• Jan (9/5): A lovely and gracious home perfect for a larger family or group. - The home was sparkling clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well equiped and we prepared several fmily meals. There was a beautiflly decorated Christmas tree set up that we enjoyed. There was a small glitch with the check in, but quickly resolved. The location is in a quiet neighborhood acress the street from a nature walk and water sanctuary. However, the drive into downtown Victoria is no fun due to traffic volume and limited aterial roads. Also, we didn't have instructions for the heat system or the gas fireplace and we couldn't get the rooms warmed. The stairs up to the door are tricky and the owner requests that luggage be carried up, and reasonably, not rolled across the beautiful hardwood floors. We had a family member in a walking boot and that proved to be a challenge. I would consider accesibility as an issue for some people.
