К отелю нельзя подъехать на машине, зато ночью очень тихо из-за отсутствия дороги рядом. От точки высадки идти примерно 2-3 минуты. Завтрак скудноват: в европейском варианте завтрака одно жареное яйцо, тост, сладкая сосиска и сладкая ветчина. Дополнительно идут фрукты и кусок рулета, которые скрашивают этот прием пищи :)

The space itself was comfortable, quiet, and felt safe, which made it easy to relax after busy days exploring the city. However, despite the language barrier and limited English, the staff were genuinely kind and very helpful whenever we needed assistance — and that mattered much more to us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place particularly for families looking for a spacious and safe accommodation option in Chongqing. The hotel seems to have been put together a bit weakly in some areas, and you could notice that the overall finish and maintenance were not perfect.

We had a great stay as a group of 4. Only downside was that there was only one shower and one bathroom, so we had to balance our time when tidying up, but it was overall very manageable

La solución fue darnos dos habitaciones habiendo pagado solo 1. Poca gente responde de esta manera ante una situación de confusión y error. Quería agradecer de corazón a los encargados porque se han portado de lujo. Una experiencia increíble, las habitaciones son una auténtica pasada, una calidad precio increíble.. Ya estoy con ganas de volver otra vez la verdad. La zona es increíble, construida en estilo tradicional de ladrillos mezclando elementos occidentales con orientales, en una calle dónde hay restaurantes, tiendas, centros de masajes 24h... En definitiva, este hotel situado en la zona Baixiang, una parte de la ciudad increíble ofrece todo lo que necesitas para tener una estancia de lo más maravillosa. Todo es increíble, nada que destacar por nuestra parte. La zona está en reformas a 03/2026 en unos pocos meses habrá centros comerciales y nuevas instalaciones por la zona que dará mucha más vida de la que ya hay. Así que todo lo que os encontréis ahora será para mejor.

When we presented the staff with our passports, she texted me 10 minutes later on WeChat to congratulate my girlfriend with her birthday. That was such a nice little interaction wich made us both extra happy with the stay. The room was also perfect. 1 to 1 from the pictures. (By the way, the toilet has a heated seat 😛). The bed was very comfortable, we had a lot of facilities. The fridge was stocked with free snacks and drinks. Overall a stay i would book again!

• Kris (10/5): Absolutely my dream home in Chongqing - The best decision I made during my entire trip. The property is spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The interior design creates a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, and the room is thoughtfully stocked with practical items for travelers’ everyday needs. The staff are incredibly helpful and understanding, adding a warm and welcoming touch to my stay. This place gave me the most impressive and lasting memory of Chongqing. I’ll definitely choose it again on my next visit. The lighting system is a bit complicated, and it’s not easy to control the upstairs and downstairs lights separately. The stairs in the room are highly polished, which makes them quite slippery. Even with the warning sign, I unfortunately slipped twice during my stay. 😅

We had the loft that can host up to 4 people. The bath room is modern and clean. The king size bed is super comfy. The best part is you can make the room so dark for a nap. The stairs to the room need more work.

The rooms are immaculate and beautifully designed. Everything was incredibly comfortable and every little detail (free tea, snacks etc) just added to the overall cosy feeling. The bathtub helped me relax after a long day exploring the city. It’s a very convenient location for exploring Chongqing, just a 2-minute walk for a taxi or a bit longer for the metro. Nothing I didn’t like!

Loft style room with bed and bath upstairs, with toilet room and living room on lower level. Many shops and restaurants nearby, yet located in a quiet area off the main street. A great view which included a little of the Yangtze river. Excellent coffee provided complementary in the lobby. Highly recommended! No kitchen, bar fridge only. Location was harder to find for taxi drivers and such as located a short walk away from the street on a pedestrian only path.

Yes, it’s listed as a 2-star hotel — probably because it’s small — but I would add two more stars just for the hospitality and care alone. The breakfast was also authentic and really enjoyable! We stayed in several 5-star hotels during our trip around southern China, including Chongqing and Chengdu — and while those were nice, if you’re looking for an authentic, family-style experience full of warmth and human connection, this is the place to go. If you arrive by Subway make sure to use the ELEVATOR or you are in for a Chongqing experience. The owner communicates through a translator but was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

• Jing (10/5): Great! - This hotel is the most distinctive hotel I have stayed in recent years. It is very comfortable, the environment and service is very good, the lobby and rooms’ decoration are also very good.You can drink tea and coffee in the lobby in the afternoon, it is really convenient to stay here when traveling, and you can basically walk to all the famous spots around Jiefangbei. The stroll and walkway along the Yangtze River allows for running, with a round-trip distance of 8 kilometers, which is very comfortable and nearby the hotel. While running, you can enjoy the city scenery and admire the Yangtze River.

The location is secluded and away from the noise, yet close to the main traffic/intersection for transport convenience. The music playlist is nice to compliment the ambience :) The ladies are friendly and helpful. There are some stairs if u have quite a big luggage, but the ladies are very helpful :)

• Yoke (8/5): Great place to stay if you like to explore CQ from a local resident perspective. - Quiet, off the main street but yet still within reasonable proximity to city centre. The staff attention to our request and questions were excellent. Beds were comfortable. Common area around the hotel eg loft, corridor can do with some cleaning though. I believed these areas “don’t belong” to the hotel as the hotel occupy just part of the entire building and as such.. these common areas seems neglected.

Friendly and helpful staff, trustworthy as well, recommended a few places for food that were enjoyable local delights. A more accessible route to and from the hotel rooms to the reception area would be better. We checked out earlier due to our flight being in the hour of the owl and had to carry our huge luggage up the stairs.

The rooms are super super clean and beautifully designed. We particularly enjoyed how soft and comfortable the bedding and towels were.

The location is peaceful at night due to being in a pedestrian only area, and surrounded by places to eat. Highly recommend the Only Cafe next door. Clean and beautiful room and great amenities!
