• David (9/5): Wonderful location, walk to the beach and cafes. - Fantastic location metres from the beach, jetty, cafes and the bakery. Staff were very helpful and keen to assist. Not much we didn’t like but as the property is behind shops and next to a laneway there is not much airflow. Ceiling fans in bedrooms would be great, especially on warm nights.
• Close (10/5): Great - Close proximity to Brighton beach and attractions. Great sized property for family stay. Even has beach equipment for children. The mat in the lounge is very slippery and a potential trip hazard. The only small negative that we encountered
• Phil (2/5): Great Location BUT NOISY - First the good stuff, very central location for all Brighton has to offer. A good shower and nice lounge and bedrooms. John and the management company were also very responsive when we had issues with the roller door and then the TV (which was promptly replaced). The kitchen, bathroom and outdoor space are… mediocre and dated at best. The kitchen really needs some new pans and the bath looks worn out. The photos on the web site really need updated, there is no planting in the courtyard just a few weeds growing through, the outside needs a repaint.. If it was just these inconveniences then our 10 day stay here would have been ok. BUT the noise… it’s not made clear from the photos or descriptions that the lounge and 2 of the bedrooms are directly (and I mean directly) on the road, which serves as a pick up and drop off zone for the local shops. There is no pavement, the lorries and vans park literally inches away from the windows which have bars on them for security. From 7 am (6-23 one morning…), there is a lot of noise from this although it does ease off in the afternoon.. There is also noise through the internal walls which are shared with the adjacent gelato shops… staff chatting and singing whilst they work (at least they seem happy!). It all adds up to quite a stressful stay, really not relaxing at all unfortunately… not good value for money and 100% won’t be staying here again

• Nina (10/5): - The location was perfect. You are close to everything from cafes, restaurants, and pubs to the beaches as well as public transport. Staying here, you dont need a car, but if you have a car, parking was easy and secure. The residence was clean and very comfortable, and the host was responsive, easy, and clear to message with.
• Robin (7/5): Perfect location and nicely presented - Location was excellent. The security and feeling of being secure. The property is nicely presented. Spacious living and bedrooms. Amenities were good and handy. Size of the couch and the bed choices/ variety of sizes. Air conditioning/ heating throughout. It is a nice spot, and very quiet. Lovely wooden floors and very high ceilings. The mattress in one of the rooms was very, very hard and extremely uncomfortable. The whole bed needs replacing, in my opinion. The other guests slept fine but I still have back pain. The plastic utensils are very used, melted and stained. I think with shared things like that, metal is best. This would be cheap to replace and just make it that much nicer and more hygienic. And more forks than the four we had. That is it.... If those improvements were made I would rate it a 10!

So close to beach and restaurants, the property was beautiful, spacious and clean. The parking was easy and convenient. Laundry door was hard to open but we were eventually helped with it.

Very comfortable and so close to the main street with all the shops and eateries. And it is so close to the beach, such a beautiful beach too. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. There was only one teaspoon but that’s all I can think of.

Deceptively spacious property with lovely deco which had all the facilities for a family holiday. Large private parking area at the front if needed. Wasn’t as noisy as we were expecting given the location but we were up early so wouldn’t have bothered us. The huge living room was a little dark, a couple of extra lamps would make it more useable in an evening. We spent most of our time hanging out in the kitchen/dining area as was brighter.

• Fiona (8/5): Location Location - The location is key for this accommodation. I loved the style of the house as well. Everything we required was on site. The morning noise through our window in the main bedroom. It was quieter on the weekend, but if you're not an early riser, you need to be prepared for the racket that the delivery people make. And it started around 5:30am.

• Martim (7/5): Good - Location location location - it's 2m walking distance from the beach. Clean decoration - makes you feel super comfortable and at home easily. Large bedrooms and some toys for the kids. Early noise daily from the bin collection trucks. Surroundings of the house are the back of the local restaurants where they store their garbage (in bins). Not the most pleasant. Entry to the house is only done by the garage door. There's no other entry way. Limited/ old kitchenware. Doesn't have a dishwasher - we should've checked the description but at the price tag, I was expecting it but did a wrong assumption. Beds and pillows felt too soft for us.
• Shannon (9/5): Comfortable stay with ideal location - The location was incredible. It was great to be so close to the beach, restaurants, and playgrounds for the children. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay as a family of 5. The children really appreciated the closet with games, puzzles, and books. It's a minor request, but it would have been helpful to have a larger clothes rack to hang clothes on to dry. Being on vacation with children at the beach tends to generate a fair amount of laundry.
