issue. They were no bins, the hot plate was using gaz but we didn't get a lighter and had to buy one and bin bags. And the cleaning is not really good. The microwave was disgusting, the place smelled funny, like a smoker lived in it for years. The place is nice but not very well managed and it's disappointing.
• Ross (8/5): Very enjoyable - The owner met us at the airport (for a fee, which is applied to most visitors to accommodation) and was kind enough to stop in Avarua for us to do an errand. The bungalow was peaceful, secure, with a private garden surrounding. Although we did not need it the owner provided snorkelling gear. Had to fix the kitchen tap which was very loose in its mountings.
• Megan (9/5): Great little bungalow, perfect start to our holiday - We were just looking for a spot where we got to absolutely chill out. It was lovely to hear the surf at night, the pictures are exactly what you get, and its nice and private.
• Sara (10/5): Cheap and cheerful - Great little place! We liked walking in to muri - it was an excellent way to get our bearings plus a nice way to start the day. 15 mins walk to muri - a bit far for some people, but the bus stops anywhere you want and is super easy to navigate. We liked the warm welcome, the privacy, and lots of towels for lots of swimming. Nothing! All good for us. Prefer locally owned little places to a big resort. No ocean view, but only 2 mins out the door.

• Schmidt (8/5): Very good - The staff was really nice and the place was cute! We even got bikes which was great for getting around. We waited a while for our check in because there was a miscommunication between the owner and the staff there. So the bungalow was not prepared yet. That might also have been the reason why it was not super clean. They had to prepare everything in a hurry. They did a great effort though to prepare everything for us as good and soon as possible once they got the information. So it was ok, but of course not what we planned.

• James (10/5): Clean, and good price, and nice location for a couple - Clean, nice location, nice surroundings, and comfortable Difficult to find. Spent a lot of time trying to find it the first night. Finally a friendly young man led us to it. Needs signage for sure! Could use another fan😊

• Jeanne (8/5): Clean budget friendly little cottage - It was budget friendly nearby to the Muri beach area. Accommodations were as expected, basic and clean. We got in very late at night and had a good night's sleep - only stayed the one night before going on to our other destination for a few nights. No complaints other than the rainy weather we woke up to!

• Julia (8/5): Very good - Very cute bungalows enjoyed my stay Miss communication on my arrival was difficult to get in touch with hosts. Had to wait for bungalow to be clean. Maybe another fan would help with the heat. Hosts were ever so apologetic for miss communication.
• Kimberley (10/5): Would 100% stay here again. The hosts went above and beyond to look after us. - Samuel the host was amazing to us and made us feel very special! We were staying very close to our friends which was super handy and only a short walk to Muri town/shops. Was great to have our own little spot for the week and made us feel at home. The hosts made us feel very special and looked after the entire trip by giving us lots of tips, fresh fruit, airport transfers etc. We felt very lucky to have found such great accommodation and we will definitely be back!! We should have got a rental car earlier in the trip as the shops were closed for a lot of the trip and we did a lot of walking.
