• Patricia (8/5): - Wir hatten das prima gelegene Deluxe Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern. Diese beiden Zimmer waren hell groß und hatten (eigentlich) einen schönen Blick aus den großen Fenstern auf einen kleinen Platz (leider waren da gerade Bauarbeiten). Wohn- und Esszimmer waren etwas dunkler als auf den Bildern, weil sie keine bzw. Fenster zum Schacht hatten. Die Küche haben wir kaum genutzt, WLAN und heiß Wasser waren gut.

• Søren (3/5): Basic, not DeLux - have just spent 5 days in this apartment with my son. The apartment has all the expected equipment, kitchen utensils, a working shower and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. Though it was far from a deluxe apartment, like promised, with next to no decor and just the basic necessities. A few other things did bother me about the place, the balconies were only just big enough to stand on and the toilet seat was broken. What plagued us the most though, was the constant noise from the municipal roadwork happening right outside the apartment. It would start at 8 am sharp and stop at around 5-6 pm every single day. I understand that the proprietors do not control when or where the work happens, but we were warned about it a single day before arriving, even though the message explicitly mentioned that they had knowledge of the road work for 2 weeks. The beds in the apartment were very comfortable and clean, so it was a shame that they could not be enjoyed very much.

• Aneta (5/5): Wystarczający na krótki pobyt - Gospodarz bardzo miły i pomocny. Lokalizacja blisko centrum. Apartament nieco podniszczony, ale czysty i bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Dzielnica była w remoncie co nie bylo uwzględnione w opisie apartamentu, dowiedziałam się o tym po rezerwacji. Wpłynęło to na ogólne odczucia estetyczne lokalizacji. Rozczarował mnie taras w pokoju- był tak naprawdę korytarzem i nie miał żadnego widoku.

• Constantinos (2/5): Not a pleasant place to spend your holiday - Location was good , close to the old town centre The property is marketed as one of two properties. The photos are all mixed together not clear which is which. The terrace is a stairwell, not a terraced as stated. The access to the flat is through a hallway which is smelly and in bad condtion stairwell. The bathroom is clean but needs a serious refurbishment. It's old and the corners of the shower dirty. Not pleasant stepping in for a shower. The bed mattress is very uncomfortable. Not had a good night sleep. The neighbourhood is noisy. All the flats in the building seem to have been created and built ad-hoc. The information provided does not reflect the actual state of the property. The neighbourhood is not a pleasant environment. A lot of construction and rubbish left uncollected in corners of the street.

• Małgorzata (9/5): Bardzo udany pobyt, m.in. dzięki dobremu wyborowi apartamentu. - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko centrum i plaży La Malagueta Beach, w sąsiedztwie świetnego klubu muzycznego. Dzielnica bardzo bezpieczna, o oryginalnym, artystycznym klimacie, który tworzą dziesiątki ulicznych murali. Duży i bardzo przestronny apartament, utrzymany w czystości ze świetnie wyposażoną kuchnią. Bardzo życzliwy i pomocny gospodarz. W czasie naszego pobytu ulica, przy której znajduje się apartament była w trakcie remontu i cała okolica była rozkopana, co trochę utrudniało poruszanie się.

• D. K. (10/5): Already planning my next stay - The apartment couldn’t be in a better location—just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the city center and about 15 minutes to the beach! The neighborhood and the building itself are quiet and absolutely unique, which I really appreciated. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The landlord was incredibly kind, friendly, and super helpful. I’ll definitely be back—no doubt about it!!

• Yasmin (6/5): Wouldn't book it again. - - sehr gute Lage - ruhig gelegen - Vermieter León zu 100% ansprechbar, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit - viele Obdachlose und Drogenabhängige in der Gegend unterwegs - Bad recht ungepflegt und nicht sehr sauber; Duschabfluss verstopft - Fenster nicht verriegelbar - Haustür war ständig offen und somit das Haus für jeden zugänglich - Rolladen des einen Schlafzimmers defekt, do dass man von dem gegenüberliegenden Haus direkt ins Fenster schauen konnte - nur Laken als Decken - der "Balkon" ist so klein, dass nicht mal ein Stuhl dorthin passt. Man kann lediglich in der Sonne stehen - das Wohnzimmer ist gleichzeitig der Flurbereich, also nicht sehr gemütlich - insgesamt ist die Wohnung recht "billig", nicht sehr sauber und spartanisch eingerichtet, nicht unbedingt ein Wohlfühlort

• Aroa (6/5): Buena ubicación y piso correcto - La ubicación pese a que hay bastante ruido por la noche y el aire acondicionado. León muy amable y nos facilitó todo. La cama, pese a que los colchones no eran incómodos, propondría comprar buenas almohadas y las sábanas estaban muy viejas. No hicimos uso de la cocina, hay de todo pero no muy limpio ( para mi gusto ). Las habitaciones están muy bien, amplias pero el resto del piso es interior. Estuvimos 2 noches ( lunes y martes ) y por la noche había mucho ruido en la calle y en el piso de arriba. Quizás tuvimos mala suerte.

• Breda (10/5): Lovely, clean spacious apartment, in walking distance of the centre of Malaga. - First of all, our host Leon was an absolute Gentleman. We got caught up in the blackout in Malaga, flight cancelled and we ended up returning and staying another night in the apartment. Leon met us in the dark and made sure that we were safe and settled. Thank You! The apartment was spacious, clean and a great location, short walk to the centre with great restaurants on the way. Great value! Absolutely nothing to complain about.

• Liz (7/5): Great location for a short stay - The location is fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to the old town north end. The flat itself is a decent size with bright and spacious bedrooms. The beds were rather hard, which some found very uncomfortable. The furnishings are sparse. The bathroom towels were old and worn.
• Maggie (9/5): Aunt and niece short stay - Bijou little apartment, rather worn around the edges, ie its in an old building. Also up a lot of stairs. However we loved its quirkyness, very quiet , and perfect location for the old town. Met promptly on arrival which was nice.

• Quirke-luping (10/5): Wonderful hosts, tidy home and great location. - The hosts (particularly, León) were incredibly communicative, very easy to liaise with and overall, really friendly. Although we arrived late at night, León had no issue dropping us the key at that time of night. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. All in all, wonderful home and great location. Nothing.
• Louise (4/5): Not a very nice place to stay but convenient - It is only a 5 minute walk to the edge of beautiful central Malaga. The area itself isn’t the best. Electricity constantly trips, especially if you have the oven or the grill on. Aircon kept tripping it also. The kitchen is not very well equipped. The lobby area to the apartment is quite grim. To be fair it is the artist quarter so it may be very avant-garde. Towels are threadbare and crispy. The terrace area is really not a pleasant place to enjoy any time.

• Carlos26 (7/5): If it’s location you are after and affordable this is right for you - Phone number provided for host and meet us at check in time. Great host, very friendly, polite and welcoming. Gave us a tour of the apartment and shared some local knowledge. Apartment is in a residential area and just a few streets away from the main buzz centre of Malaga which was absolutely perfect for location. A large supermarket just round the corner and stocked everything we needed it was great. The design of the apartment is strange and is in an old building but it was very clean and suited us fine for our short stay. There are road works in the roads leading up to the apartment(see photos) as mentioned in other comments but this did not disturb us, no early starts with the noise and was not on the road apartment is on so do not worry. The towels are old and worn and need replacing. The shower cubical and kitchen are a little tired but perfectly clean and usable.

• Jihao (1/5): I requested an early departure, paying for 2 nights, but was denied - Located in the road construction and demolition area. The building is old, with musty smell, leaking water in the corridor, and the stairs are steep. Fake flower decorations are ugly and scary (I think) There were almost no tableware, the bedding was very thin, when turning on the air conditioner caused nasal allergies. I stayed for eight days and was sick for six days.

There is no sign on the wall for the apartment. and some photos on website isn't from the apartment we stayed in. photo with two big windows and 2 single beds, not sure what apartment that is.
• Frequentspaintraveler (10/5): Lovely place to stay, nice host - I have been visiting Malaga for over 10 years now, and visit the city several times a year. During that period I have stayed in various hotels and accomodations, and Picasso's Corner Retreat is one of the better ones. It is very close (2 minutes walk) to the Plaze de la Merced. This 'plaza' in itself is a nice, sunny square to have a drink or eat something, but it also borders the old tonw, So from Picassl's Corner Retreat you are in five minutes in the Old Town. What I especially liked was the small terrace, you don't find that very often in this price catetory. Furthermore, the contact with the host(s) was perfect. The response to any question was quick, polite, and efficient. It's a nice neighbourhood that they are uplifting by renovating the streets. The neighbourhood also has an artistic feel. At 40 meters of the apartment there is a bar called Polivalente were at times are live performances. To be hones, nothing. The only thing I would state that if you have some problems walking, the stairs up to the apartment can be a bit of a challenge, but otherwise it's a perfect place to stay.

Comfortable bed, large fridge freezer, sheltered and quiet terrace on which to eat. Air conditioning. It felt very much like living with the locals. We were fine but we think people with mobility or large cases might struggle with the 30 narrow quite steep steps.

• Jane (9/5): Well equipped, affordable flat in a bohemian area - Staff are very helpful. We dropped off luggage in the flat at 12 noon, on the day we arrived, and picked it up at 4 pm from a warehouse on the day we left.. It's an interesting area, full of music clubs and street art It was fine.

• Marion (8/5): We very much enjoyed our stay in Malaga and the situation of the apartment and to the helpfulness of our hosts. - It was spacious and very close to the historical centre of Malaga. All the main attractions were within walking distance. The hosts were very responsive to our requests The flat was not really equipped for a long stay as in our case, (1 month) as the kitchen lacked utensils and oven dishes some of which we purchased ourselves. We had already asked for a couple of other things which had been supplied and didn’t want to keep asking. The living room and kitchen were very dark as there were no windows to the outside only windows with access to voids. It would have been nice therefore to have had some comfortable seating in the bright bedrooms in order to sit in the daylight. Again maybe something that may not have noticed by short lets.

Beds were very comfortable, we had a really good nights sleep after all days walking. it’s also very Spanish and the way the building is made is very specific, I loved it. There was enough shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper for all 4 days stay. Smart Tv with all apps plus very fast internet. The owner was lovely and let us leave our luggage before check in time , apartment wasn’t clean yet at this stage but when we came back later on it was spotless. Great job! We have really enjoyed our stay. nothing to say

Excellent WiFi and the AC at both rooms was something we REALLY appreciated. The window at the kitchen-dining area was not working properly and we ended up leaving it unlocked during the time we were out. I guess not the best idea...also please fix the toilet seat 😬
