Guest Reviews
- Katie (10/5): Excellent - We loved the location as near to Roma Trastevere train station which links directly to FCO Airport and other parts of the city. From the same station or surrounding roads you can catch all the buses/trams you need into town.
The apartment is spotless and very comfortable with everything you need for a short stay.
Felt very safe too due to the gated complex and security lock on door.
Lole was very kind and checked we were OK throughout our stay and made sure we had all the info we needed to reach the apartment smoothly.
Had a great trip and would use again when we hopefully return. We liked everything.
- Konopka (10/5): Wszystko Ok.
- Adriana (10/5): Exceptional - Loved my stay here! The room was super clean, cozy, and had such a lovely Italian vibe. The location is perfect. The host was amazing, very friendly and helpful with great tips about the city. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting!
- Cristina (9/5): Fantástica estancia en Casa Minerva! - We had a wonderful stay at Lole's place for the 4 days we visited the amazing city of Rome. The house is renovated and was perfectly clean and tidy. It's also very well connected for getting into the city by public transport: right next to Trastevere train station, trams that get you to the center quickly, and buses. Lole was charming; she sent us information and instructions for her home days before our arrival so we could be prepared. After our stay, the communication and her helpfulness continued to be wonderful. Thank you, Lole!
- Pippa (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - The communication with the host was flawless. The apartment had all the amenities needed. The location was also very convienient with a bus stop and train station nearby!

- Georgia (9/5): Stunning property - Beautiful property in Trastevere. Easy to access centre of Rome - 40 mins walk or so, or can use public transport.
Stunning property - felt at home there. Lots of thought behind things - spare toiletries available in cupboards. The entire property smelt amazing - small scent bags hung in wardrobe and drawers, spotlessly clean. Really beautiful property and the effort of the host to make it as such is truly reflected.
Kitchen was lovely, with added tea and coffee, pasta sauce, water, beer in fridge, sweets on side etc.
Host was brilliant on WhatsApp with instructions to access the property, and with any questions we had.
Bed was very comfortable.
Gated accommodation, with locked door to the apartment block and then another locked door to the accommodation which made us feel very secure. Lots of noise outside of the property due to main road and shouting - equally, Rome is a loud place wherever you go and this is at no fault of the host.
During our stay, the hot water in the shower was variable - the water heater was instructed to be above 40 before use, but despite waiting an hour and water tempt above 44, the water was still cold. This resolved the next morning.
- Lina (10/5): Comfortable Stay in Charming Trastevere - We were three colleagues traveling to Rome for the first time, and it was difficult to find a place that had three separate beds, a kitchen, and two bathrooms, all near the city center. This apartment met our expectations and, when we arrived, even exceeded them. The apartment is located in the charming Trastevere area, which is full of cafés, shops, and restaurants. Trastevere also has several sights worth visiting.
The apartment is in a great location: if you enjoy walking, you can reach the city center in 20-25 minutes. If you prefer to save your legs for exploring the city center, public transport is readily available, with a bus stop right in front of the apartment. We found it convenient to go to the Trastevere train station and take tram 8 to Piazza Venezia in the center or tram 3 to the Basilica of St. John Lateran (Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano) and the Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs). Both trams pass by the Colosseum.
The apartment is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with amenities such as a hairdryer, towels, a washing machine, and dishes—everything you might need.
The host was welcoming and helpful, constantly communicating with us via WhatsApp, answering all our questions, and providing lots of useful information about local restaurants and shops. Grazie mille:)
Finally, if you would like to experience the Porta Portese market, it is right outside the apartment windows on Sundays. The apartment is in a bit noisy area near the big street, making it difficult to sleep with the windows open. However, this is Rome, where life happens day and night non-stop. You may need to get used to the sound of the air conditioning too, which can occasionally be a bit loud. Overall, these are minor considerations if you need absolute silence for a good night's sleep. But if you come to Rome for adventure, these noises won't impact your nice travel experience.
- Genta (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): Nice and cozy renovated apartment. - Great place to stay in Rome! Host is very kind and instructions were clear. Smooth communication. Close to great restaurants and bus. 30min away by one train from Fiumicino airport. Clean and renovated.
- Peter (9/5): Excellent property - easy access to great restaurants, cafes and market in Testaccio. - Property presentation - standard of property, fittings and provisions were exceptional.
Security - three levels were very reassuring. Tidiness of entire sets of apartments within gates was very good. Nothing to improve in the property. Easy access to Testaccio was great; immediate surroundings were uncared for by local authorities.
- Sára (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very comfortable apartment, with two bathrooms adding additional comfort. Also, this apartment has a good location: near the train station and a lot of cafes and restaurants. Recommend this apartment if you arrive in Rome via Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport.
