• Betsy (10/5): Kindness Above and Beyond! - Unfortunately, I arrived at this charming boutique hostel in pain and unable to walk. If it had not been for the kindness and care of the host/manager, I don't think I could have got through the days. She mothered me, arranged for me to be driven to a hospital, fed me when I didn't want to eat because of the pain and generally took the greatest of care of me. She kept me company as I was unable to go out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of West Lake Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you and your lady boss for taking such good care of me. Not being able to explore my beautiful surroundings because of lack of mobility.

• Moncef (10/5): Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Wonderful location! - I spent 5 nights in this hotel. First, the responsible is very friendly and welcoming! She was kind to adapt the breakfast to my allergies, and was checking if I need anything or give me recommendations. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. And they offer you Longjing tea at anytime you want :) The location is perfect. You can walk easily to West Lake, there are beautiful places, parks (peaceful and not crowded during my time there) and locations to explore in both the right or the left directions of the main street. It's green everywhere in this neighborhood and the air is clean. Leifeng Pagoda is not far and I went by walk. You can also go to Longjing village by walk if you'd like (it would take an hour, but with beautiful scenery) or grab a bus or Didi/Taxi which are cheap. Wherever you go there's beautiful green scenery. There are some restaurants, a cafe and mini-market very close and also if you walk on the main street toward the right. I'm really happy with my stay in this hotel and its location, and I recommend it!

Colazione cinese con un frutto. Camera piccola, non veniva fatta pulizia quotidiana e nessun cambio asciugamani.

• Camilla (9/5): Soggiorno confortevole in una posizione perfetta - La proprietaria è stata estremamente disponibile e cordiale, fornendoci tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno. Ogni giorno ci venivano offerte bottigliette d’acqua, e la colazione veniva preparata all’orario da noi indicato, con grande flessibilità. La struttura gode di una posizione perfetta: a pochi passi dal lago e situata a metà strada tra il villaggio del tè Longjing Cun e il centro città, rendendo facili gli spostamenti in entrambe le direzioni. Le camere erano pulite, accoglienti e dotate di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. In una delle due stanze, il bagno risultava poco insonorizzato e non dava privacy. A parte questo dettaglio, però, nulla di rilevante da segnalare.
• Francis Halter (10/5): - Petit hôtel de charme, simple mais très correct. Bien situé à 10mn à pied du lac, sur les hauteurs de Hangzhou. Le personnel est très aimable et attentif, mais ne parle pas Anglais, on se débrouille avec une application de traduction. Un peu difficile à trouver, dans une allée derrière la rue principale, il faut demander de l'aide pour s'y rendre ou un bon GPS.

She was warm and attentive, consistently ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. The service was excellent and very family-friendly. Plus, the location was great!

• William (8/5): Beautiful quiet location and pleasant staff. - Nicely located in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of birdsong. Easy walk to the lake. Tasty Dim-sum breakfast included. Pleasant staff. Clean and functional. Bed is fairly stiff, as is typical in China. Room is a tight fit, although worked fine.
• Bao (8/5): Very good - Great location. It's walking distance to Huagang, Leifeng Tower. The lady was very friendly. She helped us to use share bikes. She also gave a lot of recommendations to explore the local attractions. Highly recommended!

• Bernhard (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great time. The room was cozy and the beds very comfortable. Since temperatures outside were a bit chilly the host organized a second duvet to keep us warm. She went out of her way to help us with everything we asked for, prepared very tasty (and vegetarian!) breakfast for us and made us feel home right away. It's only a couple minutes walk to get to the parks around the lake and the neighborhood is very quiet at night. Thanks to Didi getting into the city is also pretty easy, making this a perfect choice when visiting Hangzhou.

She is also very accommodating when we want to do our laundry. Breakfast is great too, very homely stay! Very close proximity to West Lake, around 5mins by foot to start of Lake to 10mins to Lei feng pagoda Bed is abit hard for our liking. But overall a great staying experience!

• Shirlyn (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay here, the ambience was good and we could relax here during day time when the weather is hot. - The hostel is of walking distance to west lake, very quiet surrounding. There are sharing bicycles along the road and very easy to get taxi or DiDi by the road side. There is also a nearby bus stop. The host is very friendly and always accessible to any assistance needed. The room is clean and we have all our necessities needed. There is very limited restaurants and no grocery stores nearby.

• Shane (10/5): We will be back for sure - The location is fantastic, we walked to all the sites. The quality of the room was top shelf, and the staff delightful. Ms Zhang was so helpful, and each morning preparing a great breakfast. From advice on sites through to assisting in the departure ( a taxi to the train station), everything was so well catered for. We will be back.

Strongly recommended for those who need a quiet place for relaxing.. 西湖区 太子湾 苏堤 just 11min walk from our resort Resort located near to 西湖区 so it's convenient to visits around. However it's far from city and have to arrange transport if you wish to go down town. Taxi, Grab & Bus services is available - but there's price to pay
• Qiong (10/5): Exceptional - Location is superb with walking distance to varouis attractions including Xihu West Lake. Staff is very friendly. So far I have nothing to dislike. It's a wonderful place and wonderful experience.
• Mak (8/5): I will stay again. - its a good location as it is near the main lake. Its a good place for relaxation to really enjoy the fresh air. Transportation is easy as its not far from the city centre. usually less than 18RMB for most trip. Do not take flag down cab and negotiate on price. Always take hail cab. i.e. Didi. Generally, nothing to dislike. Dont expect elaborative breakfast for the price you are paying to stay. Host is a humble lady.
• Mak (8/5): A great experience for a young family. - We were well greeted and hosted by the hostel staff who recommended us places of interest to visit. Hostel is as good as a hotel room. Location is perfect for me who wanted to get away from the city and its so close to the famous lake.. Cab is reasonably priced here. Being further is not a issue. Managed to do some laundry but the dryer may not dry perfectly. NA

• Yan (9/5): in general I had a pretty good stay with my parents. At first, I was worried that they’d feel disappointed cos the room - great location!!!! right across to street to a hidden gem, almost felt like a jackpot!!! Please be aware that there is no elevator if you carry lots of luggage with you. Also, the room is tiny.
• Yuet (8/5): It’s good try if this accommodation. - the owner is sweet to prepare boiled egg and yoghurt for ME every morning when I go out for leisure. The bedding is good and silent of environment. Also it’s nearby the Westlake. There’s no fridge that cannot buy any cold food or items when you wanna taste in the midnight. However, I think the owner won’t be kind of keeping it in their kitchen fridge. And also no lift that it’s quite difficult if your luggage is heavy or if disable to walk stairs.
• Christian (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were very forthcoming and accommodating with our early arrival. Apparently they can prepare a western breakfast upon request, but I didn't use that option and instead went with the Chinese breakfast (mantou, congee, fruit). The location is great for hiking around the West Lake and up toward the Longjing tea plantations. The place was very clean. The only thing I would mention is that you should bring an adaptor if you use Euro plugs. While I could use my Euro plugs everywhere else in China without one, the power sockets in this hotel seem to have issue transferring power to anything but Chinese power plugs.
• Hanchun (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay there for its great location and services, comfortable bed, and super friendly host! - - great location, very close to the West Lake and many other tourist attractions - the host is super friendly and helpful, she gave us many useful advices for our visit - foreigner friendly (not many hotels of this price near the west lake are willing to take foreigners) - great services and breakfast none
