• Dan (8/5): Beneficial having the modest breakfast and dinner included, along with the ensuite in the 4 bed room. - Bed was comfortable and having the shower and toilet ensuite was beneficial. Unusual but appreciated having a modest breakfast and dinner available. Shower was pretty mouldy.
• Merle (7/5): In Ordnung für ein paar Nächte - Sehr leckeres Abendessen, nettes Personal, gemütliche Betten mit Vorhängen, Badezimmer mit im Zimmer, tolle Lage Nur süßes Frühstück, Betten super niedrig, so dass man nicht aufrecht drin sitzen kann, zu wenig Stauraum, vom Fischhändler nebenan gelangt ein schrecklicher Fischgeruch in die Zimmer, keine Bettdecke sondern nur eine dünne Wolldecke

She never smiles, always has a stern face, and even curses at people. She cooks the dinners are too salty and put too much MSG. This week, we were lucky to have a nice Chinese male chef who cooked two delicious dinners for us. Thank you.

Les repas change tous les soirs, ça reste simple mais c’est bon, le chef change aussi toutes les semaines, c’est vraiment top. Les parties communes sont bien entretenues et propres. Le personnel est très réactif à la réception. Le rapport qualité prix pour chambre privée avec salle de bain privée est imbattable en centre-ville. Chambre très mal isolée du bruit. On ressent toutes les vibrations. Peut-être compliqué de dormir s’il y a des personnes bruyantes à toute heure. *Nous avions la chambre 14

• Audrey (7/5): Great stay, well located with meals included - J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour dans cette auberge de jeunesse. Elle est très bien située, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner inclus dans le prix sont un vrai plus. Le dortoir réservé aux femmes était propre et agréable. Seuls petits bémols : la couette pour se couvrir était un peu trop petite et l’oreiller aurait pu être plus épais.

• Alyssa (5/5): Passable enough - far from a social experience - Beds are comfortable and have a curtain which is great. Breakfast and dinner are included though limited options still go a long way for helping save $ Considering this is referred to as 'the social hostel' there is very little about it that seems that way. Staff were not very chatty, even going as far as to not really direct guests to their rooms. There were no social activities/events provided and guests really stuck to themselves because of that. The communal spaces make it difficult to mix as the seating is limited, with the dining room also doubling as the TV room.

• Jasmin (8/5): Empfehlenswert - Wirkt sehr organisiert, konnte eher einchecken, kein Straßenlärm oder Unruhe im Hostel, es gab für jeden Handtücher und Steckdosen am Bett, für zusätzliche Privatsphäre einen Vorhang, Duschbad frei verfügbar, konnte mein Gepäck kostenlos unterstellen, gutes Sicherheitssystem durch seperate Türschlösser, Küche ist gut ausgestattet und geräumig, Frühstück und Abendessen für alle, free WiFi, Bus um die Ecke, Strand mit dem Auto innerhalb 18 min erreichbar. Meine Matratze roch etwas chemisch, Geschirrtücher waren überwiegend klamm.

I even saw a rat inside. Plus, the manager tries to rip you off by charging you more if you book directly at the property.
