• Lia (9/5): Superb - good location just a minute walk from where the boat drops you off. The beds are very comfy and the owner super nice. Wifi works every now and then but good enough :) The breakfast was very simple (bread, jam, butter, juice, tea) but nicely presented. i had a very calm stay here; its perfect if you just want to relax for a bit and enjoy a few walks and nice scenery!

• Philipp (8/5): Very good - Nice location at the Harbour and 5 min to the beach. Maybe they can upgrade the terrace as you have nice view from the top of the building.
• Hiroki (7/5): Was a nice and comfortable stay. It was perfect for a one night stay to relax on the island in between the hustle and bu - Really comfortable bed, clean room and friendly manager, also great location being a minute walk from the ferry drop off point. The shower’s tap handle gave me a small electrical shock when I touched it to turn the water off while the power was switched on to heat the water.
• Lam (6/5): Pleasant - location is close to the pier that back to Copacabana. 3 mins walk. the water pressure very weak. Enusre the staff show you how to swich on the heater for the hot waterd.
• Lindsay (5/5): I wouldn't recommend 😕 - The host was warm and welcoming, cheap price and the location by the lake front was nice. The shower was not hot, it was freezing in the bedroom and noticed the bathroom window had no glass and only partially covered with a cardboard. The bed had a lot of blankets but they were so heavy, it made it very uncomfortable to sleep and move. The breakfast was not great. The fruit and hot tea was nice but the bread served was super stale.
• Floor (7/5): Cute guesthouse with a view and good breakfast, gets cold at night - Cute guesthouse with views of the lake. Owners are really nice and the breakfast is good. It gets very cold at night and there is no heating. Also the shower is not warm. The wifi did not work when I was there.
• Chloé (8/5): Very good - The view and location were great! Breakfast was all right, there was hot water available! And many many blankets because the room was rather cold. The room was smelling like old cold tobacco and was very humid.

• Georgia (10/5): A beautiful stay - a MUST on Isla del Sol - If you’re thinking about staying on Isla del Sol, YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE! A really lovely guest house! The room I stayed in, looked over the sea and I woke up early to watch sunrise from bed and it was magical!! The beds are really comfy and have lots of blankets to keep you warm as it gets chilly, a basic shared shower, which I thought was cold, until the manager came to turn on the hot water and it was delightful! The owners are really friendly and so happy to welcome you to their place.

• Jennifer (5/5): Basic but fine for a night or two. - Beautiful view of the lake and right next to the port and few restaurants in the north. Cold shower or fear electrocution. Not very clean bathroom, hair everywhere especially in the plug hole. Very cold at night but it looks like everywhere is like that. Very basic breakfast: stale roll, jam/butter, half a banana and coffee (no milk, not even powdered).

• Silvia (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was very comfy. I loved the heavy blanket. The view is beautiful. The stuff is very friendly and will help you with any questions (Spanish). Basic breakfast with fruits, bread, jam, juice and coffee/tea. I loved the north part of the island the most where this hostel is. People are more friendly and relaxed. VERY IMPORTANT: On the north side, you can enter the island without climbing a steep hill up with your backpack, which you have to do on the south side. The hostel provides internet in the morning and evening which worked well. If you need it during the day you can go to the nearby restaurants. But everyone is hiking the beautiful island in daytime anyway. I recommend hiking the island from north to south over the mountain and back from south to north on the beach side. It's easier. You can easily get around if you start your hike between 9-10 am. So you have enough time for breaks and lunch. Enjoy We had a heavy storm one night, which caused a water issue the next morning. That can happen in places like this island. That's just how it is and very authentic. So take the adventure to dive into their everyday life if it happens again, and don't worry, you will survive that, too.

• Pier-luc (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed for four nights, could have stayed for a month! My shower was not really hot, warm at best

• Tobias (4/5): Disappointing - The owners are nice. Bad value for money. The shower is cold, the light flickered and the plug ins did not hold. We also had to pay $2 more than booking.com said, for a reason that was not explained to us. The breakfast is also not included. I had better value for half the price on mainland Bolivia. The northern part of the island is in no way more special than the south. I would recommend going to the south to be honest. Also the ticket to the island is 30 BOB, but on the way back you have to pay 40 BOB.
