• Danny (10/5): Highly recommend this place with great views and access to beach. - Location was amazing. Access to beach is very easy. Parking spot was small for larger cars.

• Rose (7/5): Good location. Comfort apartment but not worth $$.Too noisey. - Very close to beach. Close to restaurants. Not what the name suggests (“Calm”) very loud traffic both nights. Way after midnight. Inconsiderate location of lights on building shining directly into bedroom so forces you to have the blinds down which defeats the purpose of the beautiful beach outlook. Very disappointing.

• Robert (8/5): Overall The Calm was a lovely place to stay that met the majority of our needs - Location, apartment facilities, having a smart television, location was in walking distance to shops/cafes, secure parking, close to beach Couch was a bit small and uncomfortable, there was no throw blanket, there was no lamps, problem with flickering light

• Justyna (9/5): Superb - The apartment is located in a very beautiful and interesting part of the city. Overlooking the ocean. Nearby there are shops and restaurants as well as very interesting tourist attractions. Spacious and clean interior, the advantage is a parking space in the underground garage.
• Jim (5/5): Great location, and would be brilliant view normally. - Location, most things were in walking distance. There was building scaffolding around the building, that wasn't clearly identified prior to our booking. We only became aware of the reduced view after we booked and paid. Whilst building maintenance is important, it would have been better if this was clearly identified during the booking process. Also the Pilates Studio downstairs music was very audible in the early mornings.

• Neale (9/5): Effortless and comfortable stay. - Great location and view. Well provisioned kitchen. Coulkd use a couple of extra towell rails but no biggie.

• Vivian (9/5): Superb - I loved that I could watch the waves from both the bedroom and living room. It was very clean and well set-up. The location was great for walking everywhere. The music from the business downstairs was a bit loud at times. The bedroom felt a bit exposed to everyone walking past when the blinds were up, but the privacy blind made the room dark. There was a very bright light outside the bedroom window at night, which the gaps around the blinds let through.

• Susan (8/5): Great Water Views - The view was exceptional. The apartment was very clean, tidy and modern. Strict policies and no designated smoking area.

• Megan (8/5): Lovely Apartment - Super clean, soft sheets, close to walking areas There is a Pilates business below this apartment so it does get early morning noise with music and yelling and in the evening too.

• Olivia (6/5): Small beach unit. - The property had secured parking and offered a large bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped and great size. Staff were responsive and nice. The property did not have curtains or blinds in the living room so car lights shone into the unit all night keeping us awake. This also meant a lack of privacy as the unit is on the first floor. The bed was small and uncomfortable. Extra towels would have been appreciated given we stayed for a week. We didn’t realise the unit was part of a residential complex and third party managed. There were a lot of rules and a security bonds required, which we were unaware of until after we booked.

• Sandra (10/5): Very good - location, excellent wifi - very clean and lovely staff. - The location is really sensational. Great views and close to the east end, king and hunter streets if you are up for a 15-20 minute walk. The harbour is also an easy walk and if you are up for something a little more strenuous you can walk to Bar Beach with views of magnificent coastline.
• Davis (8/5): Very good - Location. Quite building great wiew. Close to restaurants and cafes. Ben was a great help. Needs more towel hanging and clothe hanging in the bathroom. A blind or curtain in lounge area would be good.
