Guest Reviews
- Frank (10/5): Fantastisch - Alles, in 1 woord fantastisch.
Alles top!
- Steve (10/5): - The staff is excellent. Food excellent. Very relaxing. The facilities were great AC would be nice
- Anita (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf gehad. Vriendelijk personeel.

- R (10/5): Amazing Stay In The Belizean Jungle - The staff, food, accomodation, activities and location are outstanding. The attention to detail goes way above the price we paid. Truly outstanding and one of the most memorable stays we have had during our global travels. Hats off Table Rock you are an amazing place to stay! Nothing.
- Jonathan (10/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Highly recommend, outstanding and memorable property - A very beautiful setting: well maintained lush tropical jungle-garden on a large estate. The free river tubing was divine - do it daily at 4 or 5pm as an unwind post activities. Good location, if with hire car - lots to do, iguanas, butterflies with hummingbirds, both sets of Mayan temples (Caracol now just 70 mins fast drive away on a perfect road), the Big Rock Falls swimming spot. Super cappuccino and cake place in San Ignacio - the Daily Grind. A large very characterful comfortable really room, big bed, superb shower - once we did a low cost upgrade from the cheapest smallest rooms which were nice and functional but a wee bit dark and not so private). Outstanding cocktails! Good evening meal, atmospheric dining at night. Just lovely helpful people and superb service. Nothing. One tiny observation is that when we were there the cooked breakfast quality was not so good as the evening meal. Quite expensive and pretty mediocre eggs the two times we ordered. Nice fruit and yogurt though, order as sides instead. (And just Too many Americans - why do they always talk so LOUDLY in dining rooms when there are others nearby! And about such banalities! Disruptive rude and boring!)

- amanda (10/5): Jungle adventure Hotel! - We felt like we were in the jungle! The paved paths that went along the cottages were beautiful. Lots to do here and places to hike! The bedroom was absolutely beautiful and felt like we really splurged to be here! The food was not high quality. It was still good but just did not seem homemade or fresh with certain things we ordered. The presentation was nice but the quality was not amazing.

- Danielle (10/5): - The pictures do not do this place justice!! As seasoned travelers who usually think of hotels as just a place to lay our heads, my husband and I rarely splurge on resorts or luxury accommodations. However, I lost count of how many times we said "this is the most beautiful place we've ever stayed". From cooling off in the pool to chatting with the friendly bartenders and office staff to hearing the toucans and howler monkeys in front of our balcony, there is so much we'll miss about this place. We enjoyed being close enough to San Ignacio (just a beautiful 15-minute drive) to go into town for dinner every night, and didn't feel "stuck" like you might feel at more remote resorts.
In an era where many resorts equate luxury with sleekness and sterility, there is something truly magical about Table Rock's rustic yet beautiful design.
- Eva (9/5): Amazing stay in the jungle - The bed was super comfortabel. Great lodge and spectacular surroundings. The services were great (pool, food, tours). /
- Vladimir (9/5): Probably the best place to have a jungle stay to explore the ruins and do cave activitities - Perfect location. It is in the jungle but next to two towns and paved roads. Easy access to the roads to Belize city, ATM caves, Tikal/Guatemala, Xunantunich and Corracol. Well designed resort blending into the jungle. Probably the best place to have an authetic base to explore the ruins and do cave and jungle activities. Reasonably priced as well. The satff was very helpful organizing activities. A bit dark in the room, hard to pack at night.
- Samantha (10/5): - Lovely property, in a beautiful location. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys, spending a day poolside, all the birds, hearing the howler monkeys, the fantastic drinks, the hot shower, and the lovely room. Every single staff member went above and beyond. We spent 4 nights and if we come back to Belize we will absolutely come back to Table Rock. The pool is pretty darn cold. But its an ecoresort and December!
- Kylie (10/5): Amazing staff at this eco lodge - Staff is absolutely awesome and so friendly and helpful! They know your names and we’re all so welcoming even when we arrived kind of late at night. They saved our day when a tour company messed up our booking and helped us get something else set up last minute!
The food on site was delicious! All was good as expected but there is no “night life”
- Mary (10/5): The staff, the food and overall lodge was excellent. - Peaceful, beautiful.d and overall expect
- Amanda (10/5): What a magical week - stayed with our 3 and 6 year olds. Did tons of activities organized by the lodge, loved the pool, - Great lodge on the river, 15 minute drive from San Ignacio We loved our stay!
- Hans-Peter (10/5): This is somewhere where I would go back to! - It was exactly what it promised to be: A nature resort in stunning surroundings
We werden zeer warm welkom geheten.
- jonathan (10/5): Table Rock Lodge was the highlight of our trip to Belize - An absolutely stunning property. A huge working farm with donkeys, rabbits, fruit trees and a chef’s garden, nestled beside the jungle.
Our accommodation was beautiful , relaxed and overlooking the river.
Our children loved every second of their stay - especially the animals and the immaculate swimming pool, bordering the jungle canopy. The whole place is exactly what we were looking for . So well positioned for all the attractions that the Cayo district has to offer. The staff is incredible - the best of the best and their love of the property comes across in their interactions with the guests.
The onsite restaurant is world class - the dishes are tasty, inventive and purely Farm to Table.
A big shout out to Oscar, Azeal, Zeig, Carla, Daryl and Isaac . Just some of the incredible staff we met during our stay.
What a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back to stay for much longer !!! Nothing
Alles was top.
- Johan (10/5): -
- Fleur (10/5): - Locatie, prachtige ligging geweldige service en vriendelijkheid en lodge was ongelofelijk mooi! -
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were absolutely amazing at Table Rock! This felt like a 5 star experience from the beginning to the end! The hotel was absolutely serene and gorgeous, surrounded by a beautiful forest and nature. We couldn’t have had a better stay!
- Ladawn (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Staff is so friendly and helpful. The food specials every night were amazing. We really enjoyed the grounds from the donkeys, to walking trails and tour of the gardens. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.
- Chelsey (10/5): Love my Vacation! - We tried almost the full menu and it was delicious. Great service, waitresses were so sweet and kind. Staff were always trying to make your vacation great and easy. They have so many attractions and things to do onsite. Affordable. Rooms smelled a bit musty due to the high humidity. They had fans going but not much you can do about it.
- Karey (9/5): Superb - Food and service were excellent. All staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly.
- Bonnie (8/5): Staff and service was amazing - Peaceful Trails, pool
- Linda (10/5): Wonderful! - The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was beautiful. The food was delicious. Nothing!
- Marla (10/5): A perfect and very peaceful place to stay. - Table Rock is absolutely magical from the moment you arrive. The staff is terrific and makes you feel so welcome.
- Courtney (10/5): Exceptional - This was the best trip I have ever taken. I’d like to mention who stood out but the whole staff was amazing. We tubed down the river, pet the bunnies & donkeys & ate fruits & vegetables raised on the farm. The pictures of the rooms & common areas don’t give this justice. We went to the ruins & had a phenomenal guide (Gershwin) that made all the difference. I felt extremely safe & a part of something bigger than myself. Thank you so much for an experience I will never forget. I felt like part of your family. I already miss waking up to the sounds of the birds & monkeys in the jungle.
- Alexander (10/5): A comfortable stay in the jungle - The lodge is in the middle of the jungle. You wake up with the howler monkeys, you can have breakfast with the hummingbirds, you can go tubing on the river, visit the farm, make an excursion, and have a night walk to see all the creepy creatures of the jungle. For an ecolodge, the rooms are equipped very well. You get towels for muddy shoes, you have umbrellas, you have a lot of fans, you have good Wifi, you get a flashlight and even a mobile phone.
Huts have mosquito nets, but outside insect repellent might occasionally be necessary (not always and not everywhere though). Nothing.
- Alliovermo (10/5): Amazing Jungle Experience With Even More Amazing Staff - Thank you for the most welcoming and magical experience!
I'm typing this as I'm soaking in the last views of the jungle from our balcony. From the moment we arrived at Table Rock, we knew we made the right decision. We were greated in the parking lot (by our names), escorted to our River view Cabin (Laughing Falcon) and given detailed explanation of our accommodations. They literally have thought of everything. The room was spectacular. It was like a giant tree house and the balcony with river views was picturesque. Beyond the room, the grounds were impeccable. We loved the on-site activities. The infinity pool, tubing down the Macal River, and the restaurant. It's an easy 20 minutes drive into town and 30 minutes from Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Thank you to the staff who were TOP NOTCH. We will miss you all the most. Table Rock, you outdid yourself and we will definitely be coming back! Nothing!
- Tony (10/5): Great location, great lodges, great food and great staff! Highly recommend. - It’s location in the rainforest, with eco friendly lodges, great food from the restaurant and exceptional staff who went above and beyond and the n making our stay wonderful. Nothing
- Bev (10/5): fantastic family 2 night stay in great location with amazing staff- thank you - Fantastic location in the rainforest- sustainable, great accommodation, pool, restaurant and the most fantastic and attentive people nothing to say
- Vivian (10/5): The staff were incredibly friendly! We felt welcomed! - Feels like being in the jungle
- Janelle (10/5): Best place I have ever stayed - This is the best place I have ever stayed! The service was amazing - the staff remembers your names, brings your drinks to the pool, collects your inner tubes for you after rafting down the river, all sorts of other nice touches. We had dinner there every night (enjoyed the different specials to choose from each night!) and someone from the lodge always sits down and asks your plans for the next day, provides advice, etc. MAKE SURE TO TALK WITH THEM BEFORE GOING TO THE BELIZE ZOO - even if it's when you've already left! There are so many things they provide for you to use (towels and ice chest for excursions) and fun things to do on the property (feeding donkeys). The location feels remote and like you're in the jungle (we saw tons of wild animals and birds around the property during our stay) but it's a very easy, paved drive from San Ignacio. We stayed in a river view bungalow, which has it's own hammock balcony, and it was awesome. There was no AC, but it had very powerful ceiling fans and every wall is basically a screened window, so it was cool enough to sleep (even though every day was above 100 degrees when we were there). I could go on and on about this place. Beforehand I really wavered on whether to spend the money to stay here but I'm so glad I did - it exceeded all expectations. If it wasn't above 100 degrees every day! Good thing you could cool down in the pool and river!
- Karlijn (10/5): Fantastic!! - Felt like coming home, since we were there for the second time. We’ll definitely be back again!
Such a beautiful place, great staff, very friendly and kind. The nature all around the lodge is beautiful! We would love for this accommodation (or maybe the new part that’s being built?) to be adult only.
It’s so great to see all the wildlife but they scare away pretty easy with wild / loud kids.
- Audrey (10/5): Wonderful family stay at Table Rock lodge: food, staff, room, activities on the river, all amazing - The location was great, in the jungle with lots of birds and animals around, close to the river. Food was very good, with different menus for dinner each day and breakfast was good with many options. Staff was really nice, from desk people to servers to bartender. Room was great for our family and very well decorated. Swimming pool was great. Nice options to borrow tubes and canoes to use on the river. We had an amazing stay! Really nothing
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Liked it! Great value.
- Isabella (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property, great vibe , fantastic food and the best staff!
- Andrew (10/5): What an unbelizeable experience! - Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed an on-premises bird walk (added 50 species to my life list!), relaxing by and canoeing on the river, the great and convenient restaurant with different meals every day. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The area nearby was fun to explore, although we didn't want to leave Table Rock. Looking forward to returning one day.
- Messier (10/5): Great lodge- highly recommend. - Beautiful property and surroundings. Fantastic staff. Above average food that was well priced. Beautiful pool. No air conditioning but don’t let that scare you. The open air breeze was perfect. Nothing
- Cam (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Table Rock Lodge is as good as any jungle lodge can be! - The Lodge is immersed in a beautiful jungle. WI-FI is strong everywhere on the grounds. The staff comes from the local village of Christo Rey and is helpful beyond any staff I have encountered. The furnishings are beautiful and much of the furniture was made in the Lodge’s wood shop from local hardwood. The restaurant served innovative delicious food using traditional ingredients. Solar energy powers the Lodge 24/7. There is nothing I don’t like.
- Vucevic (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff and food.
- Traci (10/5): January Stay - We loved the feel of the resort. Clean, staff was absolutely delightful, amazing food. I can't wait to go back. The pool was quite cold but that's the only thing I can come up with. You can't go wrong stating here!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful staff, shuttle to town, restaurant food very good, cabins very nice
- Janet (9/5): Superb -
- Amy (10/5): Loved it- the place, the people everything! - Everything
In the forest
Lovely people
Hammock place to sit
- Owen (10/5): Perfect retreat for romantic getaways, bird watching, exploring the towns and traditional culture - This property is immaculate - the attention to detail is unlike anything I have previously experienced. The staff all introduced themselves to us upon arrival and not once did they forget our names, our likes/dislikes in the restaurant or bar. It is private, quiet, surrounded by wildlife. The food is impeccable with lots of traditional dishes to choose from. Nothing was too much to ask - I cannot recommend this property more. Nothing, however, if I was forced to choose, I would say the villa was a little damp due to huge rainfall we experienced there. All our clothes were damp each day resulting in the need for laundry jsut to dry them out, but it was not an issue and did not impinge on our experience.
- Mathis (10/5): Exceptional - It was a dream come true.
- Eelco (10/5): Exceptional - The people of Table Rock are amazing. What a service and what an amazing place to stay. Would love to come back.
- Timothy (10/5): An absolute gem in the forest - Exceptional customer service - super kind and helpful staff who also helped us with excursions. Thoughtful touches throughout. Lovely food and pool. Wonderful location in jungle surroundings. We’re going to miss this place. Tin roof accentuates sound of rainfall!
- Engberson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindsay (10/5): A genuinely incredible place. We LOVED it! - We LOVED our stay. The staff is phenomenal -- Rodel, Oscar, Blanca, Raina, Lyda, Ezekiel, Ronaldo, and everyone else, we SO enjoyed getting to know you, and your extraordinary hospitality, service, and warmth made us so sad to leave. (To the owner: your staff is amazing!! Give them all a raise!) The location on the beautiful river, remote enough to feel very secluded and "in the wild", yet close enough to town that it didn't take too long to drive to activities, is perfect. It's a eco-friendly, rustic-chic vibe that makes you feel like you're really living in the jungle... because you are! We visited a couple other nice hotels in the area during our stay and those visits only made us fall even more in love with Table Rock -- it was by far the best in terms of offering a comfortable, beautiful, unique, and authentic experience. The food was amazing, too (our compliments to the chef!) with a wide diversity of options and daily specials. We are vegetarian and the chef made sure we had vegetarian specials available, so we felt very well taken care of. (Plus, the produce tastes so fresh and good! Most of it sourced straight from the beautifully managed organic farm on their property!) We weren't sure if we would miss having A/C in our room but it ended up being perfect -- we were there during the hottest part of the year but we still used an extra blanket at night because the cool breeze of the jungle created a perfect temperature in our cabin. We also loved how intentional Table Rock is with sustainability -- they offered so many amenities and comfort, yet they do it in eco-friendly, nature-forward ways. The bed was super comfortable, the room was huge, the shower was gorgeous, and our balcony's view was incredible (we had a river-view cabin -- highly recommend). The salt water infinity pool was fantastic; sitting in it while drinking a margarita, listening to howler monkeys in the distance... perfection. We loved everything! I suppose the only warning I would give to visitors is that you may want to bring earplugs as the jungle noises can get loud at night -- but they sell earplugs at the front desk, and that will be true for any jungle stay. We quickly got used to the sound of the jungle -- it started to feel like a soothing white noise machine.
- Cam (10/5): Beautiful property, fantastic food, and above and beyond amazing staff!!! - The resort is amazing! Small and very detailed in it's jungle lodge design. Food was fantastic ... but the staff was really what makes this place more special!!! Expensive, but worth it.
- Pierre (10/5): Great stay in jungle - Great jungle location by the river, infinity pool andclean and confortable cabanas
- Rachael (10/5): the hotel was fantastic- beautiful, plenty to do (pool, hiking trails, canoeing, tubing), the food was incredible and th - the staff!!!! the staff was fantastic. the rooms were beautiful. the food was incredible. they thought of every detail. plenty to do on site (pool, hiking trails, canoeing, tubing). we didn’t want to leave a little far from San Ignacio (but that’s also a perk because it felt like an oasis) & a shuttle allowed us to easily go into town
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jian (9/5): Superb - landscaping, staff
- William (10/5): highly recommend - true jungle lodge spotty cell and Wi-Fi.. but it was not a real issue. good wifi in comfortable common areas
